Just out of curiosity, here it is with all 42 banks ahead of SoFi and their most recent 8 quarters growth rate projected forward. Note a few of them that have “ok” growth are skewed by recent mergers that are one-time asset-growth events, SoFi is growing at this rate organically.

No, this is not the projection to expect necessarily, it shows a smoothed average, so it’s not unprecedented growth by any means… moreso visualizes their growth vs other banks, because again: SoFi is “just a bank” 😜
