Hey everyone! I am moving to Danbury this August because I received an offer letter for a job that I have accepted. My job start date is August 25. Before starting I am planning to move into a rental 1 bedroom apt.
I don’t want to stay in a hotel since they are pricey per night.
If anyone knows any good websites or give any tips to how to find one that would be great.

I used to work in a Defense tech Company that I joined last year July as a Contractor in Milwaukee, WI. It was supposed to be an 18 month project but in June second week, my recruiter called and told me that I will laid off. Not because of my performance but because they don’t have enough work for every individual and tasks has been sparse so they laid me and two others off.

I was kinda devastated because I was laid off last year as well on March 2025, and it took me 4 months to get an offer letter after interviews and interviews I was able to get the job at that Defense Tech company in July.

But this year was my second time getting laid off but alas was able to secure an offer letter and the best part is that it is a full-time position and not a contract job.

PS. I have been working as a Contractor since 2020 and after 6 years I finally get a full-time position.
