Since it has the properties of rubber (and gum), and rubber is a really good insulator for electricity, would Kashimos lighting charges not affect him? Same thing with Killua
I'll preface this by saying that I do like Garth Ennis, he's probably one of the most genuine and unapologetic comic book writers there exist and Preacher is one of my favourite series period, but I feel like for every amazing series he does he then turns around and writes the most 14 year old, unsupervised internet restriction, edgelord, DOG SHIT you can imagine, and this here is pretty much the biggest representative of it.
To give some context, the series takes place in a world in which a virus known as "The Crossed Plague" infected most of humanity and destroyed human civilization, unlike any typical zombie virus, the crossed plague causes people to become sadistic monsters who look to kill, cannibalize and rape any living being they find, each installment follows a group of survivors trying to survive.
And that's it, this one paragraph can pretty much summarize the entire plot of every crossed series, it goes: backstory/beginning of the apocalypse, group of survivors, survivors die one by one, gruesome ending. That's IT, it's the exact same formula for every book spliced with the most gruesome shit imaginable, and thats not inherently bad but the series does it SO MUCH that after like the third time you just gloss over it because you just want to get back to the "story".
I said it in quotation marks because calling it that would be an insult to any actual storyteller, every single character is either the biggest scumbag imaginable or just a regular dude that gets gruesomely killed like 5 pages in, both of them have the writing depth of a glass of water, but you know what actually boiled my blood about the writing, the fact that the entire message of the series is pretty much: "Umm actually the humans are the REAL bad guys, not the crossed, bet you've never heard that one before huh".
This is the only series I can confidently say has no redeeming qualities and that you are genuinely better off not reading, the writing is shit, the characters are shit, that art is fine and then proceeds to nose dive in quality, everything about it is SHIT, and you know what's the worse thing? It's not even fun to read, honestly, the best thing you can do with these books is close them, sell them and use that money to buy a The walking dead omnibus.
Is he stupid?
Like if the C-Day happened in real life the military would probably have it under control in a few weeks top, they would probably quarantine any infected city and advice people to bunker down in their homes and to stay away from any person with a cross on their face, afterwards they would probably kill any crossed group wandering and have the CDC take samples in order to develop a vaccine
This isn't powerscaling btw this is just my idea of what would happen
Here's the scenario:
All the Gantz teams around the world are notified of the oncoming arrival of hive fleet Behemoth (the one in the pic) to the Earth, they have the same amount of time to prepare as they did with the Alien giants and free access to any of the Weapons or vehicles, alongside the help of the Earth's military forces for backup
Realized this after seeing a previous post talking about if the average person could survive against a crossed in close combat, and a lot of the comments were talking about the crossed as if they were some kind of unstoppable terminators when in reality they are closer to crackheads with weapons.
The main point that people brought up was the fact that the crossed feel no pain and will just keep going after being injured, which is somewhat a problem if you're not aiming for any vital point like the torso or the head but it also means that any deep enough wound will also cause them to bleed out to death or get an infection after leaving them untreated for too long.
To not make the post too long I'll give my 3 reasons as to why I consider them generally weak at fighting:
They just don't have any skills, 99% of crossed were regular people before they got infected, even if they got some kind of military training beforehand the virus more than likely deluted their abilities and made them far more sloppy and careless.
They have no protection, most of the crossed are actually in rags or whatever clothes they were in when they turned, meaning they don't have any actual protection from weapons or even the weather.
A lot of the crossed are sickly, malnourished or crippled, their diet only consists of uncooked human meat, if the kuru disease doesn't kill them it would weaken them, also a lot of the crossed are crippled or have previous wounds from getting infected that would make them a slower target.
Your best bet on how to beat one is to first get some durable layered clothing like leather or jeans, you could also reinforce it with some other material like on that one train to Busan scene to prevent getting bitten, you should also get some gloves and a balaclava to prevent getting any fluids in your mouth.
For a weapon I would use a spear, they are easy to make with just a stick and a hunting knife taped to the tip, they are easy to use and let you attack at distance without being in direct danger.
I don't really know any other clue about it except for the fact that it's a piano song and that it's probably quite old, I only know it from this one video
Could Hisoka theoretically do like Spider man swing himself from building to building? Could he create Bungee gum spiderwebs to trap people in (though that would require emission nen)? After he created his Bungee gum prosthetics could he do like Luffy and stretch his limbs?
I swear to god I've seen it in other media but this is the only one that I remember and ive always wondered what this weird axe thing is even called
If it has the same restrictions as Takabas Technique, I.e not having knowledge or true control over it then i can see it possible
It just makes more sense from a writing perspective IMO if they are some of the strongest nen users the Hunter association could find but then again it's Togashi so he might subvert the trope
Ranking systems are always pretty cool when done well so I wanted to know what you guys ideas were like
Been looking at them for a while since they seem to be much cheaper here in Spain since they are made here and I wanted to know if anyone who has used one can give an opinion

In the world I'm building there is an Invisible energy source created by the planet that permeates the entire world known as Ether, it is the energy that all living beings need to live and utilize their magic.
What separates humans from the rest of entities that exist in the world is that they are the only ones composed of the three foundations: Mind, body and soul, each one a vital component that forms a human existence and as such must be trained and developed to truly reach its full potential.
Each foundation has their own training methods and techniques which can help the user advance to a higher realm of power, in eastern countries there's the saying: "Body tempering, Qi condensation and Mindful enlightenment are the steps necessary to reach the Dao".
Physical training is the simplest and most common foundation to train and the one that most people start their training with, the primary method is through the use of martial arts and weight training, by carefully refining each muscle group in the body the user is capable of drawing a greater strength when reinforcing their body with Ether.
With the knowledge of martial arts a magician is capable of maximizing their deadliness in close quarters combat without the cost of casting any greater magic.
It's also common place for people to use alchemical potions or pills to advance the training process significantly but it is a risky method as over reliance on them can lead to addiction and other side effects so not many people choose to use them.
Spiritual training focuses on the manipulation of Ether absorbed from the environment inside the users body, Ether manipulation refers to the ability to be able to freely manipulate Ether and channel it for certain applications, it is the most basic skill that people learn when utilizing magic but it's not something that people intrinsically know so it requires training.
When someone has become acclimated to controlling the flow of their Ether they'll learn the ability of Ether sensing and reinforcement, sensing refers to the ability for someone to perceive another beings flow of Ether even without using any of the five senses, a skilled person could gauge someone's strength from their flow of Ether and even distinguish people from their Ether signature.
On the other hand, Ether reinforcement refers to the ability to strengthen physical attacks is an essential ability for anyone in a true fight, this is why the physical training is such a vital process for magic users, since reinforcement serves a as a strength multiplier to the users physical abilities, it is better for them to be physically strong already.
It's also important to note that there are four important factors to determine a person's ability in Ether control:
-Ether absorption: How much Ether can be absorbed from the environment
-Ether output: How much Ether can be expelled in a single attack
-Ether reserves: How much Ether can be stored inside a person's body
-Ether efficiency: How much Ether is used in a spell, it refers to minimizing the amount of energy a spell needs to use in order to produce the same effects
The principal way for people to train their spiritual abilities is through breathing techniques, regulating the amount of Ether that flows into their body and letting it flow more effectively, advanced users of this foundation usually train in environments with a lesser Ether density, kinda like altitude training.
Mindful training refers to a person's skill in their own magical abilities and techniques, this foundation is the most esoteric and difficult to train as, since magical techniques are connected to a person's inner world, their mind and since every person's psyche is inherently different the ways they reach self reflection are different.
The training methods can vary, most people utilize meditation or long prayer sessions while others choose to go on self discovery journeys, what they all have in common is the fact that they all are means to reach the same thing, enlightenment (Moksha), it is said that once a person has reached this state of being they'd gain an entirely new understanding of their abilities, akin to having become one with the world itself.
This is also where the concept of a persons elemental affinity comes in, though they don't directly represent a persons abilities, I.e a person with the fire affinity won't shoot fireballs, they do serve as a way to know a persons magical talent and personality, this even more obvious for people who are born with an Imaginary element
I initially thought he would simply be a chaotic evil character due to his equal slaughter of both sides of avesta, but that wouldn't be completely correct as he doesn't have any true malice or enjoyment from what he did so he might be more close to Lawful or neutral evil though I'm not sure
