Best Video Walkthrough?

Could anyone recommend a video walkthrough for the game? I'm looking to use one mainly not to miss items, areas, or secrets. I'm not concerned about gameplay tips.

I remember following one for Black/White back in the day and it helped me experience a lot that I would have otherwise missed, and also informed me about many mechanics, like the critical capture.

Any news on the hardcover deluxe editions of the manga?

They were supposed to begin releasing in the spring or summer (I forget) but were delayed. It looks like most sites have a placeholder date of December.

Is that date official? What source can I use to stay updated on new information?

Vegan friendly Thai Restaurants in the City Proper?

I've found very few Thai restaurants have clearly labeled vegan options on their menu.

Why did adult/"future" Eren send memories to young/"past" Eren in the first episode/chapter?

I know how he does this, but I don't understand why he chooses to do so. Is ymir involved, because the title To You In 2,000 Years seems to suggest that.

Which classic movies do you recommend watching on CRT TVs?

It's unfortunate to have to watch in letterbox, but a lot of classic movies just feel right when watched on a CRT TV.

I would recommend Alien, or a classic anime movie like Perfect Blue.

How will anime movies look on 4:3 CRT TVs?

Will they be cropped to fit the screen? I was too young/not enough into film and home movies to understand what was happening back then?

It seems like we finally hit a point where the queue is a lot less congested

It took around two months and two weeks to get through the first hour of reservations. However, it seems in the last couple of days Valve has already moved close to the end of the second hour of reservations.

Good news. We'll have to see how things continue to go, but this could be a reason for optimism among everyone in the queue.

Must try restaurants in the city?

I'm in Appleton for the next couple of weeks, and I was wondering what the best of the best restaurants are? If you only lived in the city for two more weeks, what places would you be going?

I don't eat meat (fish and eggs included in that), but I'm also hoping people suggest places for any diet for the use of other readers.

How to find people with experience in servicing CRT TVs in your area?

I'd like to find someone like this not only for an option for getting my TV service, but I'd also like to arrange to get some first hand learning/experience on working on CRT TVs.

I've even thought about trying to find people who did TV repairs for work in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's.

Things to know about buying a console, and holding out for a color vs replacing shell?

I'm looking for general things to look out for when buying a NGC.

I know that you need to be careful to make sure the system you are buying has the correct AV output that you need.

I was also wondering about picking a color. Is the Gamecube similar to the SNES and N64 in that it is easy to replace the outer shell of the console? Or if I'm really tied to wanting one color, should I prioritize getting that color from the get go?

How much should I be willing to pay for good quality 13-14" CRT with s-video and component?

There's only one JVC model this size that has these inputs.

There's only two Sony models this size that have these inputs.

There's only five Toshiba models this size that have these inputs.

I paid like $50 bucks for a 20" Toshiba of the same model type in my small city, but the only listing I can find of any of the above models is in the closest super city (one of the top five largest in the US) near me and listed at $300.

I know it's "don't overpay" for CRT's, but in this case do I need to bend more due to the rarity off these units?

Looking for advice from someone who has gone from 20" to 13", or someone who has both. Also, upgrade recommendations?

After picking up and using my 20" CRT TV, it's really more than I need. I only play these classic games by myself, and could go for something smaller and easier to move around and place in my living space.

The only thing I'm worried about, is will going down from 20" to 13" be too big of a decrease? That's not all that far from dropping half the size. Any input from people who have experience with both?

Also, my 20" is a Toshiba branded TV made by Orion in 2004. It's model number is 20AF44. If I was looking for a quality increase, what brands/manufacturers/models should I be looking for? Basically the only thing I ever hear is that Sony Trinitrons are good, but I don't know anything beyond that.

Question about game options for someone new to decompiled games

I'm interested in playing a lot of these 2D classics that have been decompiled, or will be soon. However, I was wondering what options are available.

These games were designed with the idea of scan lines and pixel blending bend present, and don't look correct without them. Are there options available to get these games looking like you were playing them on a CRT TV?

Frustrated after receiving broken 1CHIP system

So awhile back I paid a premium for a a 1CHIP SNES. Surgery (with complications and additional surgery) and life in general got in the way and I never got to open and test the system. After finally opening the package and testing things out, the SNES is broken. It powers on but doesn't display properly no matter the cable I use. Now it is past the return period and I'm stuck with it.

I get this is partially on me, I should have found time to test it before the return window passed, but how about sellers just testing their products and not sending out defective units as well? This just really turns me off from trying to find another working 1CHIP SNES, and shows the vulnerability of a 35 year old system that is going to work less and less as time passes.

I'm going to try to find a 1CHIP that I can play in person and test, but these things aren't exactly easy to find, and I'm already out well over $100 bucks on one. Part of me just wants to give up on it and find the the best emulation settings possible for the scanlines and glow.

I can't afford to blow money only to have another system break on me, and I don't really have the energy to do so either with all that life entails. My dream was this to play beautiful SNES games on a CRT TV, but it's starting to seem like continuing down this path is falling into the sunk cost fallacy.

Any tips or suggestions?

I'm keeping my CRT for other retro uses, but currently I'm left with so much wasted money in; a broken 1CHIP SNES, two controllers, games I can't even play (Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, Kirby's Dream Land 3), multiple video cables, etc. Even to sell this off is going to be a headache because it's certainly going to have to be divided up into half a dozen sales.
