FIFA Fan Store Additional Locations

I read on an article in the herald that they'll be opening up 4-5 more stores around Miami in additional to the Miami Beach location that just opened up. I heard that there's one in the airport, but is there any intel as to where the other locations would be?

Miami Beach is too far so was hoping to go to one that's much closer. Personally my guesses are the gables, dt miami/wynwood, aventura mall and dolphin mall.

Have You Gotten This on YouTube?

Context - I started to get this yesterday when trying to play any video, be it on computer, ps5, or phone. I restarted the router, phone issue is gone, haven't tried yet on ps5, but on computer using private browsing even after clearing the browser history, still getting this. I do have uBO enabled so wasn't sure if that's the cause of it. Please advise

World Cup Preparation

I know it's more on Dade's hands to deal with preparation and such, but with the news of the fifa fan store opening in miami beach and that it's south florida we're talking about, has there been any preparation that broward is doing? Or even any word about fan stores opening up here?

What Music Would Batman Listen To?

I discovered this song by Sade called Like a Tattoo, which is a great song btw, and one of the top comments was type of music i think batman listens to. I got a good chuckle out of that. But then it had me thinking, what would be on Batman's playlist?😂

What's Your AC Temperature in the Summer?

Since summer weather has officially started, I'm just curious to know what temperature do you all put yours at and how much is your bill? I'll start with mine with further context -

  • south florida
  • two-story house that was built in late-90s
  • two ac units, one for each floor
  • downstairs is at 78, turns on and off when it needs to (idk how often)
  • upstairs at night is 78, daytime try to do 78 but def no more than 80. turns on and off often. guessing it's due to heat being capture more upstairs than downstairs, not to mention poor circulation around thermostat, so i just blow a fan towards it
  • upstairs ac unit is 2-3 yrs old, downstairs is 1 yr old, but it replaced the original unit that came with the house, upstairs one has been replaced 1-2 times before
  • bill on average is $200

Issues with Homelink Button

'25 XLE, set up the homelink for the garage, but there's been some issues with the connection of it. It seems like you have to be in a perfect position in order for it to work. Although today it just wasn't working at all. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem?

Is Nu Stadium Accessibility-friendly?

From clips I've seen of ppl going to and from the stadium via tri-rail, I didn't see any wheelchair-friendly entrances, and for my dad, he has trouble climbing stairs due to his knees, thus would need a wheelchair-friendly way to get to the stadium and seats and leave from there. So before I ever take him to a game, I just wanted to know beforehand if there's anything available in that sense

Red Light Cameras Still Enforced?

Had a talk with my friend the other night about how the red light cameras aren't enforced anymore, but then he said that he got a ticket for one nearby the hard rock stadium. We're now thinking that it's maybe dependent upon the area. My question is if they're indeed still enforced and if so, where?

Late night thoughts: I know technically the fanbase is called Heat Nation, but I was thinking, if Dolphins fans are Dolfans, how come Heat fans never been called Heatians? Kinda like a word play with Haitians and given the large Haitian community down here, just kinda makes sense, even though yes I know there's a large Latino and Russian/Ukranian population as well, but yeah Heatians. Heatians!

May have to do a day trip there (from South Florida) and was looking through Reddit to see what are the thoughts of the area and the sentiment isn't so great. Is it accurate to say that there really isn't anything to do in that area? If not, what are some recommendations you can give, areas to avoid, how's parking like, etc.?

In the article below, they bring up some trade scenarios and picked out the favorite. Along with Leonard, Heat would receive Kris Dunn in exchange for Herro, Wiggins, '30 and '32 FRP. What do you all think of that if it were to happen? I personally have mixed feelings about it.

If he plays 70 games/season then yeah sure since his game may age decently well, however at the same time, he'll be 35 next season and he hasn't been durable, esp given how the heat like to practice very hard, unsure if he can play 70.

Want to hear from y'all your takeaways from the press conference. For me it sounded similar to last year's, but it seemed like he was more on the defensive. But few things that stood out to me -

  • he won't trade bam unless a crazy good offer comes their way. although i'd add to it that or bam asks to get out
  • he had envisioned this starting lineup - ware, bam, jovic, herro, davion. i'll stick with the belief that ware was sacrificed due to lack of front court depth. even if jovic was decent or did what people expected him to do, they still needed front court help from the bench. so it would've made more sense of bam, jovic, wiggins, herro and davion with powell, jjj, dru, ware, and pelle from the bench.
  • they weren't at all involved in getting the second rounder. that was purely a league decision.

There still needs heat to be put on Nick Arison to speak in front of the media since he's the final say now until Micky chimes in.
