Was anyone else a bit annoyed at how Lois was the only one at all showing interest in the *question*?

Everyone else just seems to completely accept that yes, Jon is indeed Clarc and Lois' son from the future and shows no interest at all in clarifying questions that I think just about everyone would be interested in. It makes sense that Clarc would notice that Jon is uncomfortable with answering questions and decide to let the topic be for now, but everyone else? Especially Jimmy, how can a conspiracy theorist not try to interrogate a TIME TRAVELER with a billion questions? But Jon doesn't really even have time to express discomfort, both times Lois actually gets the chance to ask him the question directly the topic completely passes by within seconds without Jon trying to deflect or Clarc trying to get Lois to let it rest for now. That all just felt like a *really* unnatural way to react to a time traveler showing up, especially one so closely tied to you personally. They spend almost an entire day together shopping and no one asks Jon even something small like "what is *product* or *media* like in the future?".

If anything it'd have been fun to see Jon trying to dodge such conversation.

What is the best way to read the original Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Of course back then there wasn't a myriad of tie-ins and side events that follow every modern crisis, but I imagine there're still some major and important happenings outside of the main crisis series itself, or at least some helpful context.

Do Gongsun Zan's quests (194) lead up to anything worthwhile? Considering sparing Yuan Shao for now, but can't find online what I may be missing out on by failing the quests.

In short, I am already fighting multiple people in different directions so a border with Cao Cao is the last thing I want.

Also yeah, i am using a lot of mods, but i don't think any of them affect what I am asking about.

Do you expect the Grey Lantern(s) to fade into obscurity or actually stick around and become permanent part of the GL lore? What characters would you want to become Grey Lanterns should they become an actual corps? [Master Comics #23]

The Weeper is a Bullet Man villain from the golden age whose entire gimmick was sadness. He had a gang called the Bitter Men for which he would hire only the goons with the saddest backstories (one of whom Weeper later killed for managing to find happiness), he would find parents of ww2 soldiers and tell them that their son was killed to rob them as they're grieving and etc. He's the most sorrow centered DC character I can think of and, more importantly, he literally kicks a puppy, there aren't enough supervillains who kick puppies in modern comics.

Edit: forgot to mention that Weeper's own sad backstory is just that he was a clown and got fired for being bad at his job

Why aren't Jefferson and Nevada getting integrated into my custom empire upon creation like all the other kingdoms I control?

What religion should I unite the West Coast as?

Decided to do a quick nostalgic return to the CK2 mod and Random Ruler landed me as Haida in Vancouver. It's a rather strong start and I just took my time raiding for a while, but now I have executed a Prepared Invasion of Jefferson in the middle of the continent, secured Gran Francisco via succession, have strong claim on the other Haida kingdom in the north, and have lots of imprisoned claimants for cascadian lands, so Pacific unification is nigh.

However, I can't decide what faith to go with. The character is cynical, so I feel justified in switching (I actually take roleplay a bit seriously). There are 3 real options:
1) remain in the native faith I won't even bother to try and spell the name of. It can be reformed, which is great, but after the invasion I think I'm mostly done with whatever unique content this faith had.
2) convert to Cetic. It is the faith of Californian emperors and it is my ambition to become one after all. Converting immidiately switches me to bureaucratic government with its own set of unique and costly mechanics. Roleplay wise I'm not sure if it makes sense to accept authority of emperor if my goal is to supplant him however. Not familiar with whatever Californian mechanics there are in CK2 at all.
3) convert to Gaian. It's the faith most of the Coast follows including my core lands on the Vancouver island. I kind of like it this faith the most, Theocratic Capitancy unique government seems simpler than buereaucratic and I can immidiately take "proclaim reincarnation of the General" decision (tooltip says it just gives 500 piety but I don't think that's right). The issue is roleplay however, I just don't think this character would cede any significant power to the priesthood.

Normally I would go with whatever faith offers some interesting longer term goals in the form of decisions or something like that, but unfortunately I just don't see anything of this nature at a glance in any of the 3 options.

Could someone help me make sense of all the Third Age TW versions out there and help pick which one should I play?

Every few years I return to Medieval 2, it is one of my favorite games of all time and large part of that are the mods. This time I want to dive a little deeper into Third Age, mod that I have tried before, but never actually played a complete campaign of. Problem is, there appear to be several different Third Ages and I have trouble choosing. Also, I'm pretty certain that all of what I see now isn't quite the same as the Third Age I had played years ago (and that might have been a different mod each time too).

I'm not necessarily looking for the "OG" version of the mod, whatever that may be, but I do care about balance and stability, something many M2 mods sometimes completely disregard in my experience.

Looking for Azutara fics that aren't Katara helping Azula heal/become a better person. Preferably the opposite actually.

I'm not 100℅ certain if Azula/Katara is considered a crackship or not, it's obviously not canon compliant in the slightest but there's a good amount of connections between the two and decent amount of fics shipping them. The actual dynamic I am looking for really does seem like more of a crackship though. Most Azutara fics I've seen so far are either just wholesome romance, hurtcomfort with Katara helping Azula or something along those lines (and of course some AU's so removed from source material that it is barely even an Azula/Katara fic), but I actually very much prefer Azula the way she is in most of the show, "crazy and needs to go down" all the way. I also have *always* been a fan of corruption arcs, so the ideal dynamic is that instead of Katara fixing Azula, Azula makes Katara worse, but that may be too specific.

So, in short I am looking for fics that portray Azula as strong and dominant (she can be vulnerable on the inside, that is fine as long as that's not most of her characterization), maybe even villainous. Actual contents matter less than this characterization, I'll take angst, I'll take explicit, I'll take problematic, I'll take smut, whatever, as long as it's Azula/Katara and it's not so long it'd take me several days to finish.

Is there any info as to why amrikiyyun faith was removed? It was one of my favorite faiths and, imo americanist syncretism faith are something the mod lacks in a bit, so its sad to see one of the few that we have get removed

I always preferred islam in Crusader Kings and americanism is obviously one of the more fun things about the settting, so I really want to know why amrikiyyun was removed in the newest update

What are the rules for AI recruitment in TROM?

I am REALLY loving TROM overhaul, battles used to feel like by far the weakest part of the game, but this mod really helped me love them, however, playing as Gongsun Zan in the 194 start I have now destroyed 2 armies full of elite tier units of Yuan Shao, only for him to raise 2 more in their place. Now, I'm not asking how he can afford this, that's just classic Total War AI, but all his generals are low level, far as I can tell they shouldn't even be able to recruit elite tier units, so how does that work exactly?

Challenging battles are fun, but if AI can hire endless armies of highest quality units, then that kind of necessitates cheesing to beat, which would negate all the fun from battles actually becoming fun to fight
