I’ve been trying to find one of these for forever and I cannot find one for sale anywhere.
It’s an old mechanical coin purse where the face actually opens its mouth and “eats” the coin when you push the ear. I’ve seen them called mechanical coin eating purses, German coin purses, etc. Some have the DRGM marking.
I’ve found a bunch of pictures and sold listings, but I cannot find one that I can actually buy right now.
Does anyone know where I could find one of these? I’m specifically looking for this face with the moving mouth.
I would really appreciate any leads.

Received a vandor snow globe that wasn’t looking its best. I restored it the best I could— working on giving it a halo next!

I purchased a snow globe that had this music box in it. I am not willing to return the music box because it’s extremely rare. The listing does not mention that the music box was rusted either. The song name is Aquarius and apparently it’s not easy to find. The box is made by Sankyo Japan

I somehow got incredibly lucky today and found this Kodak Retina IIIc at Goodwill, only paying $13.19 for it. I collect vintage cameras, but they’re usually display pieces. I shoot with DSLRs, but I know very little about vintage film cameras. This one really caught my eye, and I’d love to learn how to use it.
It came with the original Retina case, a leather carrying bag, two supplementary lenses, and one small accessory that I can’t identify (pictured).
I was hoping someone could answer a few questions:
Does the Retina IIIc require a battery, or is it fully mechanical?
What type of film should I use?
Do I need a handheld light meter, or is there another way to meter with this camera?
How do I use the two supplementary lenses? Do they simply screw on, or is there anything else I need to know?
What is the small accessory in the photo, and what is it used for?
If anyone owns a Retina IIIc, I’d love to see some photos you’ve taken with it!
I’m excited to give this camera a try, so any beginner tips are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone might be able to help me find this Moonlight Manor black wizard frog from TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I’ve called every store within about an 80 mile radius of the Philadelphia, PA area and haven’t had any luck.
Last year, a kind person was able to find the purple version in store and have it held for me, which saved me from paying the crazy reseller prices. I’m really hoping I can get just as lucky this year.
I’m located near Philadelphia and I’m more than willing to drive anywhere in Pennsylvania or New Jersey to pick him up. I haven’t posted here in a while, but I wanted to show you guys this set I got one late night maybe a month ago! It had to have been about 3 AM LOL! I got hella lucky!

As you may or may not know, homegoods/marshalls/tjmaxx came out with these sun and moon ornaments back in December of 2025 and I quickly stanched up a box! I had seen a TikTok celestial creator add these to their shelf and I thought it was so fascinating! With the time I finally had, I went to Walmart and got some hooks so that I finally add these guys to shelf! This corner isn’t as jaw dropping as the creators, BUT I think this looks amazing with the limited space I have ☺️🥺
Thinking about repainting this wall too 🤔

Just picked up this celestial thermometer + clock! I was on the hunt for this when I saw it on TikTok a while ago but Google wasn’t very helpful in telling me how to find it. Patience genuinely does pay off though! That even goes for the blanket too! Someone snatched up this blanket for $15 that was in my area but a little while later another one showed up and of course I bought it IMMEDIATELY!!! This was a good week

I recently picked up this genuine Lava brand lamp secondhand. We had to replace the power cord before I could even test it, but while I was looking it over, I remember thinking the wax didn’t look quite right. It looked different from my other lamps, and I had a feeling it wasn’t going to behave normally.
For context, this is my 4th vintage lava lamp, and I’ve owned 7 lava lamps over the years, so I’m pretty familiar with how the wax is supposed to look and flow. Of course, I could be wrong, which is why I’m asking for opinions.
The lamp has the correct 40W bulb, and the coil is sitting flat on the bottom. There’s a thick coating of wax that stays on the coil and doesn’t seem to melt or flow off. After about 2 hours of running, almost all of the wax floats to the top of the globe and stays there instead of cycling back down.
The cold wax also has a porous, grainy appearance compared to my other lamps, which is what caught my attention from the start.
Has anyone seen this before? Does this look like wax that’s deteriorated from age or improper storage, or is there a chance it’ll improve after a few complete heat and cool cycles?

Michaels just came out with their new Halloween line and it’s celestial themed! They have some really good products this year.

I will post a video on my TikTok (themoonwisp) with pricing of some of the items if anyone is interested in knowing this information. Not all Michael’s stores have this out yet. I had to drive an hour to one of the Michael’s get this mirror.
