I can completely understand why Wigan protected players with Wembley next week, injury concerns and potential suspensions hanging over the squad. I've just taken an old folding ironing board from my gran’s house and noticed the "rest" area has a thick, greyish-white pad for the iron to sit on. The house was built in 1965 and this thing looks original. I know asbestos was used in oven gloves and textiles back then, but is it common to find it in ironing board pads too? It’s started to fray at the edges so I’m a bit cautious about using it now.
