Hey all just wanted to let you know I have a subreddit called r/Shojosei that is focused on shoujo and josei manga basically joseimuke (aimed at the female audience). Posts in there can’t be from shounen or seinen manga. Shounen and seinen manga, which is danseimuke aimed at the male audience, usually get more attention compared to shoujo and josei (especially josei manga) hence why it’s a subreddit strictly focused on joseimuke manga/anime only.

And then I have another one called r/LGBTQIAManga a place to post LGBTQIA that is from shoujo, josei, BL, or GL magazine. It can’t be from a shounen/seinen magazine, it can’t be danseimuke.

Was just curious to see if there were others here who are studying Japanese in order to read/watch/play joseimuke media such as (shoujo/josei anime, shoujo/josei manga, otome games, joseimuke visual novels, etc).

If so what is your favorite that you enjoy?

I was just curious if there was anyone here studying Japanese in order to read shoujo manga (especially since a lot of the non romance shoujo manga don’t get English translation or an anime).

If so what shoujo/josei manga and/or otome games interest you? ❤️
