Hey everyone,
I’m Joshua, 21, from the UK. Lately I’ve been feeling a bit down, so I thought I’d try putting myself out there and hopefully meet some people to chat with regularly.

I’m quite introverted in person, but I’m much more comfortable through messaging and I’d like to find a few genuine people to talk to day-to-day. I probably can’t keep up with loads of conversations at once, so apologies in advance if I only end up replying consistently to one or two people.

A bit about me: I’m really into music — listening to it, playing it, collecting it, all of it. I played violin for most of my life up until recently, and I also mess around a bit with piano and guitar. I love rock music in pretty much all its forms, classical music, hip hop, and honestly I’ll listen to almost anything if it’s good.

Outside of music, I enjoy reading, writing, board games, video games, and collecting physical media like vinyl, CDs, books, and music scores.

It’d be especially nice to meet other musicians or music enthusiasts since that’s the easiest way to get me talking, but genuinely anyone is welcome to message. I’m mainly just looking for a chill messaging friend.

Preferably people from the UK or Europe because of time zones, but I’m open to talking to anyone.

It’s been a while now, I was just giving it some time in case it wasn’t shipped pre-release date, but it still hasn’t arrived yet.

I’ve played the violin almost my whole life until I was 20 and haven’t played it much since then, and I dabble in the piano and guitar but I’m not great. I also enjoy singing but you don’t need to hear that. I am a huge fan of rock music (including any sub genre of rock), classical music and hip hop, but I will listen to just about any genre if it’s there (maybe excluding rave/dubstep, those kind of things). I am very introverted but I am pretty good at writing I think, so messaging won’t be a problem. I can be much more open when messaging as opposed to talking in person or on the phone. An additional thing is that it would be great if any musicians or music enthusiasts would like to chat, as that is my passion and makes for easy conversation, but please anyone who doesn’t fit that criteria still message! It’s just an added bonus that would be nice.

I like quite bass-y earphones and I need some that won’t fall off when I’m riding my bike to work. Maybe some of those ones that hook round the back of your ears, and also I’d like noise cancelling so that the wind doesn’t just block out all the music. Any ideas? I don’t mind wired or wireless, and I’m wearing a helmet so it can’t be over ear or on ear, headphones. My budget is about £100 but I’ll bump it up a bit more if it is worth it, to maybe £150. I have AirPods 3 right now but they just fall out when the wind is blowing hard or I’m riding fast.
