So, since I noticed that Smart Charging does not let the 12V battery charge past 60% and it was always chronically depleted, I got concerned and started researching. As some people suggested, I disconnected the battery from the Smart Charger, and for the first time ever, I saw my 12V battery reach 97% charge.
Then I noticed that the SOC dropped from 85% to 48% in just 3 hours. I got stressed out because that is definitely not normal. Then I remembered that I have a dash cam with a parking mode.
I had never noticed such a huge drop in SOC because parking mode has a safe shutoff feature that turns the dash cam off when it detects low voltage. Since my battery was chronically depleted, the safe shutoff was probably kicking in very quickly. But now that the battery was fully charged, the dash cam was able to run in parking mode for much longer and depleted a significant amount of the battery.
I immediately turned off parking mode, and I noticed that the battery no longer depletes significantly, except for a few percent, which seems normal.
So, if you have parking mode enabled, check it and see how much it is draining your battery. I believe parking mode has different settings/modes, and I’ll be testing how they affect the battery. Just keep in mind that a dash cam can draw a significant amount of energy from the 12V battery.

I got this Specialty Dinner for 2 from Royal Caribbean. A few restaurants are excluded, and one of them is Izumi Hibachi. However, it looks like there’s also Izumi Sushi, which isn’t mentioned in the terms of the coupon. Do you think I can use it for Izumi Sushi?

I’ve owned my 2026 NX for about 6 months now, and I know people say that when you buy a new vehicle, you eventually get used to it and it doesn’t feel as exciting anymore. But every time I see a picture of an NX online, whether on this subreddit or somewhere else, or another NX passes me on the road, I’m like, “Do I really own this beauty?”
Gosh, I hate the monthly payments, but this car is just the best. I know there are fancier cars out there, but I love my NX more than anything.

Why would they transfer my mortgage to Bilt? Can anyone explain the reason? I had a great experience with UWM, so I don’t understand why this was necessary. What was the purpose of the transfer? Is there any way to reverse it and move back to UWM?

My HOA allows smoking on balconies, but when my downstairs neighbor smokes, all of the smoke comes into my living room if my sliding door is open. I keep the door open during the summer and this has become a constant issue.
The neighbor knows that it bothers me but has not been willing to help find a solution. Since the HOA allows smoking, is there anything else I can do? They frequently smoke different substances that create a very unpleasant smell.
Shouldn’t I also be able to enjoy fresh air in my own home?

I did a small deal that required me to invest $10,000. I do not have $10k in cash, so I bought it using my credit card and also earned 10,000 points.
Now I need to pay off this credit card, and I have two options:

1. Sell my stocks and pay it off, but lose the potential gains from the stock market.

2. Do a balance transfer to another credit card that offers 0% APR for 12 months, but it has a 5% transfer fee, meaning I would lose $500.

I expect to get my $10k back within about 6 months. So the choice is either a guaranteed $500 loss from the balance transfer fee or the potential stock market gains/losses over 6 months.

Which option would you recommend?

I am planning a 10-day vacation in mid-September to Miami, Orlando, and the Caribbean. I know September is peak hurricane season, so I'm wondering how likely it is that my trip could be significantly affected or even canceled because of a hurricane.

We'll also be driving from Miami to Orlando. I'm a confident driver, but I get very uncomfortable driving in extremely heavy rain. I'm from WA, where we mostly get light drizzle, so I don't have much experience driving in intense downpours. Is this something I should be concerned about in mid-September, or is it usually manageable?

Wanted to visit Olympic National Park soon and since it’s far from Seattle, I thought about stopping in nearby cities. I was surprised to see how expensive the hotels are in Port Angeles and other nearby towns $300+ per night is crazy. Is there anywhere I can stay for less, besides camping in a tent?

I finally reached 2.4mg after all these months. I have lost 0 lbs. I recently started strict diet and going to the gym almost daily and I’ve lost a couple of pounds, but I constantly feel hungry. Yes, I can’t eat a lot in one sitting, but I get hungry again within 30 minutes.

I only see results if I struggle with hunger for days and exercise consistently. Should Wegovy make my hunger go away? Because diet and exercise alone can make people lose weight anyway.

Is anyone else struggling with this?
