Playing supp really solidifies my hatred of ADC players

(It's not really a rant, but if you think it is, to my defense, it's the edge of Sunday where I live)

I am an emerald jungle main, transitioning to support, and as jungler, I always noticed that ADCs just tend to be more childish, give up faster, cry more, all that kind of crap

Recently I have started transitioning supp, and OMG, it's all true

The ADC will always complain on the smallest things

The ADC will give up the moment lose the first 2v2

The ADC will NEVER understand the most basic macro and recall when the wave is pushing in favor of him (meaning, he has more minions and the enemy's wave is just slowly dying, losing hundreds of gold)

I started typing this post, and stopped midwrite because my game started, and in this very game, the enemy jungler was invading our blue, so I left lane to help our jungler, and the adc had managed to died in those 30 seconds - and he was complaining ALL GAME about how I "inted the lane at lvl 3"

Should I update to rtx5070 if I have ryzen 5 5600X CPU?

Hey guys, I am almost 30, all my life, be it with desktops or laptops, every time I tried to change something more complicated than switching RAM in my PC, I broke something

My current PC has Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, which custom cooler installed on top, if I tried to swap it out to a different CPU, I am going to destroy it and end up buying a whole new PC instead, so that CPU stays no matter what

Should I upgrade my Rx7700xt to RTX5070?

They go into the same "slot" right? the RTX will fit a PC that previously housed the rx7700xt right?

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor 3.70 GHz

Installed RAM 32.0 GB

Graphics Card AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (12 GB)

Storage 1.82 TB HDD ST2000DM008-2FR102, 1.82 TB SSD Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB

Imposter syndrome after getting the degree + preparation for the first job

TL:DR I can't remember 90% of what I studied, and now that I am starting my first job I am feeling like an imposter, as if I lied in my resume (you can skip the rant, question is in the end)

RANT START -

Hey guys,

So a while back I used to work as IT helpdesk, and I left to do a computer science degree

And in the degree I learned a lot of genuinely amazing and useful stuff, how does networking work, how to use CUDA, how operating systems work etc etc etc

But there are 2 problems now

The first of which, I simply don't remember anything, for example, I aced the networking course, and I really enjoyed studying it, it was a very interesting one, but today, the only thing I remember from it is that we learned how IP addresses work (and only vaguely remember the actuality of it) and that we opened wireshark to open packets to see how they look like (not how they actually look like, but that I back in the day knew how they look like)

AI? Only remember the names and concepts of the algorithms, and only one I truly remember how it works in the background is the k nearest neighbors and logical regression - can I use those without looking up the syntax again? not even close

CUDA? Not a single thing, aced this course and loved it, can't recall a single line of code

The second problem, is that I don't have much practical knowledge in anything either

I know how to write basic code, but my coding level is probably of someone who has been studying how to code for 6 months, not 3 years

---

So a month ago, I called my boss of that same IT job I had for recommendation, and instead he offered me a job, it will be single position (I mean by that, I will be the only developer, other than him, but he will do other things than just development)

And the job will be in web development, which I have barely done any of which (he said that it will be fine, and that I will have AI to help figure things out)

And like, in a week I will walk in there, and what, just study everyone on-the-job?

I don't know what's the point of this rant, I now figure out that I probably really had no reason to type all that out

RANT END -

So my question, I have 1 week left, and I can learn quite fast, what should I learn for a web development job (JS Typescript and React)?

I already learned the basics of those languages, but are there specific aspects I better focus on?

Anti Israeli blood libels don't make sense, because they aren't meant to

Israel is the only apartheid with equal rights to all

Israel is the only colony that isn't part of an empire

Israel is the only white colonizer that is brown

Israel is the most diverse "ethnostate"

Israel is the only "imperial project" founded primarily by refugees fleeing extermination and expulsion from actual empires

Gaza genocide is the only genocide where you would need to be beyond stupid to claim there is an attempt to exterminate the population

The IDF is the only military accused of indiscriminate bombing that drops leaflets, sends text messages, and makes phone calls to warn enemy civilians to evacuate

--

The reason that the libels are so ridiculous, is not because that these people are idiots, they are doing what they have always been doing - associating the Jew with what they hate the most

The Nazis who believed in racial superiority and fought the communists said the Jews are an inferior race that is spreading communism

The Communists who believed in collectivism and hard word said that the Jews are the capitalists who leech of the work of others

The Medieval Church, which believed in absolute religious orthodoxy and fought heresy, said that the Jews were the literal agents of the devil and the killers of God.

The Leftists of today who have been indoctrinated to hate themselves for their past, and hate racism, are instead blaming the Zionists (would be racist to blame the Jews) for everything they feel guilty of in their past, be it if makes sense or not

They feel guilty for colonization, so the "Zionist" state a colony

They feel guilty for white privilege, so the "Zionists" are white

They feel guilty for the REAL genocides of natives their ancestors committed all over the world, so the Jews are genociders

There is nothing more to that, that's why when you ask them to explain themselves they will ignore the reality on the ground and the big picture, and resort to some quotes or to niche minor events, or to outright changing history (like how "Nakba" which was an attempt at exterminating the Israelis by 7 Arab armies is now somehow being told as story about the evil blood thirsty Jews kicking out poor natives off the olive groves)

Do you think the middle east would have been significantly different, if they didn't kill or kick out all their Jews? Would have lsrael survive if it didn't get the influx of Mizrahi Jews early on?

How to not get rejected because of HR interview (after passing the professional interview)?

I am probably overthinking it

I worked for 2 years as IT helpdesk (did quite a bit more than that, but the official role was helpdesk), but then I left to study computer science

I was awful at it, my grades are at the gutter, and when I finished it I just sat around depressed for almost a year

So recently I started looking for a job, and I called my former boss to get his recommendation, and luckily, instead, he said that he had a job for as developer

I had an interview with him, and the boss above him (which is also the same boss I had before) and they decided to take me in

Now, I have a 2nd interview with HR, and I feel like I won't get past it

I am still not finished with my degree (and as I said, the grades are crap)

I am socially awkward

I have this all past few months of nothing that I can't excuse

How do I actually get through them? what will they ask? what are the traps? any way to prepare?

The same entity who managed to convince the left to support Palestine, is likely to be in control of the next elections in most countries as well

The way I see things, the George Washington's equivalent of the Palestinian identity was a friend of Hitler

The Palestinians refused all peace deals and 2 state solutions for 100 now, alongside their "Arab brothers" started multiple wars of extermination

And on Oct 7th they invaded Israel, shot or raped everyone they could, and then went to hide among their own civilians to make it impossible to fight them without civilian casualties

Women in Palestinian society are treated like garbage and L_G_B_T are routinely executed

I could go on and on about the Palestinians, but my point is, this is a society that is as evil as societies get

And if someone (be it a corporation, or a country) managed to convince entire parts of western society to support THAT, then that same entity is the one who is going to choose who will win the next elections

We are still going to have the illusion that the citizens are in control of their own country for a few more decades, but under the hood, it's probably China who is going to be electing the next leaders of most of Europe

What if Israel allied with China instead of the US in the 70s?

Seeing how easily westerners are being brainwashed by social media to support the worst people on earth, I think that Israel is destined to eventually switch to China's side very soon

So I was wondering, how different things would have looked like if Israel was aligned with China instead of the West early on, right after or during the Yom Kippur War

I got 3 days to prepare for a Junior position, what should I learn?

Hey guys, I am about to finish my CS degree, and my former boss from the IT job I had prior to the degree offered me a dev position

It will be solo dev position for a company that traditionally doesn't have software developers, he told me to learn React and Javascript, which I did, but generally during the job I would be expected to use AI to learn and develop a lot of different random things

Is there some kind of "general wisdom" I should focus on? something like software architecture or anything of that nature?

מישהו ניסה את האבקת חלבון של תנובה? היא טעימה?

האבקת חלבון הקודמת שקניתי היתה מגעולה וממש סבלתי עד שגמרתי אותה...

ומי שניסה, ווניל או שוקולד?

I won't blame the Israelis for high civilian casualty counts when their enemies are doing everything in their power to get as many of their own civilian killed

The whole thing is ridiculous

Palestinians (Hamas and others) and Hezbollah fight in civilian clothes, they set up their command centers in hospitals, store their weapons in buildings, their troops are hiding inside tunnels that run under civilian buildings

They fire rockets from humanitarian zones right near refuge tents, fire at IDF from among the crowd inside food distribution centers, they use child soldiers (who then are counted as 'murdered children') and so much more, all in intention to get leftist's sympathy

If rapists were constantly wearing green shirts, I wouldn't be mad at girls for not dating guys who wear green shirts
