Asus vivobook s16 screen break

Guys I bought my asus vivobook s16 laptop from Amazon last month only at the price of 83k inr

Right now I am a fresher at nit Rourkela and yesterday while using the laptop i was trying to close it. I put some pressure near the camera module and it broke the whole screen as cracks went from top to bottom and into the side too

Now when I took the laptop to a local repair guy in nit Rourkela only he said that this ain't covered in warrenty and will cost me another 28k like wth

Hi seniors would love to know your advice and any suggestions as I got nit Rourkela biotech

Hiiii seniors ,

As an upcoming fresher i have some weird questions regarding nit rourkela , which i would love if you guys could answer

1- What type of orientation would there be (how would be the freshers party , orientation week etc.)

2- How do you guys manage with such a small hostel room , there isnt even a proper almirah , where do you guys store your clothes (suticases only ??)

3- How do you guys manage with indian type washroom (as a guy who mostly used western toilet this seriously became a concern), and also how do you guys manage with only 2-3 bathrooms on the whole floor

Guys is there any possibility that bits will see an itr 7 this year.

How can someone know that itr 7 would happen this year too. What are the rules regarding this ?

Can somebody also give me the stats regarding the same ??

Although top 5 nit (including nit like Calicut, Rourkela, Warangal) are proper TIER 1 college of India

They are considered to be equivalent to new age IITs but still why do people hate lower branches in them

By lower branches i mean branches like Production/ Mettalurgy/Mining/Biotech

Atleast that's what I see most people hate them (from a guy who is thinking of choosing a lower branch in one of these nit)

Asus vivobook s16 core ultra 5 255h (16 gb ram/512 gb storage)

From Amazon in the prime day sale after putting sbi credit card bank offer it costed me 75k

Now i ordered this on 4th

It got delivered on 6th (today , last day of the sale)

But the laptop that i recieved was Asus vivobook 14

Luckily it was an open box delivery so I sent it back.

But they just gave me a refund not an exchange

I had to buy the laptop before midnight cause then the sale would end

And this time there was no sbi credit card emi offer soo this costed me a whopping 83k

Like wtf is this amazon 😭

And even the prices of flipkart increased now it was costing me 89k on Flipkart which earlier costed only 78 k

Guys can somebody explain this

And please tell me is there any way I can get the laptop at 75k

Please help

Weird trend in josaa round 2

I saw a weird trend in josaa round 2

Here the or and cr of

Nit Agartala electrical Engineering dropped by quite a bit as it went from 33k (2025 r2) to 36k (2026 r2)

Nit Calicut and Rourkela production and Mining went from 33k (2025 r2) to 29k (2026 r2)

Can somebody please explain this 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
