Had my team complain they were being dove, so I figured ok I’ll try and help out.

I spent the few rounds grabbing the diver and trying to kill them. My team never targeted the diver in their most vulnerable, so the diver got away but nonetheless they left the strategists alone.

End of the match I end up with less final hits out of everyone because I spent the entire time looking after strats because no one else would.
“EMMA BAD REFUND UR CHAMPION ICON. GG TANK DIFF. LOOK AT OUR TANKS STATS LOL.”

I’m exhausted tbh. Look out for yourselves from now on because now I just cba. You’re being dove? Sounds like a dps’ responsibility.

I have absolutely no idea what to do with him. He feel incredibly situational to me… he’s such a large target, and I feel like his health drops so easily. I try and use cover when I’m taking too much damage but survivability feels shaky. Skill issue on my part? Or were his last nerfs quite devastating to him?

I’m usually an Emma main, however I can play Mag or Peni fairly well. But dino I just can’t grasp

Any advice or wisdom from you guys is appreciated 🙏

Im usually a vanguard main, but lately find myself playing strategist a bit more. I have plenty of hours and experience in it, so I would say I have decent survivability and good game sense. Always looking out for my co-strategist, and knowing when to ult at an appropriate time.

However, I feel like strategists get blamed an awful lot… Or is this just me? I feel like I’m setting myself up for the blame, because I’ll openly say “hey, it’s more damage than we can heal. Can someone go second tank” and it’s radio silence until the ‘defeat’ screen comes up, and I get hounded by a terrible dps

The reason why people were so nice back then was because we were all figuring the game out and was experiencing it together. We praised each other’s accomplishments when we did well, we encouraged each other to do better and play our favourite characters. I mean hey, people thought Scarlet witch was overpowered, and we believed wolverine & Magik were the worst characters in the game.

I’m not saying there weren’t any horrible people back then, of course there were… but no where near as bad as today’s community. How quickly the community took a nosedive after launch was genuinely shocking. First week it was mainly people with bad positioning blaming strategists, now we have people scanning the scoreboard after nearly every loss trying to find a scapegoat to explain the reason for the loss.

I know the community won’t ever be what it was, but I just think we should try and enjoy the game again. Give each other props where it’s due, instead of shaming the enemy for losing tell them what they did well. We don’t want to become as bad as LoL or the WoW community, we should be way more than that

I’m obsessed with the white and gold recolour. I don’t play widow, and the only summer skin I actually wanted was Emma’s… so I plan on supporting you guys by spending units on her new legendary :)

my aim isn’t great, but perhaps I can try her in quickplay or perhaps just stick to Town Square/Beach. Gonna try and bump up her costume “seen in ____ matches” stats 🙏

You guys deserve so much better. Season 0-1, if someone were asked who their most wanted rivals characters was, most of the time Ultron was mentioned.

From his kit to lack of skins, it really feels like the devs underestimated how popular he is. I really wish one day he’ll get the love he deserves, because right now I don’t think rivals did him justice at all.

Devil dino is for some reason *still* banned in every comp match. I experienced this with Emma, despite her being nerfed multiple times the people still continued to ban her even when she dropped to B/C tier.

Do not worry fellow Tank players, I really believe this will die down. What we’re seeing now is basically muscle memory/habit for a lot of people. Once they discover he isn’t as much of a threat as he used to be they will move their ban to someone more worthy

I just had a game where black cat was banned. See what I mean? People who either don’t read the patch notes or they underestimate the nerfs

I knew what road TCSM would head towards once the devs announced there wouldn’t be any holiday themed events for the sake of the ‘lore’

Personally I love events like these. If Halloween doesn’t have it, I think it’s going to chase people away around the holidays

Every time someone bans gambit now I just think oh.. it’s the “Emma Effect” it just means a character has been nerfed quite a few times, and people who suffer from PTSD when the character launched wholeheartedly believe the character is STILL overtuned.

Any thoughts on this?

Like 2-3 games in a row I’ve been blamed for the loss. I can’t really tolerate this game any longer, I think I need a break.

I had a team who assumed because I was champion Emma I could carry, in a team based game I couldn’t despite my best efforts. Did I end up with SVP? Yes, but that’s not enough

I tried strategist, I’m a champion invisible woman. For some reason a flanking Luna went unnoticed by my entire team despite me pinging her 10x. She was freezing and two tapping the c&d and I, we both really really tried to look out for each other and nothing. I got blamed again. Team just spammed “I need healing” and didn’t take notice of what we was going through.

I’m just so unbelievably tired of this game. I’ve been playing since the closed alpha, and the amount of people dog piling me constantly is getting so tiring. I’m not the best player, but I’m certainly not the worst. The past season I’ve been praised for my tanking, I’ve been praised after some games where I got mvp and felt like I carried… so why am I suddenly in a loss where I’m getting essentially bullied by my team and told I’m a liability and should delete the game?

I’m acc so tired. Don’t want to tank anymore, don’t want to heal. It really feels like either one I choose I’m going to get shouted at

I was playing Emma and my friend was playing Dino, we was trying to push the objective. Anyway, we could not survive for the life of us. The enemy seemed to have a decent amount of suppressing fire while we just had a phoenix and a Hela

The team dog piled us after we lost. The strategists said they couldn’t heal us because we should have constantly backed up when the enemy dino had his shield up… I was trying to utilise the cover when my health got too low but idk. I don’t see the benefit in constantly running back just because his shields up

Am I at fault here? Or should have the dps changed to more shield-melting characters like punisher/SG? It was the Tokyo map, so it should have been a fairly easy push

The team nameplates show up, I see two of them are matching names. E-Boy, and E-Girl (they had numbers in their names as well but not going to say).

My friend said “why do I have a bad feeling about those two” and it was odd because I thought the exact same thing.

Ban phase comes up, they both successfully ban invisible woman and c&d… third ban phase, they wanted to ban gambit.
It was the Dracula map, and everytime MK evades the ban phase here he runs the lobby. The team joins me and bans MK like I tried to twice before, he was successfully banned

The E-Girl has a meltdown, demands that I get off Emma and play gambit or she’s going to throw. Bare in mind these two were playing strategist, and I was tanking as Emma and a co-tank Peni..

I just said throw if you want, I’m not getting off my character. She said “fine. Have it ur way. Ur not getting any healing though” and proceeded to go on voice chat and say “6-7” and the bf joins in. Very irritating. What’s worse is these two sounded like full grown adults.

Anyway, we leave the spawn area and guess what strategists the enemy have? A mantis and a Jeff - she threw a tantrum for nothing. She didn’t heal me like she said she wouldn’t, she front lined as Luna and admittedly got a few kills, and ultimately we lost.
