Is it crazy to say in comparsion to the main cast Surge is a low-tier (Yes even to Mighty and Honey)

Debunk to G0dZylla's post

(His Post)

  1. The important thing of a Barrier Technique is a concrete image. Gojo got the image of something smaller than a basketball by being sealed in the Prison Realm. Yuta has access to Gojo's memories and thus can visualize too. So he absolutely has Basketball Domain.

  2. The assumption of Kenjaku's domain immediately overwhelming Yuta's. When the only time this is ever shown is with a gap as big as Jogo and Gojo. We can disagree on a lot of things, but the "gap" between Yuta and Kenjaku in refinement is not as much as the gap between Gojo and Jogo. "Oh What about Kenjaku just overwhelming Yuta after a few pages" That's impossible too.

A Domain Clash depends on compatibility and cursed energy. Compatibility is unquantifiable so I'll talk about Cursed Energy. Of course, this might be super obvious, but Yuta essentially has Kenjaku beat out on reserves here. Even ignoring Yuta's base reserves and assuming that Kenjaku's are higher, Rika completely refills his with her own (Or his stockpiled cursed energy).

Rika was capable of using RCT Output between when Yuta started the brain surgery and at some unknown point between 262 and 269 when Yuta's body came back alive. Assuming it's talking about output, Yuta also mogs. Ryu has the highest output amongst the Culling Game Players. Which also includes Kenjaku. Yuta's beam here can match Ryu's. No this isn't "Yuta and Rika's Output Merging".

First of all, that has NEVER been implied to have happened, yet alone that it's possible. The only reason Rika is mentioned is explaining how Yuta does the blast. Ryu himself is surprised that Rika can shoot a beam of her own. So if it was both of their outputs, it would be non-surprising. So Yuta's Output Rivals Ryu. Let's assume the common option that it's talking about both output and reserves.

This means that Yuta absolutely destroys Kenjaku in any notion of output and reserves. Compatibility is unquantifiable so it is skill which carries Kenjaku's ass. So Yuta can absolutely clash with Kenjaku.

  1. H2H Skill does not matter here. Kenjaku is shown going relative with Choso in bare h2h. Consistent with them both capable of tagging each other and Kenjaku's strike only bruising him. It'd be an Argument of Ignorance if I said CG Choso = Shibuya Choso. But there is no real argument for there being a huge gap. Kenjaku deadass has no real stat scaling that isn't circular outside of a very debatable reaction speed feat aside. Do I even need to explain why being on the same level of stats as Base CG Choso has no business of you engaging in h2h with Yuta?

  2. AGS does not matter AT ALL here. Yuki who's just used RCT to bring her back from near-death implies that even right next to her, she would still be able to dodge AGS. It's only useful for getting rid of projectiles or as a sneak attack. In straight on combat it's never going to hit Yuta. Look to point 3 so you can get an idea of how Yuta can damage Kenjaku to the point of collapsing his domain.

  3. I don't need to comment much on it to be honest. Yuta does Kenjaku's swarm how he did Kuro's insects. He should also be capable of sending blasts as large as Ryu. Most of them don't need RCT Output to be honest. Yuta still has Rika's Reserves to fall back onto as well, so he can just keep doing this.

  4. That's... the whole fucking point behind Basketball Domain. Besides that this only happens due to Kenjaku's domain being within the Sunyata Barrier. Kenjaku will constantly be pressured by Yuta so he doesn't have the time to perform one of these. Not to mention moving your domain exists. So Yuta can just keep avoiding Kenjaku's attempts at disabling his domain.

  5. Yuta has the ability to imbue one of his cursed techniques into the barrier, acting as his default surehit. His remaining Cursed Techniques are imbued into the swords. Which is why Yuta never picks up a sword containing Angel's Technique. The swords are a part of Yuta's Domain Environment. So he could also use them in a domain clash against Kenjaku, which fucks Kenjaku even more.

  6. Against... Yuki's featless ass domain? Yuta himself has an exceptional domain expansion. So although we can assume Kenjaku's Simple Domain could last, it's not going to last before Yuta kills him.

  7. Angel's technique extinguishes any cursed technique. Kenjaku is going to be posed up like Yujo if it hits him at all. Not to mention before long he'll be burnt brutually and cursed technique removal WILL kill him. "Kenjaku can still tank it even without his cursed techniques". Be real, this happened to 16F Meguna. The fact Ryu and by extension Yuta have the highest output amongst the Culling Game Players means that Yuta's output should be enough to replicate the effects of a chanted Jacob's Ladder. Not to mention that Yuta does not need to fully chant. A chant or two should be enough. That's going overkill as Meguna absolutely mogs Kenjaku.

  8. He does not need to do the whole fight in 5MM Mode. It's only necessary for the domain clash. After that, Angel's Technique as a surehit is good enough and if he needs his other CT's, he can use the swords.

Oh right, it's not 1 on 1 between Yuta and Kenjaku
It's a 2 on 1.
THIS thing exists.

Even Hotter Take: This Panel Proves that Kusakabe has relative if not superior durability to Yuta and Hakari

Kusakabe knows how Gojo's punches work so logically he must've been punched as well. Since Gojo works alone Kusakabe would never have the oppurtunity to see it. Not to mention Gojo just throws Blues at random curses, except for special grade curses, but those are pretty rare. Not to mention what Kusakabe says always comes from first-hand experience, and he would admit he was guessing if he didn't know how it actually felt.

He got punched to test how good HIS defenses were The fact he didn't comment about puking implies that he was able to tank it better. I'm not saying he walked it off, but pushing Kusakabe relative durability with Yuta and Hakari isn't that crazy.

Ways to get Yuta > Kenjaku

Yuta at the very minimum scales to Pre-Awakened Yuji in speed. Domain Amp and Buff is unquantifiable so we can assume they would perform like this outside of Domain too.

Yuta at bare minimum ~ Naoya ~ Pre-Awk Yuji >>> Demon God Yuji > Shibuya Yuji ~ Choso

There should be no real difference between CG Choso and Shibuya Choso

Kenjaku in terms of stats scales to Choso, who as established is a blitz tier below someone like Naoya, as Choso can keep tagging and contending with him.

Yuta's personal best striking strength is having Sukuna bleed. Kenjaku's best striking strength feat is bruising Choso, who got heavily wounded from 3 Shibuya Yuji Strikes, which are >~ OT Nanami's strikes.

Kenjaku uses Anti-Gravity Reversal when faced with Supernova. Which should imply it'd do something relevant to him. Not to mention there is deadass more disadvantages than advantages by revealing his CT. Meanwhile Shibuya Yuji tanks that shit. Yuta meanwhile does more damage on a stronger version of Yuji. So any of Yuta's attacks would do this level of damage to Kenjaku.

Kenjaku if not for the head trick would die to a Close Range Piercing Blood. Sukuna is capable of deflecting it. A roughly same level of Sukuna gets more damaged by a Thin Ice Breaker.

Yuta's Output at it's Full Power is roughly equal although inferior to Ryu's. Ryu has the highest output of all the Culling Game Players, which includes Kenjaku. Jacob's Ladder is an output dependent technique. Otherwise Yuta's Jacob's Ladder should be much more effective than Two-Armed Hana's, who fried 16F Meguna. TE Aura is real, so even if Jacob's Ladder required Yuta to fly up into the air, he wouldn't need to use it.

Otherwise Yuta genuinely just outstats HARD and Angel's Technique is an easy win.

Please pin me mods.

Edo Era Lore. Also KasHIMo mentions

This took me 30+ minutes alone to type this out. Please don't send me into the dungeons.

It's 1603 and Tokugawa Ieyasu is the New Shogun of Japan, having unrivaled influence across the nation. His head of Government is in Edo, the Future Tokyo. Although the Heian Era has come and gone, this is still a golden era. The Emperor (Not the Shogun, there's a difference) is the defacto head of the Zenin Clan which has a talented Ten Shadows User capable of fully reaching their own potential.

A Six Eyes Limitless User was also born, being the heir of the Gojo and Toyotomi Clans. And there's also Ryu Ishigori, the Sorcerer with the Highest Output in History. But the strongest sorcerer alive is still Hajime Kashimo, who has not once, used his cursed technique in battle. Kenjaku and Tengen are still around of course as well.

There is the capital Edo. Where a School for Jujutsu Sorcerers is and where Tengen is also hidden. Edo is the most protected area due to Tengen's Barriers repelling the Oni. There is Heian-Kyo. Where the Zenin Clan resides. It has desires to make the Gojo Clan submit and the Toyotomi Clan cease to exist. There is Osaka. Where the Gojo and Toyotomi Clans live.

It's heavily reinforced due to the fact they're neighboring the Zenin Clan, the biggest clan in Jujutsu History. Every Fertile Man has a harem with Toyotomi Women, in order to create as many child sorcerers as possible. The Limitless Six Eyes User has imbued part of their cursed technique into a cursed object containing a barrier around the Gojo Clan Castle, in order to maintain a barrier similar to "Infinity". They're also aligned with the Kashimo Clan.

There is Shimabara. This is the Christianized Section of Japan. Of course, there are local Japanese Sorcerers, both Christian and opposing, but it also contains the biggest number of foreign sorcerers, the Portugese. There is the Central Lands. Which for some reason really hate Hajime Kashimo. It's led by a bunch of peasants, although their farmer sorcerers keep getting destroyed by Kashimo and the non-sorcerers killed by the Oni. It's rough.

There is the Western Regions. Where the Kamo Clan Resides. They created the Oni. There is Ezo. Separate from Honshu, this is basically where the Oni Reside. For Some Reason, it's impossible for anyone not the Oni King to navigate the main castle. It's also intended to serve the secret purpose off eventually merging 100,000 Oni to create essentially The Merger.

And of course, we can't forget the Jujutsu Clans
The Zenin: One of the Strongest Clans, second to the Kashimo Clan. This is the peak. Due to the Ten Shadows Technique going missing for the rest of history until Fushiguro Megumi was born and getting outcompeted and almost exterminated by the Fujiwara Clan. They have over a hundred sorcerers and the most talented Ten Shadows User in History. 9 out of 10 Shikigami, Reverse Cursed Technique, Anti-Domain Techniques, Domain Expansion. Everything. For their 18th birthday, they will summon Divine General Mahoraga to tame him too. The Emperor is around the level of say Tsukumo Yuki from the Modern Era.

The Kamo: They're still the tools of Kenjaku. As he was connected to the clan long before he had the body of Noritoshi Kamo. They're the more experimental type, being essentially tiny, with the elite barely being Grade 1 Sorcerers, in comparison to the Gojo and the Zenin. Their main experiments are shoving cursed spirits into sorcerers so the curses possess them. They're called The Oni.

The Gojo: Of course when the Sugawara Ancestors and even Michizane himself died out, due to the Limitless Technique being unusable, they were still influential sure, but weaker than even the Kamo. But here came the propheized birth of the Six Eyes User, Born with the Limitless Technique too. Even at only 14, they're essentially talentless, being very much reliant on the Limitless, although they are still within the realm of Special Grade Power, they're far from Satoru Gojo. They fused with the Toyotomi Clan.

School of Jujutsu: The first learning place for Jujutsu Sorcerers not from any Clan to learn how to use Jujutsu. They're taught by the Legendary Tengen herself from the Nara Era.

Oni: Essentially Humans with horns and unnatural eyes. They have essentially a level of cursed technique compared to say Yuta Okkotsu. One Oni, formed from a Special Grade Curse, the future Oni King, learnt how to create more of his own kind and fled with the remaining Oni. He's within the same level as Kenjaku himself. So Kenjaku can deal with him righ- oh wait, it's Kenjaku in Suguru Geto's Body. F#ck. Kenjaku wants nothing to do with the Oni though, entertained by them, although the remaining factions are taking action against the Oni.

Christ Sorcerers: These are the Foreign Christian Portuguese Sorcerers. After hijacking the main sorcery clan, they want to essentially Christianize all of Japan. Although they're not exactly close with the Shogunate.

The Shogunate: Led by Shogun himself, Tokugawa Ieyasu. They have their own powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers, with their Ace Card being Ryu Ishigori, which so far none of their enemies could match. Although they now had to resort to the lesser sorcerers, due to Ryu, being uncontested in any off his battles, deciding to have a wife, a child and fuck off. Ieyasu is trying to push a truce between the Gojo and the Zenin to take care of the Oni. Any attempts to find Hajime Kashimo have been unsuccessful.

The Peasants: Of course due to the fact these guys can't stop reproducing, they have more numbers than the Zenin and Gojo Clans combined. They want to advocate for the abolition of the rigid class system and gain peasant. They want to make a statement by killing the Strongest Sorcerer, although Kashimo from day to night still slaughters any sorcerers from them that can even find him.

The Kashimo: Kashimo Hajime had a harem once, and his children became the Kashimo Clan, with Kashimo as it's head. Although they are the "4th" big clan, it's essentially a one-man show by Kashimo, who is now soon going to die due to his old age. So they want to turn him into an Oni in order to keep him immortal. Top 3 cool things to do to your dad.

And of course, there are the great events in history.

The Oni War

There is a reason why the Oni's are not a problem anymore by the time of people such as Chojuro Zenin. The Oni King has almost reached 100,000 Oni's. The Zenin and Gojo Clans are still infighting, due to Kenjaku influence the Kamo Clan won't step in and minor clans such as the Inumaki and Abe are still deciding between fighting the Oni or becoming one of them.

Tengen and the Shogunate are preparing forces though. Although eventually, due to a show of peace between the Ten Shadows and the Limitless Users, the Gojo and Zenin Clans lock in. The minor clans go and join up the sorcerers. Kashimo is of course nowhere to be seen. Elite Grade 1 Sorcerers, Special Grades, Tengen, The Emproro, Ieyasu and others have embarked into Ezo in order to defeat the Oni.

Of course with the help of someone like Ryu or Kashimo, it would be much easier. But alas. Ryu has fucked off and again Kashimo is no where to be found. But the Oni King was simply too strong. But then out of nowhere, Hajime Kashimo came to the scene. He'd been looking for a worthy fight. And he had wondered if the "Oni King" was someone who could satisfy him.

He was well, disappointed. the Oni King was nothing compared to Kashimo. The War ended, Kashimo had disappeared before anyone had realized he had killed the Oni King, still looking for a worthy fight. Although days later, Kenjaku, finally knowing where the sorcerer was, met with Kashimo and had that fateful talk.

Divine General

Looking back on it, they were still children. The Gojo and Zenin Clan had never had good relations. And their heirs were forced to duel to the death. It was an incredibly close fight, with the Six Eyes and Limitless User almost winning. The Ten Shadows user was confused on how such a talentless piece of trash could compete with them. So they did it. They summoned Mahoraga. What did they expect to happen? The Six Eyes and Limitless User to team up with them to stop Mahoraga? To Miraculously tame the shikigami? No. It was a quick fight in retrospect. Mahoraga only took longer with the Limitless User, but after a few wheel spins, Infinity was no longer a problem for the Divine General. Mahoraga proceeded to kill the Ten Shadows User.

This started a gradual decline in Jujutsu History. Kashimo and Ryu had both decided to turn into cursed objects, the peasants and the Christians entered a fight, exterminating eachother, the Kashimo Clan without their leader faded into extinction and the Gojo and Zenin Clan numbers declined. Perhaps the Oni if alive could've kept fate long enough to causes someone like Kashimo to be born again. But by killing the Oni King, it took only so long to exterminate the remaining Oni.

The Edo Era was always remembered as just "Kashimo's Era". The Oni were lost to history. And every other exceptional event, sorcerer or species that emerged? They were all forgotten about. Only Kenjaku and Tengen remember fully what the Edo Era was about. And Ryu and Kashimo when they both incarnated. But the latter two had died to Ryomen Sukuna, the second one became a mindless curse simply protruding barriers across Japan and the first being killed by Okkotsu Yuta.

Perhaps in another Universe, the Edo Era would be recognized as an era closest to becoming the New Golden Age of Jujutsu. Maybe in another life, Hajime Kashimo could've became Ryomen Sukuna.

Why do people GENUINELY ignore Yuta vs Sukuna Pre-Domain?

Sukuna airhops his way to Yuta, infusing his hand with immense amounts of CE (Best way to reinforce by the way. But no one other than these two have the reserves to do it consistently). Yuta is able to react to Sukuna trying to blitz (or rush) him. Yuta essentially parries Dismantles from a much healthier Sukuna Maki-style
PARTIALLY Manifested Rika suddenly shows up from nowhere and holds down Sukuna himself (Although size really helps). Sukuna uses all arms on Rika.
Sukuna looks interested since Higuruma's death meanwhile Yuta is kind of depressed on his own choices.
Yuta is mentally challenged as he tries to find if he was the right one to actually kill Kenjaku or not. It should be mentioned Rika is the only way Anti-Sukuna Squad can take care of Kenjaku's swarm.
Sukuna tries to catch Yuta's blade and would be cut in response if not for Chainsaw Dismantles. This is important as a Much less Healthy Sukuna is capable of catching Maki's blade without the same happening in order to land the Black Flash
Yuta and Rika proceed to get hit by Point-Blank Dismantles and get minimum Damage. Rika only loses TWO fingers (These Dismantles were lethally wounding Yuji btw) meanwhile Yuta is unphased and punches Sukuna in the stomach. Yuta proceeds to slash again and Sukuna feels like dodging instead of catching it as he did previously. Maybe Yuta is locking in.
Yuta actually aim-dodges Dismantles from Sukuna by watching him do a handsign. Yuta and Sukuna clash AGAIN meanwhile Rika actually phases through a Ranged Dismantle and punches Sukuna.

Is it crazy to say Yuta vs Kenjaku is beta Gojo vs Sukuna

There's a massive gap between Gojokuna and everyone else. There's a gap, no matter how small you think it is, a gap between Yuta and Kenjaku and the rest of the cast.

Gojo had a Basketball Domain and Sukuna an Open Domain. Yuta has a Basketball Domain and Kenjaku an Open Domain.

Gojo had RCT to make a Reversal and Sukuna had RCT to output it. Kenjaku had RCT to make a Reversal and Yuta has RCT to output it.

Gojo and Sukuna had special effects to their domains. Gojo could use his domain for 0.2 seconds and Sukuna could target anything with or without CE. Kenjaku had a much more powerful surehit in proportion to his CT and Yuta could selectively use his surehit.
