Can we not do this? (from a fan of both) [DISCLAIMER BELOW]

DISCLAIMER

-Is going to misinterpret ATLA fans as manchildren who can't handle 'adult' media. Yeah, I'm aware ATLA has adult themes, but marketing misinterprets the show as no different from other Nicktoons from the general POV.

-We know both follow spirituality based on different aspects of Hinduism. ATLA is inspired by the Bhagavad Gita and aspects of Vaishnava; which means Avatars in ATLA feature elements of Krishna, Rama, and Buddha based on promises to restore balance. While other Avatar does has characters with elements from Rama and Krishna but the spirituality is more akin to Shaktism- a domination that focuses on the feminine force of the universe and focuses on life itself.

-Despite what grifters who lied with their assumption to the people who watch Avatar films, we don't see ATLA as inferior just because it is a 'cartoon,' because we don't see animation as inferior just because it is released on a kids' channel.

-There is nothing wrong with kids' cartoons being great at tackling spirituality and themes. What these grifters do is very childish to the point of misinterpreting us as manchildren, regardless if great show has themes and heart in the public eye.

-Grifters are the reason why we are being accused of being manchildren just because we understand the depths and intimate growth of ATLA.

Terra Nova would have been way better if focused on the coexistence of dinosaurs rather than sci-fi melodrama

-I don't want to defend cancellation, but the biggest downfall is that the majority of the audience watches it for dinosaurs only.

-focused more on spec-evo on most exotic paleo-animals gives a very Avatar-like authenticity.

-if it gets rebooted, it's for the best that dinos are the main focus

-Is ironic that HTTYD- Race to the Edge/ Croods Family Tree is better a Terra Nova than what Terra Nova tried to be

People need to stop comparing Steven with Ben because it proofs what Rebeca Sugar stated about softing male role model

Seriously, Steven is more like Avatar Aang from ATLA than Ben 10

Like Ben Kirby 10 is a great character, but he's more of a badass alien fighter who wants to be famous.

People who claim Ben is a better role model are lonely manchildren, nostalgic incels, and edgy boys who think toxic man is healthy.

Steven and Avatar Aang are more positive role model that use empathy as a weapon instead of being tempted by desires

Rebeca is right we need people more like Steven AND Avatar Aang

No one will EVER make me hate you [rant]

Yes, everyone in this film is a bully, yeah, I'm autistic who suffers doubts and peer pressure at university like Jewel as my mom and Edwardo as my University.

Why I love this film rather than hating it because it hit so close to home because I watch it for animals only and because it reliefs dreams that never came o be along side with KOATI and nature documentries.

I need an audio commentary about writers who admitted they can't write a proper family dynamic, while addressing that they did all the research on wildlife and music, which is fine so movie won' get hated.

Note- I'm just a Rio fan for love of animals even I admmited Blu is my comfert character my apologies if sequal did mental harm through how Jewel triggered you.

Is strange that Bandit as a fictional dad acts like more organically as a playful dad than my own father

Before anyone asks, yeah, he's a CHAD dad. I'm happy for the depiction of a father as a chad.

Over the years, from my 20th birthday to my 32nd, my dad overboard with playful dad into believing I'm still in primary school playing math/ Walking with... games despite being in university- he cares more about my primary school life that happened 20-15 yrs ago than my actual struggles in university.

Yeah, he's happy that I'm in college/university for the big responsibility in life. Still, he is never aware of my actual struggles because all he remembers is being the teacher's pet rather than an actual scholar who is learning new stuff every day.

Bandit would never do that because he knows he gives Bluey and Bingo a break from playing to give them emotional support without infantilizing them.

The second reason why I favor Bandit over my own father is this 'showmanship' he does that bothers me; Bandit being a cool show-off is more subtle and less embarrassing compared to my own father. Bandit is doing a cool dance in the intro is is more palpable because he's aware that he plays cool, than being a scripted showmanship like a domcom father especally he only does showmanship in the intro only.

The thing is, I don't want to remember my father as this embarrassing scripted sitcom-style father that does this quirky dad dance that's so frustrating. He does this lil dance he does when the family is all over, reads 'oh, look at me I'm a family funnies ' in my eyes because he thinks he's in a sitcom like Full House ( cute sitcom popular in the 2000s) that he used to watch 20 yrs ago with my sis.

In what way did Bandit act like this, yeah, even he knows when to act especally when Bluey and Bingo are playing, and when not to act when they're not playing.

thoughts as Bandit is the coolest dad compared to mine, who thinks he's a Full House father.

Both are great sequels that describe ecology worldbuilding but cater to two completely different audiences who rarely interact through diffrent POV and valid philosophies about animation.

This is from a fan of both, and I understand two different philosophies about animation on each film

-You did know depressed ponies need a hug and emotional support

-Pinkie is the embodiment of hope, seeing her depressed made me wanna hug her

-Dark side in canon is validating non-sentient objects as emotional support, apathy, and isolation from others.

Yeah, that definitely made her behavior unorthodox, but not in a psychopathic or maniacal way.

Sounds more like a pony that needs help especally Pinkie embodies hope.

-Yeah, we get it, this inclels sees Aang as Jesus and Korra as anti-Christ

-It shows Avatar is political, but these grifters are obsessed with their Christian bias towards Aang as this messiah, which explains the anti-colonial themes flew past them

-We get it, Avatar brings balance, but they act as if Aang is this Jesus figure instead of what Avatars are actually about

-I could say Korra did better handling the darker sides of the political spectrum, which is no wonder hearts and ATLA grifters react in a bad light.

Note- I'm biased towards old DreamWorks films

Eldrich Horror- Sinbad villains are underrated, but they're terrifying. Red Death from HTTYD and KFP Panda villains are batsh*t crazy, and Mandrill from Crooda New Age solos Proximus Ceaser and Death being death itself.

Best villain ever- Priest from El Dorado, HTTYD villains, Nightmare, and Bad Guys villains, and the general from ANTZ are ruthless.

Good villain- Egyptian royalty, Cortez, Makunga, and Shrek villains have their moments.

Neutral Villains- goons from Shrek, the Flushed Away sewer animals, the crazy lady who wants to shove her chickens into the pie machine, animals from Dogman are up to no good (but luckily Petey redeemed)

Bad Villain- Shark Tale is a bunch of stereotypes, Bee Movie lawyers aren't that interesting- they act like babies, old lady from Madagascar is annoying, and that Karen from Over the Hedge is the sole reason why I haven't gone close to my aunt through different preferences that I blame Karen because my aunt was the sweetest person ever.

Ugliest villain- self-explanatory, Dave would've been in a good villain tier if he didn't have an ugly human form.

Are they even a villain- Goldielocks just wanted a family, Croods animals being animals, ditto the foosas. Over the Hedge Bear is being a bear, Car racer from Turbo is just being cocky, and why Megamind's robots here- not just because Megamind is being edgy?

Was in the files- other than Petey's dad being a shity dad, Home and Boss Baby deserve to be at the bottom because these are from the worst DreamWorks films, especally leading to DreamWorks downfall. Why are Trolls villains and Captain Underpants villains down here- let's just say their films are okay, but again, I have bias with older DreamWorks films. Jack Horner was a great villain, but bastardized by memes- I should've put his mafia with other Shrek villains.

He's more than a totem animal, but the current form of Garuda- embodying courage, Jake's most trusted friend (especally Jake in my AU is a full Na'vi-man brought by Vishnu).

It represents loyalty and strength with its fierce appearance. Despite its fierce nature, it's the protector of innocent souls who lost their way to the light.

His fierce nature can't be overlooked, with the battlefield covered in flames and his body covered in demon blood to remind us that obstacles can be conquered, so the souls are free from ignorance to seek the light

He's so fierce that it caused detractors to be unable to respond or protest, given that his wrathful nature and battle-torn appearance are enough to be given the respect that his master deserves.

The reason that even a heretical dinosaur lover could be redeemed when faced and sees the mighty Turok in person, as it removes their ignorant mindset to guide them to the light, because pterasaurs are made in Garuda's image (Rodan is one of his forms).

That orange-striped Palulukan is the current form of Puss, as he takes accountability for his fans' bad actions because he knows he can't beat a god. Since then, he took the form of a feral beast so he could be away from the shame especally he didn't save DreamWorks from making baby slops.

Inspiration- Garuda, fierce Deities, thunderbird, Rodan from KOTM, and biblically accurate draconic seraphims (flaming ones close to god)

Turok's lesson

-don't be a toxic fan who finds a competition

-We can judge Jake Sully with White Savior and how he's written by a white director, but we can't attack his very fiery soul because Turok chose him for his innocence- Innocence is a blessing, not a mid gary stu

Defense

-Julian is not cringe or too much, people are mean to actual nice people because he's trying too hard to impress depressed-inducted protective Manny, so that he could look out for Peaches. THAT'S WHAT NICE PEOPLE DO. I don't know why people say Johnny from Hotel Transylvania is better if they're equally adorable, charismatic, and nice cinnamon rolls. He's very popular in some regions. Julian gives Manny hope that no matter what happens, Peaches will be safe, like Johnny brought the good side of humans to broody Dracula

-Sid deserves a girlfriend to wrap up his story; she's sweet.

-Diego and Sera are a cute couple who want a family of their own because they're so happy that Manny made it this far despite his hardships.

-Best animation effects from Blue Sky

Why is it overhated?

Why is it technically a rant when I'm addressing why it's overhated? There is a very fine line between genuine criticism at the bottom of this post from a lifelong Ice Age fan who understands character arcs and a sequel hater from an Ice Age purist.

-let 30-yr-olds watch animation like me (and fellow old Ice Age fans) because we don't know what demons they suffer in their prime years; people misunderstood as manchildren this badly. Yeah, we know kids deserve better animation, but keep in mind that animation is for ALL-AGES, according to Del Toro. Why do people think that Spider-Verse/ Zootopia is praised for being an animated film for all ages from the get-go? Inclusivity is key, as no one deserves to be left behind- Ice Age taught us about treating others like family.

-As a fellow fan of HTTYD sequels/ Kung-Fu Panda sequels (2-3), we tend to have very high expectations because we focused on interpersonal dilemmas of characters instead of external dilemmas. Which explains where the hate of the fifth Ice Age film is coming from, because we got too spoiled with animated sequels in the 2010s that deconstruct the status quo like KFP 2-3, HTTYD 2, Madagascar 3, and Finding Dory.

-How come Despicable Me 3 gets defenders if writing is worse than Ice Age 5, with over-the-top drama between the characters and villain Bratt that makes it feel more like a Bourne/ Jack Ryan-style thriller than action-comedy

-I love Land Before Time sequels, and I know which ones are unnecessary, but I don't act like a purist

-The hate for Ice Age 5 is so potent that people begin to hate Secret Life of Pets 2 and Sing 2 in fear it might end up with a similar downfall if they're just okay sequels to okay Illumination films. Hotel Transylvania 3 is getting hated for fear of ending up like Ice Age 5, despite being actually an improvement. All of these sequels have similar writing issues, but they stated Ice Age 5 is the worst case.

-Not every animation has to be a masterpiece like Zootopia or Spider-Verse. There are worse animated films, like Lino for insulting Brazilians despite being made in Brazil, Quackers for insulting China despite being funded by China, and Boss Baby for infantilizing CGI animation.

-The movie is decent when compared to an animated South African movie I love called Khumaba- both films are about animals going on adventures with fantastical situations, but it gets overshadowed as a Walmart bin sale instead of being treated as an underrated hidden gem.

-Some people wanted animated sequels to have therapy lecture than meme potential for families of all ages to enjoy, even adults.

What I don't like about the film that deserves criticism

-Thing I hate is Scrat goes to space unless there are spin-offs about just him and space scratte, but no relation to Collision Course.

-Scrat remade the galaxy

-Fifth film could've been a bittersweet closure of Manny's road to recovering from suc1c!d*l depressed mammoth from the first film to a character with enough spark of hope to see a bright future. A PSA of a family member with mental health issues would be nice, as there is hope to find a path to recovery, because that's how understanding empathy works. Is never too late to express yourself when you have loved ones.

-that sk*nk who show up in Sid's den didn't have to be there, just Sid falling into depression in his den being alone til Diego took him to a bar with Mirachi band- Diego being the wingman as he dealt with Manny's depression years ago.

-Buck could've been a genius about how to save the Earth instead of relying on other Bucks on his mind, like that one with the moon vest. Basically, a classic MVP that the smallest of the team saves the day, sweet touch, he's only 2 apples tall, aww.

Thoughs and no, I'm not glazing the film or anything, I'm just addressing that hate is overblown

-Panda cubs deserve to have their destinies to be avatars of four seasonal deities, and Po gets to hang out with China's most devoted hero, Monkey King. Expand the lore of Panda village because they're cute but badass

-Dragon Knight is canon because Po walking the earth to save Central America and England is a great idea, because I love the lore behind the mastodon during the era of Pangea.

I love his rant about Trolls, Hotel Transylvania, because at least he addresses potential and fandom. (and validate Boss Baby for damaging CGI art into baby shit.

But OH my he went too far off critical if he expected Secret Life and Sing because he wanted to be as deep as Madagascar or Zootopia.

We love to defend Sing and Secret Life because yeah, it might be industrial written, but atlest is not like stigmatizing animation into kids' slop like Boss Baby and Trolls

As a bird fan myself, I love the idea of how unique birds' evolution is, especially since they're dinosaurs in Earth's evolutionary terms.

Birrin- at first glance looks like a bird-bug-like species, but it is actually a race of civilized hexapod-like creatures. They remind me of raptors, though their appearance has evolved to be sentient like humans. Their eyes are filled with curiosity, given their sentient nature. Better than Gungans through is a similar appearance of a hadosaurus, but without being humanoid.
