Let's say the project has 30 tasks. When you skip through them to find one that suits you, are the ones you skipped lost to you forever? Or can you just keep skipping and circle back to the first one again?

Sometimes I find a task that *sort of* suits me, but I'd like to keep skipping to see if there's a better fit.

Can I somehow "go back" to a skipped task and claim it to work on (assuming it's still available)?

Been on the platform for about 4 months, working 10-20/hrs/week. Some generalist, some specialty domain.

Thus far, I've always just taken the first task that I can accomplish. Not even sure I'd want to spend the time to flip through 30 tasks and the not-that-great task might not even still be there. But I've wondered... TIA

DAT may be the only platform I've ever worked for where the pay rate went UP while I was actively working on a project… and they applied the increase retroactively to the hours I'd already worked on it.

When I started the task, the hourly rate was $X/hr. Hours later when I completed the very complex task and went to report my time, the hourly rate was $X + $2.

Color me pleasantly surprised!

Considering how many gig platforms are trying to squeeze every possible unpaid minute out of workers, I'm so grateful to be part of DAT.
