Same Name Different Meaning
Funny how two of my favourite pieces of media have an event with the same name.
All For One Whenever He's on screen for some reason:
The Alter
Quirk: Alter
Type: Emitter/Accumulation (Unclear on which category, possibly a combination of both types)
Description: The user is able to take quirks from others by pulling on their quirk energy, similar to All For One, yet is unable to use said quirks. The user can enter a pocket dimension only they have access to. Said pocket dimension contains a being who can communicate with the user. It is believed this being who appears as a giant black orb is the Alter Quirk itself, meaning Alter is a sentient quirk. Within the pocket dimension the user can break the obtained quirk down into its core components and can alter how the quirk works and operates. The Alter itself provides feedback and information on the user's work. Once done altering, the user can return the now modified quirk to the original user.
Abilities: Can take and modify quirks to modify and make them more/less efficient than they already were. Creates a sentient being who can only communicate with their user.
Drawbacks: Pulling in too many quirks can lead to severe headaches while remaining in the pocket dimension for extreme amounts of time can cause nausea and other forms of sickness.
Notes: It is unclear as to why Alter is sentient, as unlike other sentient quirks (example: Dark Shadow) its sentience serves no purpose since the user knows everything about the quirk upon obtaining it. While the user has full control over Alter, the quirk can still think for itself and observe with its own thoughts. It is also believed that due to the complexity of Alter, All For One cannot take the quirk for itself as Alter could be far too complex for A.F.O. to handle.
