D23 2026 announcement is actually enjoyable without drama from lil kids online

Why is it amazing without drama?

TV-

  1. Ashoka season 2- Brave Ashoka quest continues

  2. VisionQuest- Ultron is all in Vision's head, which left me speechless

  3. Oswald

Movies-

  1. Gatto because Pixar knows cinema

  2. Bluey- drama is just a by-product of animation grifters treating Peanuts as a sacred relic or Angry Birds as a meme cow that needed to be milked, or they want a 2D feature film back if KOATI is free on streaming. Like, chill; let kids have their own stylistic animation without forcing Peanuts, Captain Underpants, and Angry Birds onto them, which is why I never liked any of the three, but I love Bluey.

  3. Zootopia 3

Honorable mention: Ice Age: Boiling Point and Coco 2 as drama about it leads nowhere, as they're films for families rather than Disney grifters.

Films to avoid because it generates drama: Incredibles 3/Frozen 3 (it depends if we figure out how to separate Disney obcessive grifters and Disney adults) and live-action Tangled (at all costs)

Sonic the Hedgehog would easily dismiss any drama as unnecessary fighting because no good will come out of it. Cyberbullying is wrong.

About my defense of Rio 2...

-Is not to say animated family films about animals should stay safe; I explicitly said Rio 2 for family fun, but not all animated sequels should be written like Kung-Fu Panda 2.

-There is nothing harmful towards neaurodivergent it just that neurotypical people have expectations when it comes to encouraging ND to adapt outside of their comfort zone. What's abusive about encouraging a mildly autistic animal lover to get Masters of natural science? So Rio 2 felt like a walk in the park.

-Ease with animation is cinema because people are giving Secret Life of Pets, Sing, and Hotel Transylvania films despite being my age because it's supposed to show that adults could have fun.

-I'm sure the hate is coming from frustrated 20-yr-olds experiencing adulting that they shoul've go to therepy instead of expeacting animation film to 'fix' them. This is not how psychology works.

-My defense is mostly for Brazilian fauna rep and nothing more, as kids should deserve to see the colorful side of the Amazon.

Yeah, I did find alternatives if Rio 2 is so triggering to many ND people: KOATI. Where there is no family drama, just a team of misfits founding their own family.

Terra Nova files season 3- spec evo revamp

The mystical guardian of Amazon is referred to as a thorny/ spure horned lizard, as it resembles thorns or spines.

Scientists theorized that in 100 million yrs, actual spiny lizards would take their place by evolving into Calcarisaurus. Calcarisaurus is a massive horned devil that thrives in greenhouse Earth 100 yrs into the future.

Velanosaur odogaron is renamed as Arsartis odogaron, and its blood-sucking subspecies Arsartis barlagual is recanon. They are still lovable lizard-puppers native to the Pampas as they evolve to resemble raptors like Slashers but fox-terrier-sized.

As a spec-evo nerd I have to analyze what animals are Siren.

This is just for fun, as I'm an autistic paleo-geek who loves animals

stem-amphibians from the Mesozoic (paleo-amphibians)

The Sirens are either Metoposauridae or Chigutisauridae.

-unusual eyes facing forward.

-ambush predators

Verdict: Metoposauridae for its position of the eyes or Chigutisauridae for toilet-shaped head.

Winner- Chingutisauridea

-lived on isolated islands away from other animals for hundreds of millions of years.

-short snout

Stem tetrapods (fish with feet because it was a thing back in the Carboniferous)

-smooth fish-like scales

-ambush similar to crocodiles

-aquatic predators from the misty abyss

Baphetidae with newt-like tails, hunt-like crocs.

Embolomeri for its more transitional appearance.

The overall verdict is fascinating; compare these Sirens from Ice Age 4 to real-life tetrapods throughout deep time because it is part of the fun in spec-evo. They are so fascinating that I analized it for my spec-evo paleobiology, and I'm going to christen the Sirens as Snappers after the tetrapods from Meg 2.

Why? If Snappers look more like an actual Embolomeri from Walking with Monsters, that's because, unlike Meg 2, the Snappers from Ice Age 4 made it home safe and sound after eating Proximus Ceaser pirate instead of being nuked by Manny or Diego inside the warehouse, which is a massive disrespect for a lovely transitional creature who wants some snacks.

That's a wrap. What are your thoughts on my paleo-analysis of Snappers based on my comparisons with paleo-amphibians of Mesozoic and stem-tetrapod clades

Cancellation of Acrolyte is missed opportunity to introduce Kreia

She's the best-written villain in Knights of the Old Republic, as her cold demeanor aids the player in making choices.

Why she's well-written:

Sith who rejects the Force because she sees it as a tyrant that binds all life to eat each other.

Cold wisdom is very witch-like.

crazy witch archtype/ playing witchdoctor.

Warns everyone about Jedi and Sith beefing with each other.

I know she's long gone, but it be nefarious that she's behind everything in Acrolyte.

Update about spec-evo AU and confession-

I'm wrapping everything up on this beautiful spe-evo AU (see more; most frequent posts in the past two years are from me under spec-evo AU/ Terra Nova files) as it is a very fun project that I hope a spec-evo nerd will find in this very subreddit to share with others. Season 3 is final because I made this in the hope that it would revive, but it is better to move on in life with other things like ecology.

In the bottom of my heart, I want to say I never really care about Terra Nova at all; I'm mostly interested in dinos, so LOST-related sci-fi drama is still lost to me because the show isn't for me. After all, I expected it to be more like futuristic HTTYD.

Good to know I made this Terra Nova spec evo as a fun project even tho I'm not a fan of the show because for 10 yrs I've been becoming more bitter towards that I rather focus on other things like Avatar/ spec-evo HTTYD/ paleo-docs/spec-evo monster hunter/spec-evo jurassic world because, unlike Terra Nova, it paints the Colors of the Wind. I've been waiting for Terra Nova to return in a format that I wanted, but I think it's time to move on.

Has Stolas gone an ego death.

Ego death is a devastating way to break the haughty because Stolas usually keeps his cool by being an adorable, horny bird who wants genuine romance like his erotica. But why does he hide in the empty throne instead of leaving his palace with Via to be normal?

Yeah, he's selfish, which is the entire point of facing the consequences of his actions by getting his powers stripped, getting covered in shit, being scrolled by imps, being sacutary while Blitz is his Scrodge, and isolated by Via.

Top of I heard Verosika singing someone being dead at the same moment when Stolas says don't address me that.

To make things better, Blitz takes very good care of Stolas because he's not being himself...or grieving about losing himself. Got rescued after being willing to die for Via and got a sweet love dance with Blitz. Does that not sound like an act of humility? Because he accepted the loss of his old life.

Season 3, by judging that he's brooding, shows he's grieving for Via and his powers- does this remind you of ego death? Just look at those sad, soulful eyes. The first and last pics are hauntily similar.

Stolas should've stopped thinking he's a powerful cosmic prince and started being the father that Via expected.

Background imps are cute and badass

-Tall Millie, long-horned

I don't know why, hellhounds in Bee's are so cute

-One of the crew's houndsona looks like a coatimundi with ringtail and a mask. He even reappears in Chaz's music video, looking so embarrassed. I think I spotted him where he's drinking at Verosika's party.

-Crew's houndsona that looks like a German shepherd

-lycanroc

-chihuahua

-Fox terrier

-Frenchie

-Red fox terrier

-one who jumped into a tub of punch that looked like brown Loona/ shaved Lycanroc

Somewhere in Europe or Canada are insulting to secret life of Pets in 2020s

Cats in Museums and Dogs in Opera were made in the same year and in the same country (Russia)

Alternative to both: Underdogs (South Korean film)

Pets to the rescue is a sad eyesore with lazy incompetence. Basically, cat and dog torture corn (it counts when they're insulting to each other)

Alternative to this mess: Pets on a Train because it is a love letter to Mission: Impossible/ Fast Furious saga from France

I'm worry about CGI as art form, no thanks to Cocomelon that we might go dark age of CGI

Let me clarify, I'm not trashing the film just because it's for toddlers. Toddlers deserve better, like Spirit: The Stallion of Cimarron or Kung Fu Panda film because I know DreamWorks makes amazing films for all ages incudeding 30-yr-olds and toddlers.

This Cocomelon film is an embarrassing trivialization of CGI as an art form. I know I was being harsh on Trolls, but over time I admitted they have great music and amazing worldbuilding.

I'm not saying this because it's too colorful, but it's because it's nothing but sterile content, devoid of any heart. I'm not trashing this, but a warning that by the time this movie comes out, CGI as art is officially dead.

Because there are people out there who think animation is for kids, the Cocomelon film will validate them. DreamWorks worked so hard to subvert that til Boss Baby ruined everything. How we went from HTTYD as proof that animation is for everyone, even adults, to an example that CGI is for kids.

This worst example of ''animation age ghetto'' where once an art form becomes a babysitting tool. Animation is an artistic medium for all ages, and HTTYD and Panda proved it.

I don't want to hear some casual scumbag say this about CGI,' Remember when CGI was used for breathtaking cinematic myth-making? Never mind—it’s back to being a brightly colored pacifier.'

Sully family and their digimon partners

This is from a fanfic concept I'm currently working on (with a crossover with RIO)

Note: Digimon feeds on Earth's communication network.

Jake- Azhdramon, as a fierce warrior focused on his duty to protect others' powers, on this bladed digimon. Defending his family from bad digimon birthed from bad takes about sequels on the internet- digimon feeds human emotion.

Neytiri- Allomon, an armor form of Jewel the Spix Macaw from Rio that Neytiri befriended from having a similar fierce and protective personality. Allomon protects Blu from a strange Digimon who was born from the dark side of the cartoon community and wants to ''coddle'' him because they misread his nervous-wreck behavior as helpless moderate autism. Some Rio fans never accept that autistic people can fully adapt to society, but they just want to woobiefied Blu just for weird ''autism'' rep by beefing with Rio 2. That film is misunderstood because it is catering to traditional Latin households, not for a 20-year-old who should've gone to therapy if they feel too hopeless like Blu. Allomon also protects Jake from bad digimon birth from the internet especally the one who calls Jake a human extinction clock. N@zis unable to tell the difference between a human colony on Pandora with no home and cooperative pillagers who are cooperative against Earth's dwindling economy.

Kiri- Toropiusmon is a wild Digimon birthed from confusion and mixed reactions of how Kiri was written from the sequels. Is more nuanced take of a grifter- they express rage from confusion til Kiri calms it down. Neutral form is Parasaurmon, as it represents that dinosaurs are children of Eywa too.

Lo'ak- Dimetrimon is a wild Digimon birthed similar to Toropiusmon but symbolizes MCU/Star Wars grifters projecting their self-loathing (from an unloved father) into critiquing how Lo'ak is written. Elizamon is the neutral form that represents that okay to drop the mask and show the true, softer side for clarity.
