A tier list of all the games I've finished! (Repost with some corrections).

Some extra info:

Some people will ask, of course, I'm 20Yo, and I mainly play, and always play on consoles, and I rarely play on PCs, on PCs I mostly play RTS games, and use it basically only for studying.

Also, this tierlist was completely made with my personal opinion, my experience when I played those games, I'm not considering, and never considered reviews, metacritic scores etc.

And, most of those games, at least a lot of them I finished during the pandemic, from 2020-2022, but a lot I also finished from 2019 and before, and 2023 and after, silent hill 2 I finished this week.

I have all those consoles: PS3, PS5, Xbox Series S, Switch 1 OLED.

My PC: Ryzen 5 5600X, GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, 16GB 2x8, 1TB SSD.

Anyone else having those weird artifacts on the bottom of the screen? Playing on PS5 slim, performance mode

What is the difference between "repair storage", "rebuild database" and "clear cache"?

I'm feeling my PS5 a bit slow lately, and also having some fps drops on some games, especially Fortnite.

Have searched a bit, and I have seen 3 options to use and increase the console performance.

On safe mode, there's the 3 options I have said on the title, what's the difference between them, and which one should I use?

If someone cares to explain what each one does, also, should I do all the 3 options at the same time, or just 1 of them?

At the same time, I mean, go to safe mode, use 1, then turn off the PS5, enter safe mode again, use the second option...

Thanks in advance.

New player here, i have some questions, and need some tips

I just bought the game on the recent sale on PS5, I have played for about 4 hours, and I'm having a blast with the game, one of the most immersive games I ever played, you really feel alive in the world, how anything you do, change the world and character around you, every decision etc.

But I'm having a hard time, I have already started 5 new characters, because I always die or something bad happens because of RNG.

What I'm doing currently, is buying donkeys to increase my army carry weight, buying supplies, raiding some bandits to lvl up my soldiers, and doing some simple and easy quests for some town people.

Is there anything I should do right now?

Also, I have some questions:

1: do you recommend playing with the aging mode on? The mode where your character ages, and you can play with his family after he dies etc?

2: what's the best ways to farm money early? And how to lvl up my character and troops?

3: any way to get good quests? And should I farm in village quests before going to the main quest line?

4: also how good is the performance on PS5? I noticed some fps drops sometimes, specially walking in towns, but not much in combat, I'm playing on performance.

I'm on PS5 slim, not pro.

What's the best current PS5 model for 2026?

Simple question.

There's endlessly PS5 models around there, PS5 OG, PS5 slim, PS5 Pro etc.

Which PS5 model do you guys recommend getting in 2026? (Not counting PS5 Pro).

Some people recommend the PS5 OG model 12XX.

But, I see many people recommending getting a PS5 slim model 21XX (disc version only because 1TB), also I heard and basically that's confirmed based on YT teardowns of PS5 slim 21XX, the PS5 slim 21XX model uses the same cooling system as the PS5 Pro, so this makes the 21XX revision, the best PS5 slim possible.

I have a friend who has the PS5 slim 21XX, He has it for about 8 months, he plays around 4-6 hours a day, and his console is 100% quiet, the only noise there is from disc drive, it doesn't overheat, you came only hear the coolers if you out your ear very close to it.

So, which PS5 model do you guys recommend, based on the 2 best models available, 12XX (OG), and 21XX (slim)?

Doubt about games discs preservation

I just got my PS5 recently, and I already got physical games, and 2 of them with 2 discs, gow ragnarok and horizon forbidden west.

Also, I have had a PS3 for some years, and have 12 physical games, but I have lost 2 games to disc rot, metal gear 4 and gow collection, both are unplayable, and PS3 doesn't even read them, just threw them on trash tbh.

But now on the PS5 I want to have even more physical games instead of digital, but I have some doubts on how to preserve the game.

I know the main cause of disc rot is humidity, and bad manufacturing, basically only those 2 tbh.

What i did recently, I put 3 silica bags where I store my games, yeah, the same silica bags with games inside medicine, and it works great against humidity, I put all the 3 near the game cases.

I also clean my game discs using glasses cloth, but completely dry, I heard a good way is to clean the discs with the cloth soaked in water.

So, here's my 2 questions:

1: does putting silica bags near the games, really helps?

2: does cleaning the discs with dry glasses cloth is enough? Or is it better to use wet cloth?

That's all, thanks in advance.

6 years later, and Demons Souls is still one of the best looking current gen games, better than many 2025 and 2026 games.

Porque a maioria chama jogos souls de souls like?

The Surge, Lies of P, Wuchang, Wukong, Remanant From The Ashes etc.

Are chats/messages automatically deleted after some time?

Does messages/chats on PS5/PS4 auto deletes after some time?

I have seen some old posts, saying the chats/messages are automatically deleted after some time, if both users doesn't interact.

Can anyone confirm this?

Today I was talking with someone, and asked a lot of things, like where I live, real name, if I like boys etc, I just blocked him, and deleted the chat from chat history, but I know the chat is still there, so the person can still see the messages and everything.

I blocked and reported, but I just want to know, if someday the chat is going to be permanently deleted.

A friend said me, screenshots and videos on chats, are deleted automatically after some time, but he ain't sure about messages, does anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

I can't change between quality and performance modes (PS4 version on PS5)

Got today Ragnarok, but I got the PS4 version of it, and I'm playing on PS5.

I already know that the PS5 runs the PS4 Pro version of PS4 games, and ragnarok has both quality and performance modes on PS5 Pro.

But on my game, the option to change the mode is greyed out and u can't change it.

The game is running 60fps, and the resolution is good too, I have seen it runs 1650P 60fps, gameplay is really smooth.

But I just don't understand why the graphical mode is disabled.

I'm not sure, but maybe PS5 uses both presets at the sale time? The high resolution and performance modes from PS4 Pro? Maybe that's why I can't change the preset?

I can't afford the PS5 upgrade, probably next month.

I also noticed the same thing on horizon zero dawn, where the graphical presets are locked, but it also runs around 1650p 60fps.

On PS5 games, like Gran Turismo 7, Wuchang, Warhammer etc, I have no problem selecting graphical modes.
