I hate the current Sonic franchise and everything it stands for

I have counted and played 50 games in this franchise, the decline of quality in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise due to its identity crisis is a well documented event that has been known to the average gamer, but it's also a known fact that children are allowed to like whatever it is that comforts them and that's completely okay; so why is it that every time I dare to say I have been unable to enjoy its games for about 15 years now it's a law that I have to hear the phrase "Sega is doing their best, be grateful!". The words "be grateful" are supposed to be used when a kid throws a tantrum after receiving a gift he didn't like from his grandma on Christmas morning, not when you as an adult with limited time and money decides to not buy a half baked 70USD game from a company that could've absolutely afforded to spent more budget and time on it, when an incredible amount of other games provide a much more optimized and polished experience for either the same price or lower.

[PC?][2010-2026?] Marble in maze and reach the goal game that looks like this minigame from Kirby

I was scrolling insta reels and I came across a video of a guy playing a game that looked very similar to the tilt and roll minigame in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, but it's an original full game, I then accidentally refreshed the page and lost the video but it's essentially a marble in maze game with some obstacles, it didn't look too old so I think it's from after 2010 maybe, please help. It's not Kirby, I'm just using this image because it's the closest reference I could find.

There's an alt timeline out there where Sonic ended with Forces, no more arguments, no more lore discussion, no more fighting about games, just legacy

First time playing Prey, literally shat my pants seeing Nightmare, then I placed a turret and was reminded by how it's a Bethesda game as it patiently sat there for 45 minutes being killed

I even made myself some dinner in the meantime
