As anyone observed a different between men and women on dating apps?

40y

Recently single

Bi of course

Last two relationships (10y and 7y) were with men. Most of it was conditionally open at times.

I recently tried a couple of app, and am I on crazy pill gaslighting myself, or is the different in approach and connecting way way different between men and women?

Is it just me?

Like, I understand accept the following differences:

  • 10-to-1 ratio of match men vs women
  • Risk aversion
  • Never putting sex first

But if I compare the 100's of guys I matched with vs the dozen of girls I matched with over the months, with whom there was a clear initial connexion, whats getting me is how little it takes to be unmatched with a woman:

  • Being in the wrong area of town "I dont go out of such and such neighborhoods" (latest reason)
  • Not being available on the specific day of the date ("now or never"), happened twice.
  • Been single for not long enough
  • I mentioned my ex twice in a convo

And thats not mentioning the ghosting, which is normal. People can simply lose interest.

Its rough out there. Thank god I'm bi so I have a sane humane baseline to go along with, with men.

Would this preventive measure stop any zombie scenario in this track?

Every single household is given a government issued firearm, 12 bullets.

Wouldn’t that be more than enough to curtail any zombie apocalypses, even 28 Days later type?

How to address and when to worry about an appartement tilting?

Moved in St-Henry a year ago. Appartement is very old although it was (perhaps superficially) fully renovated before we moved in.

There was always a tilt in the appartment. A ball would roll over from one to the other no problem.

But this isn’t my first appartment and I know these thing can be normal.

It’s worth nothing my apartment is pretty close to the new section of the Turcot exchange highway they started building in 2016.

I often think about the tilt but it never seemed to have gotten worst, until this week.

I’m writing this because there’s a gap under my balcony door in my office that I swear wasn’t there before. I can pass my fingers underneath the door no problem. I noticed it because I felt a breeze on my feet. There’s no way in hell I had this last winter. I would have noticed.

Is this gap indicative of a tilt getting worst?
Should I look for other signs? Like what?
Can I fix this gap myself?

Looking to join/start a DnD/role playing table

Both French and English

I have no idea how to go about asking for this but whatever here goes . :)

Middle aged professional here, chill and mellow, who missed all the role playing fun I had as a teen and young adult.

I live near downtown and can host or move.

I’m not picky about the settings, I played DND, Pathfinder and World of Darkness. I was DM most of the time.

DIY: dirtier that doesn’t dry anymore :(

This appliance doesn’t pull any heat anymore. Any general DIY advices I can try before I call upon the landlord?

I’m just yearning for the challenge of figuring this one out in case it’s an easy fix.

Lint is always an issue as the filter doesn’t catch it all; maybe that’s it? Let me know what you think :)

Pathetique comme position.

The Great War: Equestria and Olenia only training units when I justify/start the war focuses?

Is this normal?

Olenia stays at 17 divisions, Equestria at 52, up to 1009. Then I used commands to justify war to see what happen, and they suddently started training Infantries.

Meanwhile Staliongrad had already 8-9 Infantry training lines up and running on its own.

Is this normal AI behavior?

I've mained APC in the botlane since 2017; dont you think the problem is overstated?

Hello, I've been playing since 2015.

I main Swain.

https://preview.redd.it/pxx4oc33c3ch1.png?width=727&format=png&auto=webp&s=1ab716fef9cb42a18a6e2b67426a2c30e86f3907

I have over 3 millions pts on Swain.

90% of these were earned in the botlane.

I started spamming Swain as APC and Support years before his VGU. Swain was always good in that role, the fundamentals were the same as today; lane bully with utility and great scaling early and midgame. What changed is the mentality.

I also played Assassin Lethality Sion botlane, or duoing Darius/Sion with duo Relic Shield into duo Zzrot Portals. It was an insanely fun tech back then.

I started doing this because when I began playing LoL, I thought ADCs were the most unfun, toxic and entitled players in the game. So I made it my goal to prove that 1) they werent needed to carry and 2) you could make them very miserable. So I invested myself in making kill-lanes that worked.

Back then I didnt think it was unfair; the rational of a kill-lane is that you bet on early game gains at the expense of late game scaling. Thats the compromise, and I felt it was fair.

I lost my share of games to ADC players who just mentally locked onto that 3 items powerspike and won post-35 mins. HEck, I also lost tons of games against a fed or competent Maokai, Nunu, or Ornn. No matter how fed I was with Swain, a good tank will cuck you up.

Anyways.

It really satisfy me on a personal level to see Mages displacing ADCs and the unfolding crisis of the players. I cant overstate that. But I feel the problem is somewhat over-stated. In a kill-lane or simply when facing a mage, I feel the support player is what is going to make or break the lane for the ADC. He becomes the key.

A competent Enchanter will turn the lane into a stalemate, and a competent Thresh, Pyke, or Nautilus will spoonfeed me to his ADC. There's nothing worst than a support player that become fearless and understand when he will outtrade. And if the lane becomes a stalemate, the game is basically close to lost.

From my perspective thats how it stands today. I still get fucked up by a Morg and Cait that'll chain CC me, or an Ezreal that I just cant catch. Or a Twitch that'll mow our team down being 1/7 but with 3 items.

Something I'll concede is that Mages have it too easy in the early game; Lost Chapter is overtuned, and coupled with runes we dont really need to think about managing mana anymore, and that needs to be fixed. Good game design means the player needs to do meaningful choices and Mages right now can just autopilot their build into lvl 6-7.

Lost Chapter should lose either lots of AP, or Cooldown entirely. At a minimum. Catalyst should become a more viable option, and should open up into more interesting things than RoA.

Likewise, maybe ADCs could adapt and experiment with more defensive options in the early game. Doran Shield into Defensive boots, why not? Resolve runes maybe? It would go a long way, and wont diminish the powerspike you'll reach one you have your 3-4 items. I know the game is in jeopardy when the Vayne builds Jakshoo. Thats how I know I'm dealing with a smart player.

Anyway thats my two cents.

AI not deploying units and units not moving toward assigned front; bug?

Mods are Expert AI, and various "better divisions" mod, which is a collection of mod meant to improve divisions and AI behavior.

I've had these mods for a while but the mentioned bugs have been fairly recent.

In my game as Changeling, it is may 1011 and Equestria only had 25 units in the field, and Staliongrad about the same....

Is this normal?

Sionmains: how does it feel to play against Sion?

I’m asking because I tend to favor a macro-intensive play style, split pushing and always being on cue at objectives. But sometime I feel extremely ineffective.

Then sometime I play against a dedicated Sion player, and it feel exhausting and tiring to simply try to keep up with the hyper-mobile unkillable tank.

How does it feel for you?

Bonus question; which role exclusive top is the best for split pushing? What about support?

Effects on Equestria of Changeling war against Olenia and the Bears

See title.

As Changeling I usually cut through Equestria like a hot knife through butter, and I play with mods, Elite difficulty, and slightly buffed AI. I tried looking at it through different way; sometime I launch an early war, sometime a late one (1014), but it doesnt change much; Equestria rarely got more than 60 divisions at beginning of the Great War and they never recover from the initial blitzkrieg.

Help me understand; is there a mechanic where world tension, or wars against Olenia and the Bears, are supposed to kickstart the Equestrian AI into mobilizing? Because the issue might be that I dont wait long enough after taking the Bears and Olenia and I dont give Equestria a chance to mobilize.

No AS speed build?

Just entertaining a thought.

What if your only AS item was Rhunnan, and only because you can hit multiple targets.

So you go

Collector
IE
Rhunnan
LordDominik
Bloodthirster.

Is it still good?

Plane scene in the movie; good wall art potential?

I’m middle-aged and that frame of the dark jumbo plane silhouette over the crowded yet lonely city, always hit me with a wave of nostalgia. Even tho I haven’t seen the movie in well over a decade.

Heck, for me, this scene/frame is the definitive image symbolizing anime of that era.

I was wondering if a HD print of it would make a great wall art. After all, they say “every frame a painting” and animes of this era were all gorgeous. Would there be a way to get a very HD of that scene?

End of summer 2026 rally?

Few questions:

1- do Uranium stocks tend to rally by September? Does historical data support this?

2- should this year be the same?

3- if so, what stocks are great candidate to time this volatility?
