Currently have an M2 8gb ram, 256gb SSD, 13in, running sequoia, battery life not great.

Considering upgrading to an M5, 16gb ram, 1tb SSD, 13 inch for $1355 open-box excellent at Best Buy

Just started my graduate degree in HR Management, so nothing heavy but all online.

Considering the upgrade due to battery life and being able to add the new MacBook to AppleCare. and I already have the entirety of the ecosystem in one form or another.

I do also do some light gaming on steam and would appreciate the larger storage space since games these days are massive, and also being able to run the newest OS.

I would be giving the M2 to my teenager who just started Highschool as well, so it would still get used for a while longer.

Anyway, just wanted some thoughts from you fine folks before pulling the trigger! TIA!

Hey Y'all, I'm a full time student, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing MtG and/or Pokemon TCG during the daytime in clear lake?

UCHL has a group but they meet on campus at like 6-9pm during the week sometimes and I cannot swing that, so I'm trying to see if anyone would be interested in joining a daytime group.

I would host if people are comfortable with that. I have plenty of space, huge table, happy to provide refreshments.

Just need a social hobby I can do at home during the day pretty much!

lmk if y'all are interested, I play standard and commander MtG and I need to fix my Pokemon TCG decks buut I have some old cards. Don't need to play official, just for funsies so banned cards are OK with me and even proxies if you want to go wild.

This is our 4th year together, and I won't lie and say it's been puppies and rainbows, because it's been incredibly difficult. if you want some back-story I have plenty. but my current problem and reason for this post, after all that my husband and I have been through, he has reached a point of apathy and indifference, he does not seem care about this baby im carrying after 3 miscarriages last year, zero interest in the pregnancy, the naming, etc. He also doesn't seem to care about me as a person as he frequently leaves my texts on read, completely ignores me speaking or responding to his text, either by saying nothing or changing the conversation to be about him. I have specific examples of this. and then the same thing with me saying "I love you" sometimes I get one back, but mostly it's ignored. he says I should be grateful to have him because he will never cheat and never leave, as if that isn't the bare minimum, and when I point this out he says he just doesn't have it in him to do anything extra. as if I don't need some care, reassurance, love, romance.. ya know, married life stuff.

so I guess what im trying to ask is, is this salvageable? Do I keep trying, keep up the positivity, encouragement, kindness, and care? hope for the best? even though I get the bare minimum? or has this relationship run its course? is it time to call it quits? because in reality, my needs are not met. and im happier solo parenting without a man and his input, he does not contribute to our lives in a meaningful way, in fact he just makes things slightly more difficult and annoying.

I do wish, more than anything, that he would just be the man I know he can be, and it saddens me to think about the future if we split up and moving on and him doing everything I needed for someone new. Which I understand is relatively common. I know that he is capable, he has his moments but lacks consistency. and maybe the fact is him just not wanting to do it for me...

anyway, take all this with a grain of salt as I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I did try to speak with him about it today and was met with further indifference, defensiveness, and deflection when all I needed was some reassurance. And I'm exhausted, I don't want to keep him around just to say I have a husband, ya know? I want a man who acts like a husband, or what's even the point??

I have been on latuda for 10 years, first name brand and now generic lurasidone.
And i have been at every dosage at different times.
Last year i went from 120 down to 40 and ive been doing fine at 40 for the past 9 ish months.

I am currently pregnant with my 5th child and i was on latuda with the last 3. (No issues)

But in the past few weeks i have started seeing bug hallucinations, not too often, but enough to where tonight i had the thought to do research and decide to talk to my psych next week.

But since its late i figured id ask on here if anyone has used or is using latuda for these kinds of visual hallucinations and if i should up my dose?

I usually up my dose during postpartum.

My diagnosis 10 years ago was Bipolar 2, i think it’s pretty accurate. Definitely rapid cycling with less manic/hypomanic episodes.

I do also check every box for BPD but my psychiatrists over the past 10 years have not been interested in discussing that so ive let it go, but it may be relevant since i just read bug hallucinations happen with BPD sometimes.

Not on purpose! But im currently 25 weeks and started out at 170 and just weighed in at 159. Im 5’6” so, decent weight either way.

I just find it odd. When i was pregnant with my 2yo it was the same thing, and after giving birth i dropped down to 130! I gained nothing that pregnancy and the doctor kept telling me to eat more? This time the doctor hasnt mentioned it. But like, i eat 4-5 normal meals a day. So im by no means lacking calories. The only thing i dont eat is fruit due to allergies but besides that my diet is varied.

I also dont exercise, and my job is mostly sitting with some walking around the store to grab items, occasionally lifting 25-50lb things.

This didnt happen with my first two pregnancies as i started out at a much lower weight, first one at 105 and went up to 125, second i was 115 and went up to 135. But those were 14 and 7 years ago, so idk.

Anyway, just seeing what yall think!

What should I expect?

I started this job about a month ago, and i have yet to state my pregnancy status to anyone. Though it’s obvious at this point as I’m almost 6 months along.

No one has said anything, which is fair. It’s just me, the manager, one other sales person at the counter and three drivers and a part time warehouse person who also does deliveries. At our store anyways, theres maybe about 100 employees in this company spread across the state.

Last week i reached out to HR about accommodations but haven’t heard back.

Now I’m just at this point where i need to explicitly state to my manager that I’m pregnant, I’m just not sure how to go about it!

Accommodations I’d appreciate going forward is assistance with moving 50lb items, not having to spend long periods of time in the warehouse due to the heat, and time off for appointments in the coming months since they will be more frequent. Just for some context.

Any and all advice is appreciated!
