How’s my Hebrew when I wrote it out of my head? The ba and bi ones are just sound practice

What’s your favorite song by Buddy Davis of answers in Genesis? My favorite is soar, and of course billions of Dead things, and I’m not ashamed of the gospel song he did is a top contender for me.

Then there are the songs he did that make me bawl my eyes out every time I hear them, the song i think he wrote for his wife called Heavens as pretty, another tear jerker for me is if heaven had a window. What about you?

Sometimes I look at Luna, and she looks like a lab(mostly I think), sometimes a pitbull, and now she reminds me of a blue heeler because of her ears and build, yesterday she did that thing German short haired pointer dogs do. Who knows what mystery combo she is 🤷‍♀️

Luna is upset she is banned from the bed, whining, depressed, pacing.

the reason im breaking her from the bed is because it negatively affects my sleep, and she pees in the bed, we got her a wonderful dog bed to go into her absolutely massive crate we got her. is it normal for a dog to be sad about not being allowed in the bed anymore?

I’m also concerned about our bond as she is not doing recall well now and doesn’t seem to like getting petted on the floor as much as she did on the bed.

This was a habit she developed at the house before us(not the drug addicts, the next people who rescued her, spoiled Luna and taught her nothing).

I don’t like seeing her so sad and disconnected, will she go back to normal eventually?

in the last picture I was actually in the crate if your wondering.

Hello fellow guitar players in Christ! Im just now learning to play guitar with tabs, after two years. Did you learn tabs right off the bat? or did you learn them later?

what resources do you recommend? I’m Liking Zeno guitar currently. Buddy Davis of answers in genesis inspired me to play guitar, and I’m now into playing music for the glory of God.

Paint horse lovers: what is your favorite specific pattern and color, I like either a frame overo blue roan or sorrel, with a patch of coloring over it’s eye.

Is my lab puppy actually in danger of being mauled by my aunts gsd or am I just being over protective?

Ok let me break down what is happening, what there behavioral issues are, and training histories:

let’s start with Luna: Luna is a 6 month old lab, potentially a mix, I got her three days ago and she is doing well. She has a intense fear of other dogs, and was rescued from a drug addict house then taken and spoiled and not taught anything, i now have her and am working on building a bond and basic obedience.

Penny: Penny is my Aunts gsd, she has no boundaries, not even for other dogs. she is not taught anything but crate, and she has got into a fight that ended up being bloody with another gsd she lived with, she is not being nice to Luna. right now it’s not exactly aggression, but making herself look bigger, chasing, and not respecting my shy dogs space.

let me tell you what worries me: penny has a history of fighting another gsd, she has no boundaries: Luna is shy, tries to escape Penny and hides: im concerned that if Luna retaliates by biting out of fear, that will start a fight I cannot separate and potentially, the gsd mauling my dog to death. They do not know each other, is this fear valid? The gsd that lived with penny almost killed my aunts beagle she used to have, and over a food bowl.

I think my free lab puppy has got pitte in there(don’t tell my mom🤫)

she was a rescue from a drug addict house, so she was a hood dog, which supports my idea.

what’s interesting is that I’m actually scared of most pitbulls because I was chased down my one when I was three and miraculously escaped(he was notoriously aggressive)

she is definitely the best dog I’ve ever had, she sleeps in my bed at night, follows me around everywhere. if it is confirmed she is part pitbull I’m not sure what my mom is going to do and that scares me because I never want to get rid of her. She has had no training before me (they lied and said she is potty trained, absolutely not). we will go take a training course at pet smart soon.

What do you think my lab puppy, Luna might be mixed with? Or do you think she is purebred?

u/Jolly-Bed-4026 — 8 days ago

A little update: Luna doesn’t know how to play with toys and no one before me taught her to even sit.

not the drug addicts she was rescued from, the next people that took her in before me, I think who spoiled her but never taught her anything in the span of time they had her. she has no idea how to follow the treat and sit like other dogs do, any advice?

will train her later when she settles in, especially after finding out she’s got no training foundation at all.

my aunts GSD doesn’t like her, and seems to want to tear the poor baby to shreds, I’m now a Labrador person. they are separated as my dog lives upstairs and my aunts downstairs, feels like keeping zoo animals from each other with the gates and making sure the gsd is not in the same room and stuff.

will also do the training classes at pet smart.

Got my first lab puppy today! 6 months old

She is very chill, quiet and cuddly right now, named her luna. she was previously a rescue from a drug addict house, we believe she is purebred.

Getting a new puppy today! What should I know?

she is a 6 month old black lab, I’ve done a ton of research and even did a puppy training course online, I have not picked a name yet. what should I know about getting a puppy in the velociraptor stage? I actually know nothing about its training history(free puppy someone is giving me). I want to take her to obidience classes, do obidience and agility competitions, and I want to to one day pass the canine good citizen test. where should I start? been looking at mc cann dog training videos too. what resource do you recommend? also I’m looking for hunting and trail themed names.

as an American, I like classic British humor.

I’m not saying that American humor is not funny, I like watching Tim Hawkins when I want a good clean laugh, im just saying I seem to generally find British funnier, I don’t really know why.
