After market wheels.

I just bought a ‘96 Honda Acty, and I’m looking to get some new wheels and tires on it. I’m wanting to size up to 14s but I’m having an extremely difficult time finding some that look nice and aren’t $500+ a piece.

I don’t necessarily want anything crazy either, just not the steelies, but I do like the “race style” wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Songs recorded post-murder.

With almost a full year between the murder and when David was arrested, there is no doubt in my mind he wrote/recorded many songs in that time.

While it’s highly unlikely, I wonder if any of those tracks will be released (more so leaked) and what they contain. A lot of the themes he writes about are already dark and edgy; murder, abandonment, being alone, etc.

I’m curious if he has recorded any songs directly inspired by what happened. Something along the lines of Murder on My Mind -YNW Melly where it was discovered after the release that it was a song LITERALLY about him killing someone.

Let me know what you think.

EDIT: I took out a part talking about how I thought Afterlife was recorded after the murder since that’s the only part of this post people are talking about. Sorry.

CONTRAband?

I know this is a looong shot and it’s mostly for fun, but..

contra. (the skrillex tweet/artist on Taka) CONTRABAND by Naisha, and Redline Dash, which sampled CONTRABAND, could it have all be connected and the remnants of some kind of Dog Blood type group? Like a fusion dancehall group with Sonny, Naisha, and maybe Ahadadream that just never came to fruition?

Interesting. Or maybe not.

I think the “Celeste voicemail” that’s been going around isnt an actual phone call.

It’s not uncommon for artists, especially in the hip hop/ rap scene, to include “dialogue” into tracks to kind of set the scene of a song. I say this because the actual call itself was featured on a song and (to me at least don’t get mad) it doesn’t sound like a heartbroken person begging for forgiveness. That, plus the fact Celeste’s voice is also on the track Invisible String Theory and the scrapped and recently leaked interlude from the withered album.

Don’t get me wrong, it definitely could’ve been real, I just feel like if they were in a difficult spot and she left him that voicemail, it probably wouldn’t have ended up in the track.

Just my two cents, let me know your thoughts.

The state of farmers markets is depressing.

I went to a local farmers market for the first time in a couple months, it’s about 45 minutes away and only happens during the summer. My god, farmers markets (I know not all of them, but I’ve been seeing more and more complaints about them) are absolute crap these days.

I remember going to farmers markets with my grandparents when I was a kid and it would literally be 10-15 vendors who were selling fruits, vegetables, and handmade knick knacks. Now I go at there are 50+ vendors and AT LEAST 2/3 are food trucks, 3D printers, alibaba buyers, or ai generated garbage. I literally counted while there and there were less than 10 people who were actually selling things that “belong” in a farmers market.

There is definitely a grey area especially in my examples because there are a couple photographers and artists; I don’t really think that stuff belongs at a farmers market, but I’d rather see them than the other crap sellers.

Not to mention how it seems more and more like these type of community events are turning into influencer runways. I can’t tell you how many people I saw vlogging and taking photos while other people were trying to shop. I got a bunch of dirty looks from a group of college girls who were taking pictures in front of a statue with a line running behind it.

I just want some fresh local produce, not a bunch of cheap garbage and to be stuck in a TikTok.

The prosecution definitely has more evidence than they are sharing publicly.

Based on my personal professional experience (state prosecution and criminal defense) the prosecution has WAY MORE evidence than they are sharing.

A preliminary hearing is not to show all of the evidence they have collected, that’s what the actual trial is for which hasn’t began yet. There is also a period during arraignment called “discovery” where all evidence must be submitted to the court.

They don’t want to show every single piece of evidence now to not sway public perception more than it already is since it will be a jury trial.

I’m posting this because I’ve been seeing a lot of post asking questions along the lines of: “When will he be sentenced?” “Did they not find DNA?” “Did he actually stab her? They haven’t mentioned a weapon”

Just trying to help someone understand.

When autocorrect makes a mistake and that’s what people focus on.

I made a post about Dr. Fauci invoking his 5th amendment during a congressional hearing, and because the newest iPhone update made autocorrect absolutely horse shit, my first use of invoked was changed to “evoked” and JESUS CHRIST that’s what 90% of the comments were about. Not about what I was saying, the fact that “if you don’t know the difference between evoke and invoke you shouldn’t make decisions” just shut the fuck up dude.

Not everything on Reddit is so serious like the neckbeards seem to think. Even after i corrected it and added a edit the comments kept rolling in with about every 4th being about what I had actually said, while the rest were about me “using the wrong word” super annoying.

You shouldn’t be allowed to drive a F-250 or bigger without a special license.

By special license I mean either special testing, or a CDL type license. Too many people both young and old do not have any reason to own a truck that big, and the fact the vehicle manufacturers are able to sell 350s and up to a random dude of the street is bizzare to me.

If you need a truck bigger than that for hauling or whatever, you should have to pass separate tests.

The “everything is content” mindset is filling social media with garbage.

Title says it all honestly; I think trying to monetize a hobby isn’t inherently bad. If you enjoy fixing cars and want to make videos and try making money that way, go for it! More power to you! But going to the store is not film worthy, sorry. If you make a “come make dinner with me” and the video is driving to the store, buying things, and making a pork chop, why is that something you are trying to make a buck on?

Before all of the “People can do what they want./People like stuff like that./The internet is huge just scroll./Don’t like it don’t watch.” just shut up and think about it. When I look up a new exhaust for my motorcycle that I’m thinking of buying and the first 100+ videos are wannabe influencers posing in front of a chopper, that is irritating. Same with food, I buy a tuna fillet and want to see what I can do with it, and there’s 50 videos of people talking about the history of tuna fishing.

Not every single thing needs to be filmed, you’re not that interesting.

I wanted to add I remember seeing a video a few months ago where a lady was upset that I man was upset that she was blocking the loading zone of a hotel or something. Why are you setting up a tripod, camera, and walking 50 feet away to film you loading your luggage. No one cares.

Pixar Place hotel experience.

I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed, and I didn’t know what flair to use so apologies for that too.

Has anyone stayed at the Pixar Place Hotel in Disneyland? My wife and I are planning on taking our kids to Disneyland before the school year starts and I really want to stay at the Pixar Place hotel. The price difference between Pixar Place and an offsite but still close hotel is pretty steep but I’ve literally been a Pixar fan since I was a kid.

Is it a worthwhile expense? Or should we maybe just visit the hotel with some downtown if we have any?

Thanks in advance.

This judge stopping a victim impact statement caused the whole courtroom to laugh.

Judge stopped a victim impact statement telling her to “slow down” and everyone started laughing, including the kid who killed 4 students in 2024. Was she speaking a little fast? Sure. But don’t stop her because you “can’t understand” this girl had to watch her classmates die and you’re trying to get a chuckle?

Is anyone actually shocked that Celeste had an abortion?

I’m not trying to start anything negative, but I’m seeing posts all over the internet about how shocked everyone is about her pregnancy. I remember seeing reports from the police saying she wasn’t pregnant at the time of the murder and I remember thinking “doesn’t mean she never was” and to find out now that it happened at some point I just have to ask, does this really shock anyone?

As soon as details started coming out my immediate thoughts for motive were either money, or pregnancy. Share thoughts please.

Small edit: it is an absolute tragedy, and everyone in that poor girls life failed her. I’m not trying to make it out to be anything other than tragic and horrific.

When people say “flavor” instead of “scent” when smelling something.

If there was a satire flair I would use it, but it makes my eyebrows furrow when you are smelling a candle or something similar and someone will ask “what flavor is that?” Are you going to eat it? It’s scent, buddy.

HOT TAKE: Hoppers looks a little sloppy.

I watched Hoppers for the first time last night, and while it’s a good movie, is written well, and for the most part looks okay; I can’t get past the fact that the animation looks kind of sloppy. There’s scenes where the dialogue doesn’t sync with the mouths, where the characters move or walk in ways that aren’t smooth (specifically Mabel getting on and off her skateboard.)

Not to mention that weird shift to make more realistic characters. Elio was (in my opinion) the perfect mix of old Pixar style, and “new” Pixar style. Hoopers just slapped a very realistic teenager in a world of eccentric looking characters.

Tell me your thoughts. I like the movie as a whole, I just think the technical skills that make Pixar stand out were on full display.
