ID3 GTX Hard and Sticky steering wheel
My parents ID3 GTX is back from the dealer after a BCU issue practically bricked it. However upon getting it back I noticed that the steering wheel was quick sticky. I have plenty of cleaning products to sort that so I did.
However, the wheel feels really hard and the texture looks porous. I dont recall the steering wheel being this hard feeling to touch now its been 2 months since I drove it. But are there ways to soften it a bit. Coming from a MK7.5 GTI I am shocked at how far the interior build quality has fallen on modern VWs

Too good to be true?
Hi, non evo owner long time fan,
I was searching online and find a nice evo x for sale in Northern Ireland at a crazy low price (£8500). (Classic what's wrong with it case) anyway, I was curious that a manual fq300 was going for 4 figures now this car was for sale 4 months ago in March for £9500 and it didnt hang around so when I saw it again I figured something was up.
Reg check came out all clean, mileage was legit at 145k miles and mot tests have shown the cars passed all since 2023. TC was done recently as well. My only concern is the with the log book. It hasn't been changed since January despite seeing the car for sale in march and now this week.
Is this just a casual car flipper job? Or a sign to run and high and believe all is too good to be true cheers for your help
Anything I should ask about it to explain the price? Im guessing its cooked underneath
Extra brownie points if youre based in ireland/uk id have to import it to the roi and this being for sale has been itching me for a while. Could be a bargain could be financial ruin.
