Vintage Red Wing Postman Restoration | Saved Instead of Replaced

I just finished restoring a vintage pair of Red Wing Postman Oxfords, and I thought this community would appreciate seeing them brought back to life.
Rather than trying to make them look brand new, my goal was to preserve the decades of character while giving the leather the care it deserved.
The process included:
Fiebing’s Saddle Soap
Penetrant No. 3
Saphir Créme Rénovatrice
Saphir Pâte de Luxe (Black)
Careful brushing and hand polishing
I’ve become fascinated by preserving quality footwear instead of throwing it away, and I’ve been documenting every restoration in a relaxing ASMR style.
I launched my YouTube channel in March, where I post full-length restorations every Monday and YouTube Shorts throughout the week. If you enjoy heritage footwear, leather care, and satisfying restorations, I’d be honored if you’d check it out and let me know what you think.
I’m also working on what will be my biggest project yet—a flagship Lucchese boot restoration premiering in mid-September.
Thanks for taking a look, and I’d love to hear what you think of the finished result or any tips from fellow Red Wing enthusiasts! 👞🪶

Beckman 9011 Repair & Restore

These came damaged with a heavy gouge in the toe box. I repaired the cut and preserved the heritage. Video comes to my channel Sept 28.
