Dropped my APP3 in the toilet and they were submerged for less the 10 seconds, I think they’ll make a full recovery?
So I went to pick up my pants on the bathroom floor I had just taken off and of course I forget my almost brand new pair of AirPod pro 3’s are in there, they go flying into the toilet with the case on (which the toilet was moderately clean no yellow or anything like that) and I immediately grab it out of the toilet, like before I can even think about it. I then panicked, ran to my kitchen, and began cleaning them almost completely dry with a cloth, getting any remaining wetness out. I then ran to my room, tried a charger on it, and it turned amber the normal charging color. The charging case was fine. I then tried the AirPods, and they sound AWFUL. Like water logged beyond belief, I cry obviously because I’m thinking that 250+ dollars down the toilet (lol) but then I replace the tips on earbuds clean them a little more and try them and the audio returns to normal besides the left earbud acting up a little bit making a whale like sound, so then I play one of those videos on YouTube to get the water out and it seems pretty effective so both now sound pretty good besides the left one sounding weaker but that might just be a product of my ears as I’ve noticed the past few months my right ear is way more effective then my left, so now my only worry is them not charging and not fully working 😭, I also have that notification in the airpods section thats like “Hearing protection might not be working clean airpods” or whatever but I have them directly under my fan right now, the charging case and AirPods themselves. Any other suggestions? (Update: after 5 hours of having them sit out and such they work perfectly fine and the charging case plus buds are charging fine :)
