Why is it immediately assumed if somebody makes a mistake that they're an American?

For context this is on a video showing what alliances lasted the longest with each European Nation

Anyone else feel like a Call in SEAF stratagem should have been the Campaign reward

This isn't to hate on helmets cause they are pretty fun but continuing with bite sized rewards during the major title update campaign feels honestly kind of wrong. With the new SEAF update it also feels like the perfect time to add a Call in SEAF stratagem and make it what we fight for in the campaign. We could've also had it drop fully to the Requisition thing with the Supply FRV later on if AH had actually gone with this. Honestly it's just a missed opportunity and practically my only complaint with the new Update

Arachnids (Starship Troopers) vs Terminids (Helldivers 2)

I am asking who you think would win between the quick infesting Arachnids or their counter part the freedom hating Terminids

I really miss the old swamp so what if they added water biomes?

It could make water much more full of life and allow for huge amounts of new units. Along with that we could see water biomes such as coral reefs, or boiling hot water, enchanted water, constantly frozen water, water biomes with new stalactites everywhere, of course the OG swamp and even more.

A deeper look into the “Meta Control and Chessbox” dev update

The first zoomed out shows the fog of war feature in action but if we zoom in far we can see what looks like wood over a body of water. Now this is probably only my hope but could this be a bridge?

The second image is of course a new artwork but strangely it didn’t have any text to go along with it. Again this is just my hope but could this be for a teased economy rework?

I also want to draw attention to that they said “There's also stuff like the farm rework” which not much people discussed at all and had no accompanying picture so I wonder what could come as well a farm rework.

What are your thoughts on this?

Overhauled Technology Trees

Tech is now improved to have massive amounts of different advances now divided among 6 different tiers of tech. There must be 10 advances each time before they move onto another tier. Once they reach another tier all tech from the previous tier become 40% faster to research stacking up with more and more tiers. If a city within the same kingdom holds tech that another city in the nation doesn't have it becomes 40% faster to develop. The 5 tiers are tier 1 stone age, tier 2 bronze age, tier 3 silver age, tier 4 iron age, tier 5 mythril, and tier 6 adamantine age. Advances unlock the abilities to build many different things for a nation but cost resources to develop. Major advances are also among them which take even more resources to develop but are generally majorly important to nation this can include farming, medicine, schools, armies, steel, housing, city walls, cavalry, siege weaponry, boats, and more. Major advances also count for 2 more advances towards the next tier. The next tier is literally an advance being unlocking the ability to begin working on the advance of Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Iron, Mythril, and Adamantine items (the stone age is automatically open as the first advances but still tools are an early major advance.) Also yes this does allow for city walls to be made along with siege weaponry to go along with it and creates much more dynamic development.

What are your thoughts?

Age of Thunder

We haven't really seen new ages added so I want to throw out an idea. How about an age where we have just constant clouds going across the screen with mostly rain clouds and thunder clouds but an occasional chance for all the others. This seems to be easy to implement with ages that utilize clouds already existing and could be an interesting way to involve clouds more with gameplay

Careers and Economy

Straight Additions

Each unit now has 5 fully separated phases of life Infant (1-8), Child (9-16), Adolescent (17-26), Adult (27-69), Elderly (70-death) (Ps: These change on the average lifespan of the subspecies). There are some new stats when you click on a unit Cash (How much of their country's currency they have), Pathway (What their chosen career path is), Life Phase (What phase of life their age puts them in), Capability (How capable they are in their current pathway and if you click on the it, it shows a long list of how capable they are in every other career pathway), Enjoyment (How much they enjoy their career pathway and again if you click on it, it shows a long list of how much they would enjoy other careers). A new map button shows every country's different currencies names and how strong they are 1-100 which can depend on how much inflation the currency has, how much it used, and more. A new map button also shows how well countries are doing economically if they're Cashless (least), Uncertain (middle), Rich (most) with many other words for the economy such as Poor, Comfortable, or others in-between. There is also now a money cloud that rains money on people, a money rain that you can do yourself to make people rich, and even an age of success where careers are more likely to be successful, people get an effect making them until the end of the age more capable, and clouds rain money. A new map mode shows businesses and buildings they own, where people from businesses are, what the biggest business in a city is, and what the biggest business in a country is. New buildings include Universities and many various different job buildings. You can now also view where guild buildings are and what people they oversee.

How jobs work

This the basic power of companies from the kingdom to the average unit for the majority of jobs Kingdom -> City -> Guild -> Company -> Unit. During infant years jobs aren't even on a units mind, in child years a unit learns their different capabilities in different jobs, in adolescent years units get into jobs for their first time or try to majorly study for their chosen pathways, during adult years is when a lot of their life revolves around their career, and then Elderly usually they try to leave their job or sometimes reach an extremely high level. Guilds handle different things for a city from a trade guild to a military guild (goes straight Guild -> Unit) or so on. Different positions go up levels in pathways determining the income of the Unit. Schools also exist for Child units but generally can only be attended if they have a good relationship with their parents and the parents or they have enough money. Universities cost a lot for a nation to directly upkeep so they usually only exist in the capital and largest cities and only are available for adolescents who temporarily move there or live there. The jobs are the building blocks for the nation and are what support it and keep it strong.

How economy works

The economies of nations work off the currency of the nation, the resources within it, and generally how successful the nation has been. Cities with major resources or in the middle of areas with major resources can become trade cities where people from multiple places come to do their jobs more effectively. Economy works as an exchange system with currency becoming goods, buildings, services, resources, or more. They are a way for nations to thrive. Nations are also more prone to trade with allies and in their relations they now have a menu with others that shows tariffs, trade deals, or major pullbacks. This now changes how nations do diplomacy rather than just automatically declaring war when not even provoked tensions can rise through tariffs, embargoes, blockades, and many other things.

It's been quite a bit since the dev update is it possible we could have another?

I'm really hyped for this update and I would love another dev update on some of the other upcoming features

Can we have a primary senator

It seems like we’re missing out on a Heavy Pen Marksmen Rifle similar to the Senator. Maybe Heavy Pen as its strength and extremely low ammo as it’s drawback but it would definitely be a very popular weapon.
