What if the rules were changed so that anyone born under American military occupation would also be just eligible to run for president as natural born citizens, assuming they are 35+, lived in the USA for 14+ years, etc?

Say the Democrats get it to pass as an amendment in exchange for something that benefits the Republicans (but that’s beside the point). Depending on the situation, the eligibility would correspond to a certain zone like Germany and Austria, or anywhere in the country like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Each country’s best finish in their confederation’s soccer/football tournament

🟪Champion
🟦Runner-up
🟩Semifinal
🟨Quarterfinal
🟧Round of 16
🟥Group stage
⬜️Never qualified

This map only counts results as a part of their current confederation, which is why Israel is gray instead of purple, as they won the Asian Cup but now play in UEFA and have never qualified for the European Cup.

16M, 17F: Is it weird for a dude to have female friends he likes?

I have 3 female friends in my grade who I’d say I’m close with. We talk in class, we text sometimes, we’ve even hung out after school. I’m not currently trying to rizz them up, but if they were interested, I’d accept in a heartbeat because they’re attractive and they have nice personalities. Of course, if they were super chopped and acted like Karens, I wouldn’t be friends with them, but I’m wondering if it’s weird for me to view them like this.

Thoughts on this Mehdi Hasan quote?

“Abortion is one of those rare political issues on which left and right seem to have swapped ideologies: right-wingers talk of equality, human rights and ‘defending the innocent’, while left-wingers fetishise ‘choice’, selfishness and unbridled individualism.”

It should be noted that he said this in 2012 and is firmly pro-choice nowadays

What are the most popular religions where you live?

Where I live, almost everyone is either Catholic, Mormon, generic nondenominational Christian, Muslim, or irreligious.

I know some Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, edgy crystal pagans, etc, but their numbers are much smaller in comparison.

Eastern Christianity

While I know that Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, the Assyrian Church of the East, and all their offshoots are considered “Eastern Christianity”, I was wondering if Eastern Catholicism (like Chaldeans, etc) are also considered as such
