Good lord, it was so loud! We are up near falls lake and 540

Usually we see harriers practicing, but this past week we got to see F35s! It was fantastic!!! I think that Cherry Point Marine Base is phasing out the harriers and replacing them with the F35s.

I couldn’t be there, I didn’t get a poster and I’ve always been jealous.

I didn’t know what to expect, but gaht DAMN, was it a blast!!!!

It’s going to be 99 here in Raleigh NC today. The new growth, on the top of the trees, are wilting a bit. Soil moisture is around 80%, as we got a pop up storm yesterday. I’m just hoping that the trees are in good shape. My daughter grew these from two seeds in the ground 3.5 years ago, when she was only 7.

One of my Chef buddies hooked me up with 100 local oysters out of Beaufort, NC. I made some mignonette sauce and some oysters Rockefeller for the family. We’re at the beach, so don’t judge the paper plates! 😂 (the crumpled up foil keeps the oysters from rolling around).

My BFF has a fine arts degree and came up with a medium where he combines cardboard, newspaper and various glues to come up with this super cool 3D relief design. His other designs are not Alien related. I am hoping he can showcase his other designed in a gallery one day soon. I thought this crew would appreciate it!

I work in food sales which is really competitive. We many times have to race to the lowest price to “win” business from our competitors. We got this email from management this morning. Not really that motivating.

This thing is MASSIVE!!!!! And I love it so much! It clips together and only uses one tiny screw to keep the tail on the base.

I mean, Spirit Halloween is on it! I didn’t expect this for a couple of weeks!
