Okay. First of all, i hate ai, specially generative ai

Second of all, even if hate ai, i have to admit that, this time, the dev is actually using it as a tool, instead of letting the machine do all the work. Coding is an area where i kinda get why ai is used (unlike "music" or "art" made with AI)

And third of all, most of the negative reactions are inmature as hell. Calling it AI Slop, pretending the dev is literally just asking Chat GPT to do all the shit, calling it a dissapointment, etc. It's valid to not like AI, it's valid to not consume stuff made with AI in one way or another (i don't)

But come on, man. At least acknoledge how hard it's to port the Retro Engine to fuckass Sega Saturn, and apprecciate how he is managing to do it.

So today i went to another city, and came across a store (well, one of 4 subdivisions of one big toy store), dedicated to Hot Wheels and Cars diecast.

Suddenly my dad pointed out something, and it was this fella (The original 2012 version). It was the only one there. I paid 16 bucks for him. My happiness is way beyond words

Okay, first of all: i'm not a big fan of Sonic X. For multiple things: pa ing un the first two seasons, filler episodes that aren't good by any chance, how Amy was portrayed, etc. I actually don't mind Chris, only what i mentioned above keeps me from enjoying the show.

That being said, while some things are far from being perfect (The fact that Sonic can't curl into a ball without something external is annoying), i believe this would've been a lot more fun show. Focusing entirely on Sonic's world, instead of have them in a separate reality, allowing to actually explore it completly, instead of being just that one forest shown during Sonic X, have more anthro background characters, maybe blend humans in, like the Adventure games, making all the game characters equally relevant and well developed, etc. Hell, i wish the series actually used the Cyclone from those games, instead of that stupid ass ship that looks nothing like any "tornado" Tails would build.

Overall, that's what i think.

But this was something i encountered most of time a few months ago. These pages are normally full of the worst, strange, nonsensical opinions i read on the internet. For example, i found this one some time ago (i even made a post on a sonic related sub). Not only it's something impossible, on the legal side of things, it's straight up stupid (probably raigbait tho)

And that's pretty much why i hate them
