It just stopped working suddenly. The lights went out, it stopped registering input, even if I restarted my PC and disconnected the keyboard and such I could only get the lights to blink for a few seconds. What do I do? I figure I may need to replace the controller if anything, but I took it out and it looks fine. I'm not sure where to get new ones anyway. It's such a shame, it's in great shape otherwise. Haven't even had to boltmod it.

I have this Model M I use daily as my main keyboard, I haven't had any issues with it in the months I've had it. But today, just a few minutes ago really, it acted up for the first time. First the scroll lock light came on and couldn't be toggled with the scroll lock key, and when I pressed the caps lock key to check if the lights were acting up the whole keyboard stopped working. The num lock and the scroll lock lights were on but I couldn't type anything. Because I have it connected by PS/2 I had to turn off my PC to reconnect it, then I noticed that the two lights were on even when the computer was off. I disconnected and reconnected the keyboard and it started working again when I turned on my PC again.

What I'm basically wondering is, is this a known thing? Is it a sign of more problems to come? Normally I wouldn't be worried, but this thing is older than I am and I would not be surprised if it's finally giving up. But if I need to replace the controller or something I'd at least appreciate the heads up.

I've learned how to model stuff, both conventionally and with the sculpting tool, but I've never figured out how to apply textures correctly. I get the concept of UVs and such, but I've never managed to actually apply anything. I'm also unsure of where to get textures from. I know the obvious option is to make them yourself, but I'm not really good enough at art to do that and I figure there are others in the same boat. How do I do?

I've neglected installing updates for a little while, and now when I try I get connection errors. Both when I try to install updates and when I try refresh the update manager it says it can't connect and to check my internet connection, which is fine.

I don't get any specifics when trying to refresh the manager though.

Say it's supposed to be a high-end PC. Supposed to handle modern AAA-titles with high graphics settings at high resolutions and with good framerates. All without a single fan.

Note, I'm not planning a build. It's just a thought experiment or something.

I fixed an old PS5 just yesterday, re-did the thermal paste (with liquid metal), re-did the regular thermal pads, put everything back as it should be, and it worked. I was able to use it and play a game on it for like 2 hours before I had to be elsewhere. It worked flawlessly. Today, however, it doesn't work at all. It beeps when I push the start button, but then it just sits there and pulses with blue light endlessly. I have tried waiting. Weird thing is I can't even put it in safe mode. If I hold down the power button to enter safe mode the console doesn't beep a second time after 7 seconds, but after 15 seconds, and it turns off almost instantly after that. What could be going on here?

I think my desktop looks a bit clashing. I have a Model M on one side, but on the other side I have this black Steelseries mouse. Their aesthetics don't exactly match. Could somebody recommend me a good mouse that can match the aesthetic of the Model M?

I think it would be interesting if making an engine wasn't just placing a block and giving it fuel, but having to account for things like exhaust management. It would also give tailpipes and smokestacks a purpose.

I'm playing Cyberpunk through GoG (Heroic technically) and I want to map R4 and L4 to be R3 and L3. How do I do that without access to the controller profiles Steam uses?
