I have very bad pain every day, enough to distract me from daily activities. I just saw a doctor who confirmed it’s schuermans kyphosis and also scoliosis. I’m getting lumbar and thoracic mri’s now coming up. He said surgery isn’t necessary at this point and wants me to start PT. How do these look to everyone? Does anyone have similar x-rays?
Wanted to come on here to look for advice. I’m bipolar 2 and have adhd. I’ve had issues in the past with managing adhd due to me being very sensitive to stimulants as a result of the bipolar 2. My moods been stabilized, but I was having bad concentration issues and a very loud head. I was prescribed 200mg of qelbree daily, and I feel my brain is more quiet but not much maybe 50%. I don’t have any motivation to do anything anymore. I don’t even care to get ready if I don’t have something important to do. I have also been very tired, but also can’t sleep well, and having nightmares, but not really also, it’s like I feel like I am but I’m not. Weird feeling to say the least. I’m getting kind of dull when I’m talking to others, and I’ve been getting more depression symptoms. Will this subside. I’ve been on this for going on 3 weeks. I’m not sure what to do, as it isn’t fully helping adhd, but I need it managed. Nothing else I’ve taken has been tolerated as I will go full manic from it.

I have been struggling with Scheuermann’s kyphosis for the past few years. I’m 21, and when I lost weight over the past4 years, it started progressively getting worse. Last year I went and got an evaluation with MRI and x-rays. I have scoliosis, mild lordosis, two herniated discs (top and bottom of spine), and degenerative disc spurs.
The doctor said it was bad, but not severe. He told me surgery is a last resort and he didn’t want to give pain management. My pain was more manageable back then in November/December when I got scammed. Since then, it’s been progressively worse each month, and I get aching and burning pain through most of my spine. I had mild knock knees too, and they have increased severity and I’ve also noticed a more pronounced anterior pelvic tilt.
I feel defeated and my mental health is struggling, because not only do I look worse from the outside, but I feel pain from 5-8 out of 10 every single day. I’m going to make an appointment to see another orthopedic surgeon as I moved, but I’m not sure what options are available to me.
I feel like my body is failing on me😪
From 17 to 21. It’s definitely been a journey, and I’m proud of my progress and how far I’ve come over the past 4 years. It’s crazy to look back at me when I was 17. I was morbidly obese, and my doctor told me I needed to lose weight, or I’d die in 25/30 years. I had developed diabetes and hyper tension. Blood pressure was 150 over 110, now it’s 110 over 68. Normal BMI and A1c too. So proud to be where I am. Take your health seriously. I needed to change my ways, not just for visual changes.
Had a cavity filled in one of my back molars and needed a rescan. I wore my trays as normal and they might have worn out or stretched I guess, because I have this gap at my bottom front teeth. How bad is this🫣. Would this go away with chewy use or is it severe? Lmk!

I had a an extended TT with MR 14 months ago. I was felt tight in my chest and stomach for a while but it slowly got worse after about a few months. it been getting worse still.
I have a pushed out stomach every day all day. Forget about it if drink soda, I feel like I’ll burst open. I’ve been having back issues now worse, as I have kyphosis in my spine which naturally causes a curve. My core feels loose and my knees and legs heavy. I feel more sturdy when I suck in and clench tight with my abs by far.
I added pictures comparing angles and relaxed and not relaxed images. When I stand up slightly engaged with my core and breathe normal, my upper chest bulges out and stays bulged out. It goes in and out slightly when I breathe. I actually had a hematoma the day after surgery in same spot. When I push out my stomach, the bottom actually goes in and center pushes out/ firms up. I put a photo of both pushed out and in. When I push out too, half my chest bulges out and half goes in slightly (seen from top view looking down pictures).
I have swelling or water retention bad daily, and I get a large ledge above my scar daily. My “love handles” or near where the edge of my incision ends becomes very puffy and jiggly. It goes over my pants, and looks horrible.
I feel defeated, and even though I’m around the same weight as when I had my TT, I feel so much heavier, and I’m having back pain now worse. I had a doctor look at it at urgent care once after my doctor wasn’t concerned, and she said the upper linea alba feels separated slightly. I didn’t ask about bottom. I had ct without contrast and ultrasound of top and bottom done at the orders of my surgeon after I requested them, but both didn’t show anything. That was about 6-7 months ago. Since the regulars didn’t show anything concerning, he won’t do a revision of muscle.
My belly button did heal over too much and tingles, so he wanted to do a revision of that for aesthetics, but only that. He won’t entertain anything else. I have that booked for August 19, but I’m posting this as if I get that surgery, I don’t want to recover and still need other things fixed!!! If something else is wrong I would want to explore other options.
When I feel my chest, especially when doing a sit up like shown, it bulges up slightly, but below belly button feels soft and separated from what I can tell, and the top under ribs does too. The center feels rock solid. When I feel myself engaging and pushing in and out, the middle feels very tight with not much movement while top and bottom moves more.
I’m having a lot of swelling as I said earlier, and it gets sore to touch when you squeeze it. Above my belly button gets very puffy. In the side view of me where it says “pushing out” you can see how the belly button area has a bump above it. That’s all swelling. It’s crazy to say this, but even though I had a lot of loose skin, I’d prefer it to this.
Does anyone have anything that they think and would like to share. I really would like to hear what you all think. Could this be a failed MR, or something else? I’m super self conscious now, and if something’s wrong, I would want to see if another doctor could do a revision, but don’t even know where to start😓

I had two fillings done. Both on right top and bottom wisdom teeth. I never was in pain before, even with cavity. I use Invisalign, and afterwords of didn’t stay on those teeth, so I’ve gone for a rescan and they trimmed both sides of trays wisdom teeth. I’ve never had any problems with these teeth, and now I have pain all on back side. Very back high gums, teeth and my cheek is even puffy slightly. My throats been sore too. I had my filling done on Tuesday, and now it’s Saturday. I feel like little bubbles come out of two parts of the edge of filling and a small picks goes into the edge a little when I saw it had a space it looks to me. When I don’t have my trays in, the teeth feel bad pressure on one side I think, but not sure since it’s all over pain. It’s worse when I wake up. The wisdom teeth don’t touch when I have trays in though! Please help me with advice. My dentist doesn’t open until Monday .

I got this as a kid from a very old collection and was told this was mines in the 50’s/60’s. It’s natural to my knowledge without treatments. One is darker bright blue with speckles of pyrite and denser with a higher pitch sound when “dropped”. The other is lighter more true turquoise color. It’s less dense and more dull when dropped. ( when I say dropped, I mean tapped on my granite countertop lightly). The lighter yellowish matrix is 60 grams. The darker blackish matrix is 71 grams. Does anyone have any more information or can elaborate or back up what I have found.
Have this antique sterling hair pin converted into a brooch. It has a solid black Australian opal in it. I’ve had it confirmed , but don’t know the value. It’s a fairly large stone. I have a $1000 offer on it from someone I showed, but even though it’s a lot of money, I want to make sure it reflects the true value. Can anyone give any insight? In person it’s insanely flashy at all angles with some very small spots that blend in on edges that have no noticeable flash, but as you can see in photos it’s minimal. TIA

I’ve had kyphosis since I was young, don’t know if me being obese when I grew up contributed to it, but now at 21, and a normal weight, it’s talking its toll. I have kyphosis, scoliosis and even minor lordosis. I additionally have two herniated discs. On in my shoulder blade area, and on in the lower back. On top of all that I have degenerative disc spurs. The pain has been getting worse, and when I got my imaging done I. January, the doctor said surgery isn’t necessary. He didn’t even mention anything besides to try and work out. The paid is bad daily, and I can’t stand without it being painful. Walking isn’t as bad, but being stationary or even siting is hurting. I need to constantly adjust my seat in my car to accommodate it. What these mri images and my back picture, what do you guys think? Being young, would surgery be an option to choose not vs later?

I don’t know if this is purging. I stopped the clindamycain in the morning completely and kept the tret at night. I’m including pictures from this past Friday and today. 3 days apart. It looks way worse today. The pictures of today come before the ones of last week. Let me know!

I’m not sure if I’m over thinking this because of the past experiences both myself and others have had, but I was just taking photos with snapchat filters with my sister in my house. With the flash, the pictures were too bright so I was screenshotting mid photo to catch the more dull look. My Snapchat stopped working and got stuck on what I thought was a bugging screen, but then I started moving and noticed it was a live recording from my phone. The face was in front of me and one next to me when I turned. My cat who was with us immediately left the room. I immediately started screen recording this. We were playing music, so it is in the recording.
This isn’t the first time this area of my home had an unknown paranormal experience. The first encounter was my sister who’s now 23 seeing a woman in a wedding dress standing by the room and then walked through the wall. She was 8. Me now in my twenties as well saw a head floating in the darkness at about age 13 when I came downstairs for a snack in the middle of the night. I saw this from across the house as it’s very open. My cousin also about 4 years ago was sleeping over during a storm as her house lost power. She was sleeping in the living room. She woke up and saw my cat who has since passed look scared and walk away quickly, and then she heard a musical tone being whistled from this exact room I was just in. She immediately left in the middle of the night afterwords.
The land my home was built on was originally occupied by a house in the 1800’s which burnt down. I’m not sure about the exact details, but it didn’t burn down until the 1900’s as there is an old driveway entry on the far end of the property. I have a photograph of the home with the large family standing on the porch. It’s a very old photograph. This home was exactly where this room is located on our land. Our home is quite large, so being separated and only in this singular area is very strange. These experiences all stem between 4-5 years apart.

Long story short, I hit my nose hard, it gushed blood but did not bruise. This was over 3 weeks ago, and it looks different now. It’s dropping a little, rounder, and overall less defined.It’s also very malleable, and I can feel a lump near the tip. If I pull my lips down, I feel like I have something moving under skin, as my nose stretches down. That probably won’t make sense, but overall it feels off physically. Please let me know your thoughts, and if this is just temporary trauma response??The last picture is an older one for reference!
Hello! I hit my nose on a toilet… long story…. But I have this bump or divot you could say. My nose tip has been bigger now too. It’s been weeks. I can feel a ball of cartilage, and when I pull nose down I feel it more! It even creates a white spot when I pull it down. I used to have a flat nose lose, and the the”shine” of my nose like contour you could say would be even down my nose, and no it has the Scot outwards that made that go away. It’s like a bulb. I feel very self conscious! Anyone know what could this be??the first 3-photos are now and the rest are of my old nose. I went to my local ent, and he said my nose is perfect. I didn’t show before pictures, but I know it obviously looks different so idk what it is!

I posted earlier about a possible defect in my trays and adding onto this with more photos. I also just noticed that I’m missing TWO attachments. Not sure if they fell of today or were never put on this morning at all. It’s not as simple as going back to ortho for me, as I’m in college and fly back home. I have my flight back to college booked for this weekend and they don’t re open until after I’m back in college. I cat come back home until end of June! Is this a big deal?
