Buying dupes is emberrassing.
As I've been buying a shit ton of records lately, I found that I've ordered dupes three times now... Once in the same 24-hour span due to a lapse in reading comprehension. Just now I was looking for a record on Ebay, thought the seller rejected my offer, then immediately bought the record on Discogs for $5 less. Come to find out the seller actually accepted my offer, I just misread the print since the price was striked through/crossed out. Ugh. So now I have two copies of an out-of-print Mission of Burma record coming. I guess it could be worse, right? I should be able to flip one at cost, no problem.
Previously I did this for a preorder of Polygon Window where I bought both an available black vinyl version and a pre-order for clear vinyl. So I now own both. Cool, I guess...?
And before that, I did the same thing on Bandcamp several years ago where I bought a Messer Chups album twice. At least that record has gone up in price since, but I'll probably just hold onto it.
I feel like I'm losing my mind, haha. What's the worst that you've done? How many dupes do you own, and how many were on accident?
