Never been so excited for a army preview before.

Literally every time I think about collecting the new Mawtribes I smile and shake a little like a kid on christmas morning. This is gonna be my first AoS army and I'M SO HYPED!! THE MAWTRIBES LOOK SO COOL. My boyfriend is starting to wonder if the smiling and dance-shaking all around is an autism thing lmao.

Best Gorger Mawpack loadout for AoS? Claws or Clubs?

I was stuck on what faction I wanted to do in AoS for awhile, but with the new Mawtribe reveals I'm really hooked onto them and decided to order a Mawpack online since it's really the only updated models avaliable rn. I looked over the instructions and they can be made with Claws or Clubs. Which is better for AoS?

Some of my first ever Orks

I decided to go Evil Sunz, but now I'm kinda doubting it and am thinking of switching to Deathskullz or Blood Axes? But I don't wanna repaint these already Evil Sunz guys, idk. Do you think the Evil Sunz scheme is good. Criticism would be loved.

Can't make posts with initial images in post anymore.

Maybe reddit just changed it up, but usually theres an option above flair/tags to make a post with a image rather than just a post. I looked at this on a few reddits and they don't let me do this anymore. Is this a issue with my browser? If so idk why something wouldve happened only now. I use Opera GX.

New Mawtribe Fan: What are the subfactions for Mawtribes all about?

After the new Mawtribe stuff got teased, I decided I want to make my 2nd army into AoS the Mawtribes. My first was Cities (Lethis) and I personally only like to paint cannon schemes just cause its good inspiration and have already good established lore.

Could somebody explain what the sub-factions, or differing tribes I suppose of the Ogors are? What's their speciality and what's their design.

I'm going to meet with a situationship soon and I'm really nervous about some stuff, want advice.

TLDR;
I'm cismale and have thought i'm Bi for a long time, but only ever dated women so far. Me and a transmasc friend who represents as a femboy by his own words have been flirting and doing risky texts. And we have a sort of deal about being "Summer-Boyfriends" since I graduated but he still has senior year of HS left, and wants to focus hard senior year.

Next week we're gonna meet up (he lives an hour away from my home, 20 min from my college.) to go watch a movie, and we've discussed about it and fully intend to fuck after the movie. I've made out before but haven't lost my V card yet, he has.

It's a dumb post, I don't even know what point I'm trying to make, I just wanted to vent? Because I'm so nervous. I think I'm scared because I'm not one for summer-flicks, but he seems to be more leaning to that? I don't want to get my feelings hurt, nor his, because I get attached too easily. I want to stay friends with him and he's adorable but I just get paranoid easily.

I feel weird just because he uses the word femboy? Nothing wrong with it but as someone who wants a good relationship, it just feels more like a sex-thing if I say "femboy" instead of "twink". I don't like him as a femboy because that makes it sound like it's purely sexual.. when I like him for who he is. It just gave me an alert in my brain that I should ask on if it's like, worth being commited to this if it ends up that way, or not. Idk... maybe I'm just gay panicking for the first time and I'm super anxious.

Has anyone ever been in a similar situation to me before? Just anyone responding with a similar experience would help. Thanks.

Kitbash Idea: Armoured Sentinel as Kapricus? Would it fit on a 105mm x 70mm Oval Base?

I am between making my first army as T'au or Votann, and my one gripe keeping me from going Kin is I wish there was at least one big robot, I'm a sucker for big mech type stuff like the dreadnoughts. I thought about maybe using a Armoured Sentinel as a replacement for a Kapricus to satisfy my urge, but wanna know if it would work.

The Kapricus is a 105mm by 70mm Oval Base. The Armoured Sentinel is 80mm Round Base. Has anyone else tried this before? Does someone possibly have a Armoured Sentinel already they can size-up to a similar base before I go wasting money?

Ladz, is it stewpid to paint 'me army Evil Sunz, when I'z not PLAYING Evil Sunz?!

I recently discovered my love for Orks and decided to make them my first dedicated Warhammer army, but so far I'm stuck between Deathskullz, Evil Sunz and Bad Moonz. So far, I think Evil Sunz is my top favourite because of how the red contrasts well with green.

But, my army isn't at all playing like Evil Sunz, it's not very vehicle-heavy. My list is going to be more like Bad Moonz if anything, the most dakka I can scrounge up, with as many heavy hitters and mechs (Deff's and Gorkanauts, etc). Bad Moonz and Evil Sunz got me tied rn, so, do you think it'd be weird to paint my boyz red when they ain't really bein played as fasta?

How likely do you think Votann will get mechs, because I either wanna do Votann or T'au.

I really love both the Votann and T'au so much, Votann because I love Dwarves, T'au cause I love Mechs. I can't decide which I want to pick, but, I think it would make up my mind easily if the Votann had at least one big dreadnought mech-type unit.

How likely, or do you think it's even plausible, some sort of mech might get added? Because I'm still not sure whether to pursue making a T'au or Votann army for 40K still as my first ever dedicated real army.

SM2 lacks way too much enemy variety: what do you want to see next for Tyranids and Thousand Sons?

Posted some images of what I'd like to see get added.

I'm slowly getting bag into SM2.. but it's such a drag, every match feels the same cause I've become so easy to predict all the enemies :(

HELP! What paints do you think could replicate the green on these T'au?

I just started my T'au army and really love Titanfall, and wanna theme my army after the Militia from the series, and found this awesome photo online of exactly how I wanna do it, but am not sure what Base, Shade and Highlight can achieve this.

Does anyone have any clue on what Paints and Shades could make this? And if your extra kind, could you lmk what you think could make the Dark Green, the Black and the Orange??

I hate the unhelmeted T'au faces, does anyone know someone who sells better looking faces?

I recently found how much I love T'au and finally decided I will start collecting some, but I hate the way the T'au faces look on most of the kits. The older kits have really bad looking sculpts and I wish I had faces that looked more natural and also had more variety like hair.

I did some brief searching online and all I find are either faces that are way too wrinkly and realistic, or way too sus and are just female heads. And the few good ones I saw are only downloadable and not purchasable (and I do not have a 3D printer) PLEASE, does anyone have any good head links?

I know some would reccomend I just keep all their helmets on but I don't like to do that for my armies, I'd like to have some faces of my soldiers visible

Painter who prefers contrast paint, should I go for T'au still or do Votann instead?

I finally found my painting spark after watching Warhipster on youtube and realizing how painting actually becomes kind of fun and easy when using contrast paints. Currently I do Orks, and wanted to try T'au or Votann since I really love mechs and dwarves. But after starting a test model on a broadside, I realized how T'au seem to not work well with contrast.

Maybe I had a really unlucky coat, but what do you think? As someone who prefers Contrast > Classic, should I still go for T'au? Or do Votann, whose models are less sleek than T'au.

The last 2 images are examples of the scheme I'm trying to achieve. Military green with gray and yellow accents.

I'm intimidated by painting Chaos and think using Contrast paints would make it easier, can anyone vouch for chaos being easier with contrast?

I do Orks right now as my first start to 40K, but a lot of Chaos really interest me. Death Guard, Emperor's Children, Iron Warriors and Alpha Legion all are so cool to me.

When I first got into Warhammer I bought a test death guard model and I gave up because of how annoyign I found chaos to paint. Now that I'm more confident in my skills, and primarily use contrast, I want to see if other people think contrast paints work well on chaos.

Do you have any miniatures using contrast paints of chaos to share?

How do I recreate the oxidized light brass on the Alternate Arch-Knight?

HELP! I'm painting the Arch-Knight right now with this loadout, but I don't know what metal paint to use for the slightly bronze iron, as well as what shade or highlight to use! Any experience painters with suggestions?

Can I go to a Warhammer Tournament just to spectate?

The Warhammer Tournament is in Dallas this Saturday and since me and my close friend have really gotten into the hobby we want to go, but our armies aren't finished yet, so we want to go just for one painting class but mostly to watch other people play.

Is it fine to go to a 40K tournament just to hang around, or is it more of a strict business deal? Are cosplayers, and merch stands typically there, or is it JUST like a big room full of tables of guys playing 40k and AoS
