I am trying to fix some clothes I ordered from the internet that don't fit me. Switch the zipper in a dress I sew ages ago and the zip broke. Fix the leg of some pants I own. So stuff like that. And let me tell you. I am probably a second away from hurling my sewing machine across the room. Honestly, kudos to people who thrift flip or fix clothes because I would rather sew anything from scratch than have to unpick stuff and then try to fit them together "out of order". Trying to wrestle with a whole dress while I am sewing the shirred back that I cut in half back onto the dress because it was way too wide. Normally I would sew the back of the skirt and the shirring together first then sew the whole dress together but that would require me to unpick a LOT of stitches (pockets, side seams, other decorative stuff etc) which is not happening so I am wrestling with the whole dress while sewing and I want to cry.

How do y'all do it? Bestow your wisdom onto me so I don't throw everything out and just sew myself new clothes.

Women were kidnapped or in some other way got to their planet. If I remember well they might have had some women of their own but very few. They have a "this is my mate" situation. The women first tried to stay in a closed room especially since they got suspicious that women who got taken away by their mates came back fully on board with the aliens. They were big hunky guys who fight as a culture I think. And they might have had horns and the horns were sensitive? It was open door for sure.

I have been receiving this error code for a few days now.

I have a Sharp LC-43CFG6001K.

Things I have done:

• Turned the TV on and off.
• Clicked away from Netflix and back again.
• I have unplugged my TV, pushed on the power button for 10 seconds, then let the TV rest for five minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again.
• Signed out of Netflix and then signed in again.
• Factory reset the TV.

And yet, I still get the same error code. The router has not been touched this whole time, same settings, same everything as before when it was working perfectly. YouTube app works perfectly on the same TV.

The account IS an extra household connected to another account. I am not sure if that is relevant.

I have been active in this subreddit for a while and I keep seeing tight plus two inches. 86 is about 33.8 inches which makes 36 make complete sense however I am surprised about the 34. I do love my bras fairly tight (as shown by the tight vs snug. Although I suspect I could have pulled the tight tighter but the measuring tape kept slipping from my hands. But even then probably only by another 2-3 cm max). So I am wondering why the calculator would suggest a 34 for these measurements? Thank you in advance!

Also would you recommend Elomi for these measurements? I have tried Panache Ana when I was 38G and it pressed really badly on my sternum (you guys said it was too projected then). I am in Poland and my friend is taking me to a store here that sells Elomi, Panache, Agio Milano, Gossard (and polish brands).

I am wide root, according to the nipple test slightly top full but imo they act more like bottom full (very saggy boobs).

I went down 12 kilos on 0.5 in the first 6 months then stalled. Since then I have increased to 1 mg (about 5 months ago) and still no change. I have been hovering right around this weight and it is not budging. I am not dieting because of bad history with diets but I am not eating bad either. I have a physically demanding job that has been picking up so while I don't work out I have been getting more "exercise".

I am injecting into my stomach. I am eating enough. I can eat just fine, I figured out my trigger food (beef) so I have been without side effects for a good 5 months. My cravings are less, my impulsivity is less. However, it is expensive to do this when I have another 20-30 kgs to lose and nothing is budging. What can I do? Should I increase? (My doctor lets me decide by myself). I am a bit sceptical about changing injection site but maybe I should try my arms. I did the side of my thighs for a while but then that stopped working so that's why I started on my stomach.

I am going frolicking with my best friend in the autumn and I want to sew a frolicking outfit. I am thinking bias cut a line skirt, a basic blouse and a calf length a line coat. Anyone knows a pattern they have done and were satisfied with? Pockets are a nice touch but not needed (also would prefer hidden ones with no flaps or sewn on pockets). I would prefer no hood.

I was looking at Gertie's Swing coat but she doesn't have one single picture where she is just standing in the coat buttoned up. It's all action shots which is pretty but also whatever because I cannot see the actual shape of the garment.

I have been eyeing her Princess Coat for years as well but I haven't been able to justify the 22$ to myself yet.

While boycotting, I thought i would catch up on the lore. I have not viewed any of the cards of the LIs I am not interested in and I have only been playing for a bit less than a year so I missed a lot from before I joined. However, I simply do not have the patience to consume the storyline the way it is done in the game. Is there someone who has re-written the story to be a novel or something similar? I would love to understand the whole universe. Thank you in advance!

I have done the Frances fully twice, partially another 3-4 times. Portugues from Porto once. Parts of plata twice. So I am a veteran so to speak (although I don't consider myself as such). I've got the boogie in my legs again and I am considering jumping over in August for a bit. (Unfortunately I cannot go before then). Should I do the Norte which I have never done before or go for the Frances again which is just meditative? Or do the Portugues again as it has been 11 years since I have last done it? I haven't been on the Frances in summer since 2014 which was before the time of apps and bookings so I am sure it is much different nowadays.

I know this is a decision I will have to make ultimately, but I am just looking to brainstorm with people and listen to your opinions. Thank you!

I have worn Simone Perele after finding abtf and I liked it (I am similar shape to her). I only wore Triumph before my journey so I am not familiar. I have tried Next many many times and everytime it was like 5 sizes too big. Hunkemöller is nice for me for sexy lingerie but I wouldn't necessarily wear it day to day but maybe they have a section for those kind of bras (I was looking for lingerie when buying Hunkemöller). And I am not familiar with the rest at all. So I am a bit lost on what to advise her. I sent her a couple of links on Zalando for bras which looked right for her shape and she will order and try them on but I only found... 2. So I am hoping to go through a few other websites which sell some of the above mentioned bras and order her a few more to try.

I bought 4 cakes of Yarnart Mirage (150g/500m) but I have access to more. I originally was gonna do a specific dress pattern (Oh My Figure by Stine Jørgensen) but after having done a swatch with the yarn, I don't think it suits this specific design (the gorgeous ribbing pattern kind of gets lost.) I was wondering if anyone knew a pattern that they would recommend for sport weight variegated yarn. I have been trying to look on Ravelry, but I find it hard to find sport weight patterns that I like and are available in my size (around 2X).

The yarn is 80% acrylic, 20% wool and is not the easiest to frog. It has some fluff to it.

Honestly, other than not really wanting very basic patterns and I would love some handholding from the designer, I am good with anything, so throw anything at me. Thank you in advance for your help!

I am knitting some gauge swatches for a dress that uses 2x2 rib knit. I have never done a swatch that was in rib knit and considering that it alternates knits and purls anyways, does knitting in the round make a difference? I don't have a lot done yet but I have frogged this like 3 times due to different mistakes and I am kinda done frogging lol. So anyone has experience whether knitting in the round makes a difference for rib knit? Thank you!

So I found a gorgeous yarn, but it is cone yarn and 1300m/100g. So thin. Like very thin (as it is made for machine knitting). However, I have been following a youtuber who knits with cone yarn but she just uses several strands together. I was wondering how to determine what weight doubling, tripling, quadrupling the yarn will add up to so I know what patterns to look for. Is there a way to determine?

I bought 6 balls of Lana Gatto Nuovo Jaipur and I haven't tested all of them yet (I am not home and they are not with me) but the one I am currently working with for swatching is incredibly overspun. Like I have never worked with something like this. It has become a big ball of mess already unfortunately because I was not paying attention to it and I just kept pulling without checking what I was pulling from. I will untangle it slowly, but is there anything I can do with it? Will simply skeining + steaming + weight do anything for cotton at all or do I have to whip out my drop spindle to untwist this mess? This is my first time working with cotton so I have no experience unfortunately.

In about a month my 1 year anniversary is coming up and I am happy to say that I am almost completely side effect free. I figured out what was bothering me about 4 months ago (beef. I cannot have any beef.) and from then on it was mostly smooth sailing.

I have "only" lost about 13 kilos (about 30 pounds, 16 kilos or 35 pounds since my HW) which I know is on the slow side, but I try to be okay with it. I have another 29 kilos to lose to get to my gw (about 63 lbs) so I have a long road ahead of me. I try to tell myself that the slower I lose, the more sustainable it will be but I don't know if it is true or not. Either way I try to stay motivated.

Now for a small win: I recently visited my friend in Japan for three weeks and I know it is not recommended but I didn't bring my pen. I didn't want to bother travelling with it plus I have to be honest: I wanted to be able to eat all the yummy food. I ate as much as I desired and came back weighing the same as before. Some of the food noise returned but I didn't feel bad cravings like I would before doing Ozempic. I injected before travelling then I missed 2 doses and injected half a dose when I returned.

I don't know if anyone has brought this up but I watched Sylus' card for the first time yesterday (first card I watched) and there were quite a few instances when my screen went completely dark and let me tell you. I do NOT want to be watching my face while I am watching a card like that 😂

I went crazy buying up plötulopi (unspun wool yarn) when I was in Iceland. Okay, not crazy but I bought 10 cakes to make a sweater. Originally I was gonna make an Icelandic sweater(pattern by alafoss) but then I realized that I would literally cook to death in one in my country. Like things just don't get that cold. (I blame the beautiful colors they had on me buying so much without thinking things through).

So now, I am wondering what I could make out of it. I am thinking maybe a crop jacket to use as a coat? What do you think? Also, if anyone has a pattern that worked for them (preferably plus size friendly) that would be lovely. Thank you in advance!

I am going to Korea for 5 days. I used to live there but because I lived there I could afford to get lighter treatments that needed several months to really take effect. Now, I won't be back for a while so I want to go stronger. I don't care if recovery is 2 weeks, I just want results.

About me:

33 year old, dehydrated skin, tight pores in general but cheeks are starting to widen. Sun spots developed over the cheeks (freckles style). Dehydration wrinkles. Normal wrinkles especially on my forehead and glabella coz I frown a lot.

I don't use anything with active ingredients. Mostly just sunscreen and moisturiser.

I am definitely getting lip fillers and botox on my glabella and forehead.

What I would like to get: something for the sunspots. Something for the dehydration.

I am thinking IPL or Picosure and maybe Rejuran HB Plus. What do you think? Have you had these done? Do you prefer something else? Any experience or opinions?
