Worst experience eating out?

I always expect to be served food that is difficult to make at home. Apart from that, it never should be worse than the food I cook at home. However, I've had a few nasty experiences over the years. I've also realised a lot of the good reviews a place gets are written by family, friends, and staff of the business... Or from people with an invested interest.

What are all your worst experiences, and where if you don't mind saying? Also, do you think places have dropped their standards due to rising business costs, or do you think people just can't be bothered anymore trying to make decent food?

It seems the good places are closing down rapidly and being replaced with unhealthy corporate chains like Greggs and other disease causing establishments.

Untreated Reactive Attachment Disorder leads to severe Borderline Personality Disorder.

Hello everyone. I was a RAD child due to multiple abuses in infancy, and I didn't get any therapy or intervention that was recommended by the specialist professionals due to my family wanting to run away from the shame of their own failings. In fact, my medical records were callously destroyed somehow. Moving forward, I have a severe personality disorder.

I find there aren't many people opening up about these types of disorders, but there are professionals and carers discussing their experiences. Granted, a huge part of having these issues is to withdraw and feel shame, so it's not a surprise that there aren't many first-hand stories that can be publicly accessed. However, please feel free to share what you want to share about these disorders on this post. We have a long way to go to help change the stigma associated with these issues.

Remember, it's not your fault that your brain was rewired, so please try and not carry the shame of the workings of your brain. Thank you in advance :)

What is everyone's go to gluten free establishment in the UK?

Some places have zero idea about gluten-free food, even if they do highlight allergens on the menu. I have found that a lot of places oversee the fact that even vinegar and spices contain gluten. There are still a very tiny number of places in the country that are completely gluten-free, and others have closed down due to the financial climate. I feel the system just doesn't tolerate people wanting to consume healthier food as I believe nobody should be consuming gluten.

I'm interested to find out where fellow coeliac's go when they want a break from home cooking? I feel that food standards have significantly dropped in recent times due to rising costs to run a business. Please share your thoughts and feelings :)
