Budget laptop 600 usd and under for playing Sims 4

Budget: ($600)
Country: (USA)
Use Case: (Gaming — Sims4)
Preferred Specs: (Best allowed within the budget, but I'm thinking 16gb ram, 4ghz cpu, nvme, 4+ cores)
Notes: (I did find this laptop but I don't know if it's the best for the value or if theres something thats cheaper with better specs

Acer Aspire Go 15 Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 5825U - 16GB DDR4 RAM - 512GB SSD (NX.JQJAA.002) - I found this on Newegg. I'm worried about the lack of dedicated graphics and if that'll be an issue with sims 4.

Just trying to have good performance with under 600 dollars for sims 4 that also works well with the expansion packs.

Cannot function

I'm 26, I have been stuck in retail hell for 10 years and cannot manage to get a better job, everybody judges me, working with ex girlfriends friends at my grocery store job who talk shit about me. I have a useless degree, social skills are terrible, broke, no car, parents want to evict me because of rage issues that I cant get under control, losing health insurance, I have no network, dont know anybody outside family, I want to work in IT which a like a lot but lack skills and struggling to focus on learning them due to chaotic mental health, very disorganized and cant get my shit together, cant focus. I slide in and out of good and bad moods multiple times a week because of bipolar and cant seem to stay permanent with any goal, I hate therapists because they are patronizing, job services are also patronizing and giving me shit about my social skills and not helping, extremely anxious cant talk to people, one day I can study a lot, the other Im depressed and going crazy, everybody hates me (especially my mom who hates me even more since I couldnt keep myself under control after she got cancer diagnosis), has anybody had success with these problems. I think Im gonna be homeless. Really stuck

If I get a retail sales associate job, how easy is it to transfer into Geek Squad?

Hello, I've applied for 4 GS jobs and got none, so I'm thinking to apply for retail sales and if I can get that move into GS. It seems really hard to get into GS. How easy is it to move into GS from retail sales associate?

Does anyone have good ideas for this? im thinking just to add card draw ramp and tutors then a bunch of card combos that end the game in a draw. Or something more interesting than that if you have ideas. im thinking a 5 color commander for this even better if the commander itself can combo to end in a draw

How long should it take to slice meat in the deli

My first day was yesterday, I panic because I'm too slow and customers are waiting for like 8 minutes for me to slice their 30 pieces of cheese. I kept losing count, I put 5 slices on a plastic sheet and put them all on top of each other so they wouldn't stick for a total of 30, and it took forever. How long should I take.

Long division doesn't really work for some problems?

If I divide 263/41, with long division, I end up with 263 all over again after subtracting 0 twice. Is there a long division trick to get around this?

Because it seems there is no point in long division for some problems because you just end up with a loop of the same number because after subtracting 0 twice, I am again left with the problem of "how many times does 41 go into 263, which is what I started with. Is there a way to solve this easier?

Is the 31 days Before Your CCNA exam book still good for the current version?

Is this book still good for the current version? It says 200-301, but in the description it says it's for the CCNA Routing and Switching which is retired from what I understand. It's also published in 2020 before the current exam release.

And a separate question, I was going to schedule my CCNA for December 2026 or January 2027 because I was going to do Security+ first, so is that wise or will the current version likely retire by then? Just worried about choosing the right resources for the respective exam version.

Thanks, here's the link to the book I'm talking about.

Struggling with depth when answering interview questions

Hello, I struggle with giving detailed answers to questions in interviews, I tend to be very surface level with my answers... Like I was asked when I was given feedback about a task and and how I handled it and I couldn't think of anything and I basically just said "I was told I wasn't completing enough tasks on the list so I worked on my time management better and practice more self awareness and intention in my work"... that is barely even an example. All my responses are like that, just vague, feels like I can't help it... Does anyone know how to be a little more detailed than just a few words?

Whenever I submit a GS application, it submits my video interview from my first application

Hello, I submitted another GS application and I got a notification saying "thanks for completing the video interview", which I never did, so I'm guessing it used my last video interview. I completely flunked that interview and there's no way I'm going to get a job with that recording. Does anyone know how I can resubmit an interview?

Resource that will teach up to A1

Hi, I looked at the FAQ but I didn't get a good idea of which one of those can do this best.

I'm looking for a short resource that I can kind of look over and learn the basic words and grammar so I can go straight into reading afterwards.

Nothing too fancy just something simple to build the initial foundation for reading. I looked at the harper collins 3 in 1 but thats 680 pages and I want something a little simpler. Trying to avoid duolingo and similar apps Im not a fan. Thanks

Hello, I'm building a PC for my dad and I know it may be impractical to build it because I could buy one for cheaper, but this is just a hobby.

I'm building this for light tasks such as video conferencing and basic usage on windows. Nothing fancy, I was thinking to do that 200 dollar microcenter bundle which is listed in the part list.

I probably don't even need a GPU but I put it in there anyway.

Is this a good build? Is there anything I should change? Preferably to make it cheaper if possible. Only thing I'm trying to keep for sure is the case. Anything else can change.

There's no option for it on pc part picker that I can find, but the case is lian li a3

I don't yet have an IT job and I'm worried if I schedule classes at the community college I am going to have a hard time finding a job because of availability constraints. Should I get the IT job first? Or what availability is best for classes? Are employers going to be flexible with availability? I'm trying to work full time in IT and attend classes part time for CS or Engineering. What's the best way to go about balancing the two? I'm hesitant to get the IT job first, because my grocery store job will reimburse me for classes while I look for an IT job...I also really don't want to do WGU or similar. I looked into post bacc programs and I'm not a fan.

To preface I’m trying to learn computer repair so I’m not going to take it into a professional and genius bar already said they cant do anything.

A while ago I tried fixing this because the screen wouldn’t turn on and I managed to log in with the external monitor and I went to display settings and I screwed everything up.

Months later I’m trying again and I can’t figure out how to get in. I was thinking to boot into recovery mode but I’m not sure what to do from there in terms of fixing the screen on the mac and the orientation. I think it’s an intel mac from around 2018-2019 but I’m not sure. (It’s my mom’s computer)

I see posts on reddit asking about it in the past 2 years, but its not listed in the current objectives so I'm not sure, does it fall under some other category in the objectives? It was in the last version of A+ too.

Everything in this video was making sense until he started talking about authoritative DNS servers, its like hes speaking a foreign language now.

I've googled, looked at multiple explanations, asked AI, and I still don't get it. I don't understand what a zone is, or what the authoritative server is doing in relation to the zone, or what the non authoritative server is, he's saying things like cache and TTL which I know what they are more or less, but I cannot get the full picture. That chart on the slide also makes no sense. Can someone please help me understand this.

It starts at 8:36 if anyone wants to look. Professor messer video.

I'm a little confused how ICMPv6, NDP, and SLAAC all work together. Is ICMPv6 just the broadcast mechanism thats used to detect routers which falls under NDP, which then assigns the device an IPv6 address which is SLAAC? ICMPv6 is an auxiliary protocol from what I understand that operates under NDP, but I'm a little confused about the relationship between these 3.

So for /27, there is a network portion, a subnet bits portion, and a host portion, but if the first 27 bits are the subnet mask, why is it necessary to create a separation between subnet bits and a network portion if all of that is the subnet mask? Most resources Ive seen dont even say anything about subnet bits, now that Im seeing it I am questioning my whole knowledge of subnetting. Because now there is something in between host and network

I am super confused. Been stuck on subnetting for weeks. Ive already used subnetipv4.com and he doesnt talk about subnet bits at all, whereas messer goes into detail. They are trying to describe the same concept are they not?
