Hello,
About a year or so ago, I had some of my items on etsy via a local co-op. It was simple-they ran the page and several of us had things for sale on the etsy page. I didn’t know much about etsy, but it seemed like a nice way to expand beyond my local arts and crafts fairs.

Eventually the shop was shut down. I guess some people had made some Labubu parody shirts or stuffies (I don’t know) and the entire shop was shut down. Unfortunate but no biggie for me.

I am now thinking of starting my own store. I’m worried that if I sell items that were on this old shop’s page it will look like a duplicate account. Maybe I’m overthinking.

Should I reach out to Etsy before I launch my shop? I’m not sure what info to supply them with, other than showing that my shop has a different owner,name,address, etc.

The movie has been out long enough and gathered enough reviews prompting Google’s automatic AI search result to share key plot details in its summary.

Up until as recently as yesterday, the AI results pulled up theater listings.

I recently lost one of my parents and it’s just hitting me now. I’m an adult, he and I had a great relationship, we spoke two days before he died. It was very sudden, natural causes, last month.

He was a step parent, but he and my mom broke up about four years ago. I don’t want to comfort her, she wasn’t kind in the divorce. She resented that he and I stayed in touch.

But I also feel now more than ever that time is short and maybe I should set that anger aside. But also the anger is valid?

I don’t know where to put all these feelings and I think I just wanted to share.
I have people, including a therapist, to talk to IRL. It’s just a lot

I want to start by saying that I have not seen the leaked footage. This post has zero spoilers.

This post is about animation and film production.

A friend of mine that I used to work with in game dev (he left for a computer animation studio) was unlucky enough to happen across the “leaked final episode” in his feed before he knew what was up.

However, he reached out to me and I think what he said may be helpful to many of us:

Hey so TikTok jump scares me this morning with screener footage from TADC Last Act. Like, don’t go looking for it because I know you hate ANY spoilers but if you see it by accident, like I did, don’t worry too much.

What I saw was not in any kind of cohesive chronological order (yes I stayed to watch in for a penny in for a pound bite me) but there’s no order to the footage, there is temp music stubbed in, and temp 3D artwork. This is marked as an accessibility screener so my guess is that this is their animation effects reel along with some dialogue and a bit of context.

You’ll like this. During the most important of scenes there is no character dialogue. Just like we used to do. So that bright light effect could be anyone*
Anyhow, may the gods be ever in your favor.

What he said makes sense to me, and I hope it provides anyone else that was jump scared with a bit of relief.

In games we create these too for reviews and accessibility tests. Usually called a vertical slice— there are characters, VO, and *effects in there that will never be seen by a player- but we need them for other reasons like testing/reviewing.

I think whomever leaked this, leaked a vertical slice without knowing.

Not asking as part of a conspiracy theory, but asking in case I missed something.

Through episodes 1-8 we learn a lot about the characters as an audience. But we also see that the characters know very little about each other— and they comment on it.

No one knew Zooble’s professions

It seems like only Pomni knew about Kinger’s wife

No one knew about Ragatha’s past (butt Jax did know her fear of centipedes)

Zooble and Gangle act as though they have a brand new budding relationship

I’m just not sure if I missed something about the timeline?
