I wanna buy a tablet, I was gonna go for Samsung but trying to avoid too evil. I saw the honor’a design seems prestige but I don’t know if it truly is, looking for feedback.

Usage: watching movies, social media, reading in-depth articles and drawing/some potential image-video editing (not shooting).

Overall looking for the best screen quality + hopefully something not so aggressive on the eyes (I’m surprised how little of a concern it seems to be when that’s my main reason for being offline).

I don’t know if it’s the right sub (please let me know where to post if need be). I’ve been dwelling on this for years without doing anything so here I am:

I used to care for data ethics and privacy but things really got out of hand when I joined Instagram most likely! I completely let it go and now that I live a life that’s more harmonious with myself I m back to the question: how to live a normal life while being ethical and private.

I’m currently fully on iOS, I vaguely have a vpn I don’t really use, I’m daily on social media and I’m aware (but anaware of the extent of it) that all my data is leaking everywhere (including in this post). I put a sticker on my front camera.

With the increase of ai and quantum physics, I’d love to know (present and 5 year projection):

- what data is realistically tracked by the tech giants
- are personal profiles potentially…profiled, for whatever reason and is it doable by pirate companies
- best practice to increase privacy considering I cannot code but I will put in effort into changing my routine.

Hi, I’m a millennial but…
Probably because I am well traveled and a former expat I relate a lot to the Gen Z community ( I don’t know if there is a direct correlation but I think digital nomads and worldly people are more like “big children” than sedentarian ones).

But somehow I don’t recognize myself in them because we don’t share the same childhood story and relationship to internet I guess, and I m puzzled between admiring their genuine incredible maturity and on the other hand I always wonder…what next?

Does anyone relate and has clues?

Just curious… as I’ve been going through intense body stretching in the last 2 months (as part of what I believe is a k experience) I tend to be a little bored at times while my body does the work for me…

Anyway I’m mildly starting to dab into astrology, the house and yappi yappa and I’m genuinely just curious as to if correlations between astrology placements and kundalini experiences have been found? Stupid question but I’m religiously following the Reddit rule book and I’m close to achieving level 1 only nobody ever commented on any of my posts.

Would you be able to articulate what makes a post commentable? I guess mine are nice to look at, I cross post a lot so I get curious people but as soon as they see it they are gone…

I’ll say first thing I noticed is clarity: I changed the bio so I think it’ll help. But once again, what’s the trick that makes people wanna engage? NB: theme is Gen Z existential angst through a comedic lens.

I haven’t really cleaned my face ever and although it’s not recommended I have clean skin at 37 although I’ve been smoking and drinking half of my life.

That said I’m trying to perfect it and I’m looking for a product that’ll do it for me - mostly pores cleaning and scars reduction. I don’t care if it’s natural, organic or not but I do want a clean product, something that feels long term and not gonna destroy me for a quick buck.

I’ve been watching a lot of interviews of Ocean Vuong who in my eyes is the only mind worth listening to online (you know what I mean).

So I guess I should start reading his books but I’m a big reader of classics and horribly scared of being disappointed. I don’t read a book for style but if the style doesn’t support the arch then it’s a pass for me.

Would you relate, what do you think and which would you recommend to start with if worth it?

My Marantz 2230 19070s amplifier screen doesnt fully turn on anymore nor does it produce any sound. I reorganized some cables and possibly spilled drops of water, other than that I don’t see what causes the issue for this amplifier I’ve been using regularly from about a year now.

Anyone has any reco to fix it before I take it to the specialist? Thanks!
