Anything fun to do here for the youth?

I’m 27m based in Dubai and my family just moved here, so i often come to visit, I think the nature here is beautiful and I’ve been going on walks.

But I was wondering what do people in 20s do here, don’t they get bored? I know there are the best universities here and many students move here for studies, so I was wondering what they do in their free time.

Feel free to dm me if you have any recommendations or thoughts as I’m also trying to make friends from the city!

Made a WhatsApp group for people in Dubai (20–30) who want to meet new people & do activities

Noticed a lot of people in Dubai feeling lonely or struggling to make friends, so I created a WhatsApp group for people 20–30 to meet up, play sports, board games, start book clubs, share knowledge, etc.

It’s already pretty diverse and roughly 50/50 guys and girls.
Pm me if you’d like to join! 🙌

I 28M was telling my 28F partner how to act in public

I 28M with my partner 28F of 5 years relationship recently met up with friends to watch a sports event outdoors. The friend who made the reservation booked us an outdoor spot, but it was extremely hot and humid. Half the group had seats under a fan, while the rest were suffering in the heat, so some of them left early.

At our next outing with the same group, when we went to watch a movie, my partner brought up the previous gathering and confronted them. She told them it wasn’t nice that they left early and called them “princesses.” Keep in mind, some of these people we don’t even know that well. One of them is a friend’s wife who is very shy and doesn’t speak our common language much.

I felt embarrassed, and the mood immediately shifted. Things got tense and awkward for everyone.

On the drive home, I told her it wasn’t a big deal. They were uncomfortable and had every right to leave.

She blew up at me. She said I was controlling, that I “always do this,” and that she wants to leave the relationship. She seemed genuinely insulted that I didn’t back her up.

For context, this feels like a recurring pattern. She often says things to my friends that are too private or too confrontational.

And the problem is she doesn’t know them that well to be confronting them like this. Just like this group, where I met the wife of my friend for the first time.

Am I insane?

I have an old instagram account that I won’t to delete and can’t get access to

Is there a way to mass report it or something? I posted things I’m not proud of when I was much younger and don’t want to keep it online.

How do I fund eToro from my USD bank account instead of AED? (UAE)

I have two HSBC current accounts — one in AED and one in USD. On eToro’s “Fund Your Account” screen, the deposit currency is locked to AED and my only connected bank is the AED one.

I want to deposit directly from my USD HSBC account so I’m not getting hit with AED→USD conversion/transfer fees every time. But I don’t see any option to switch the funding currency or add the USD account.

Has anyone managed to connect a USD account in the UAE? Is it a setting I’m missing, or does eToro just force local-currency funding here?
