You can actually do indirect/plunging fire with the HMGs like was done historically

Wikipedia page on the Vickers machine gun:

"The Vickers was used for indirect fire against enemy positions at ranges up to 4,500 yards (4,115 m) with Mark VIIIz ammunition. This plunging fire was used to great effect against road junctions, trench systems, forming up points, and other locations that might be observed by a forward observer, or zeroed in at one time for future attacks, or guessed at by men using maps and experience.... The only similar weapon of the time to use indirect fire was the German MG 08, which had a separate attachment sight with range calculator."

Technically this is a Maxim, but same family of weapons.

Eremika always and forever, but this also seems cute.

Maybe I just like seeing Eren being pathetic while a strong female character yells at him. That might also be why I loved seeing Armin (supposedly a guy) punch Eren in the face.

Frieren is small so she might have a speed advantage.

Is it just me, or was not taking this crystal along a missed opportunity?

They could have sold it for money. And if they actually needed magic to defend themselves, Stark could have thrown it far enough away so it didn’t affect them.
