Do baristas control the music or corporate?

If y’all took orgo + mcb at the same time, how was it? Was it harder or lighter than gen chem + pob? Any tips or advice we should know?
And if it helps, I have weck as my orgo prof. I lowk might be cooked soph year. Thanks 🙏
Just curious! I saw the general consensus for baristas was that it’s gross but how does my fellow customers felt?
Will follow up soon but how is it for yall?? 🌝
Title. Please dont hate on me for wanting to try unicorn frappe. Curiosity kills and I’ll probably regret it later. Hope Starbucks pays yall some extra $$$ for the work and I’ll be tipping. Thanks 👍
Just another random 3am thought. Been a forever since 2020 and they’re my first kpop ult. Each song just felt so energetic and powerful.
I just want to thank the girls for being so resilient despite all the downturns past years. From starting over again in a new company to low sales, they weren’t discouraged and still gave their 100% in their live performances.
I honestly think their effort alone matches many of the current top gg. It just breaks my heart to see their current standing from their peak but I hope they get their flowers soon. Keep fighting!!
(And CHXXTA, please don’t fail the girls like yuehua did. And don’t give up on them either. They’re full of potential, passion, and eagerness. Excited to see what’s in-store for their next comeback!!)
Saw a bit of a debate online whether if the chart constant is correct. I saw some people commenting that chrono is actually harder while others think both constants should be 10.9.
Personally, I think chrono is more gimmicky while acid god is more stamina based (but straight forward). What do yall think?
Would it work? Plenty of groups added new members especially after rebranding. Not sure why but I keep feeling that their stages feel a bit empty. Don’t get me wrong, the girls are full of energy.
Maybe having a 6 member line up again will work better? Or perhaps it’s maybe due to lack of back up dancers?
Just returned and wanted to keep this real simple:
Broadway: REALLY lively (and crowded) at night, especially during the weekends. Guaranteed to have fun if you’re into live music and drinking. Most shops/bars open around 10am**
East Nashville: A lot more spread out with vast residential areas. There are a bunch of local shops and restaurant. Mix of niche and $$$. Shop clusters: fatherland, 5 points. Food courts: Hunters, Wash. (have a morning run at Shelby park!)
12 South: Rich vibes. Honestly wouldn’t recommend unless you’re into lots of preppy, cutsey (and expensive) local boutiques and shops. “omg im sooo obsessed this is sooo cute”. But very nice and fairly walkable area up until Sevier Park.
Midtown: The Parthenon at Centennial Park + Vanderbilt area are lowkey pretty chill. Surprisingly naturey and not overan by urban sprawl. Did a morning stroll.
North Nashville: A bit sketchy with random bits of unpaved roads. Less developed, atleast around my hotel area. Wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night.
Music Valley: Def catch a show at Grand Ole Opry (eat before you go bc $$$). Make time to stroll around the mall (Opry Mills) and visit bass pro shop lol. If you don’t want food court there’s family restaurants nearby.
History Tours:
-Country hall of fame was surprisingly fascinating. Didn’t think I’ll be interested but spent 2.5 hrs strolling / reading through everything. Didn’t do the RCA Studio B + Hatch Print Show add on but heard
pretty positive things about it.
-Ryman Auditorium: self guided tour was okay. Heard group guided was a lot better.
-Belmont Mansion was a hidden gem!! So picturesque and guided tour or not, you’ll get a 15 min introduction by a staff that gives you the TDLR of the whole museum. Really helps with building the context.
Hot chicken rank:
Red’s Hot Chicken (crunchy + filling sides!)
-Long wait time… bar nearby to chill in
Brave Idiot (flakey and tender)
-Long wait time… bar nearby to chill in
Hattie B (delicious safe choice)
-Go in the morning to skip the crowd!!
Prince (spicey!!)
-Recommend going to original location
(Other popular options are boltons, 400 degree, helens)
Planning to move to Charleston from New Orleans next spring for work. For my fellow Louisianans and ppl from da gulf, how was it? Major changes? For the worst or better?
And more importantly, hows the seafood scene here?? Cheap crawfish?? Better roads? Appreciate any insights :)
Kept seeing polarizing answers so why not. Used a bit of uber and bus during my trip.
-Bus ran more frequently than I thought. I’ll say on average once every 20-30 mins.
-It’s safe in the sense you won’t get hurt. But like what someone said before, the environment may be a bit hostile (next point).
-Lots of work commuters with some homeless (?) mixed in. Didn’t see many tourist on the bus.
-You can tap to pay but if you download and reload via the wego app, $2 gets you unlimited rides for 2 hours while $4 for the whole day.
-I’ll recommend uber/lyft at night. Usually it only cost me $5-9 to get from downtown to my hotel near vanderbilt. But they can add up…
Hope it answers any questions!
Apparently, 19 yr olds can’t get into honky tonks / bars at night even if you’re only there for the music. I’m just worried that during the day, broadway might be a little dead.
So is it normal for people to loiter around honky tonks windows for music? Are there actually alot of live performers on broadway streets? I already have grand ole opry booked but a little bummed out…
East Nashville around five point area seems pretty laid back with alot more local “hip” vibe? 12 south honestly gives the rich-people-shop-around-in-boutiques vibes but everyone hypes it up 😭
I have just enough time to visit one of those areas. Which would you rather and why? Would be taking food recs too lol. Thanks.
On a solo trip to TN and was thinking about trying out the local Cracker Barrel. However I’m anxious that I’ll stick out like a sore thumb as an Asian lol.
How diverse really is Cracker Barrel? Is it really what the online stereotyped? Thanks 👍
I’m actually visiting Nashville from New Orleans and wanted to make a trip here. Google map shows that aside from residential areas, only the downtown area up to the factory is walkable. How true is that? Thank you.
Hey yall!! Just realized most car rental companies won’t let a 19 yr old drive…. Is ubering to Franklin realistic? Really wanted to add in a day trip. Thank you!
Lived in bay ridge, sunset park, and now bensonhurst. It’s lowkey a mess, especially around peak hours when everyone gets off work.
Traffic lights are ignored and pedestrians aren’t making it better by jaywalking. Drivers are constantly honking and yelling at each other. Legit witnessed a road rage incident by 86st yesterday.
Apparently you can also just buy your license? Im so fed up 🤦♂️
Took MY ipad away from her and came back from work to this. Lovely idea to soak my collection in water then slather it on the wall. Thankfully it’s my regular cards I left out last night bc idk what I’ve would’ve done 💀💀
Super excited for my first solo road trip to FL from LA next week but started to get a bit nervous...
I originally planned to just simply camp out at Walmart and use my black card at planet fitness for water, brush, bath, etc. Will be sure to pack all necessities. The blue dots are just potential destinations to stop and visit.
Might’ve been a bit naive but how realistic is this plan? Anything you wish you knew before? Thanks 🙏
Been a customer for a month now. Recently, I started receiving phone calls from optimum “reps” needing to confirm my email. It went on for weeks now and each time with different area codes. And no offense, it’s also ways someone with an Indian accent.
But surprisingly, my iphone does show “optimum” instead of “scam likely” so I’m confused… I thought it’s pretty weird for optimum to go out of their way to verify an email. Is this normal? Or am I just overthinking it? Thanks.
