I call the IT manager and introduce myself by the company name, he realizes I'm going to sell him on something and immediately says "I'm on vacation, don't call me".
Do I call back and mention first that the Finance Manager gave me his number?
Current plan is to wait a day or two and then call again through my company landline since I'm assuming he's blocked my number or won't answer since he'll recognize it.
I work at a CSP and sell software solutions, we're partnered with pretty much every big tech company ever. So the customers are certainly interested in the products but I currently have 2 hot leads who want to purchase and they're convinced on the pricing but these guys keep asking for information over email and every time I call they speak for maybe 10 seconds and say "I'm a little busy, let me email you what I need" and so it's taking weeks to close these deals.
I have a 22 Sport and I was sitting in my friend's 25 BMW X6, couldn't help but notice how "cheap" and unclassy the interiors have become in the BMW but whenever I sit in my Sport I admire all the leather through out, the armrest, color tones. Feels much more refined and a class above the germans, true English snobbery.

I bought a bunch of Mirra's in great condition due to some liquidation sale. Some wear on the lower back but otherwise really great condition. We used to have leather chairs in our office and coming into the office after a walk or client visit we used to be so sweaty and on top of that sitting on leather was not great. These mesh ventilated chairs are great for posture and ideal for the climate.

So I recently applied for and got Norwegian citizenship through my Dad. I'm wondering how its like working in the Big4 in Scandinavia, with my Norway passport I think I can work in any of those countries through some treaty. I grew up in America and got my degree in Oklahoma. My dad works in Oil and Gas and I know that's big in Norway but I cannot speak any Norwegian so I'm thinking American offices in Norway would be best for me. I have an Economics degree, bachelors so kind of strategy, business development, or even audit I guess. If you work in the Scandinavian offices, are there any americans there? Do yall speak English in the office? In the cities?
My father has a business in Dubai ( around 7.5M USD in revenue) that he has been running for the last 15 years. He wants me to join, learn, and takeover but working with him is a pain. He yells and is very unclear in what he wants yet expects perfect results. This is a very lean operation (only about 8 employees). What options do I have to open a subsidiary in another country, get PR, and then come back to Dubai when my father retires? I feel like this is currently a better option than what he suggested: I get a masters degree and work in USA for a while before I come back. I think I can learn a lot more by starting a business than paying $150K for an MBA.
So far my research points to Ireland as an option.
I work in a company and sometimes we have a call with head office in Dubai where some managers are American. I usually address all my seniors as sir but my manager in Dubai said "Just [His name]" when I called him sir. It's little un natural for me to address seniors like that so next time I called him "Mr. [His Name]" and he said "Hey man, it's just [His name]. You don't have to call me sir or mr".
Never experienced that somebody senior only want to be called by their name, sometimes in our office if you call client or senior with name we get reprimanded or have to correct ourself immediately.
I used to work in analytics creating dashboards and ad hoc analysis but honestly that is not for me, staring into a screen 8 hours with no interaction.

Currently driving a 2022 Range Rover Sport that’s about to run out of warranty. I barely drive (have 52,000 kms since I bought this new).
