Help Identifying Some In-game Items

I ran across a few dyes, skins and mounts on the last few days and I'm hoping to get some help identifying what they are and how to get them.

What I'm looking for:

Pic 1) The gray skin with the marbling.

Pic 2) The mount

Pic 3)The multi-colored mount

Pic 4) Screenshot didn't capture the shine on the red dye, it looks almost wet.

Thanks in advance!

Who Are The LEAST Problematic K-pop Artists?

With all of the negativity surrounding k-pop right now, I'm looking for the opposite of problematic. I want to be able to dance and bop to some k-pop without it being connected to a scandal or any kind of "ism".

I miss the days of just listening to my favorite group blissfully. Now I know too much and the groups I stanned just piss me off. Can you guys help me out by recommending k-pop artists or groups who come baggage-free? Or at least without *major* scandals? I mean everybody does dumb stuff but not this crap we're dealing with now.

Thank you!🫰🏾

How To Add Tinsel To Vintage Jem Doll?

(Posted in the Jem subreddit as well)

For nostalgia and fun I bought a vintage Synergy doll on ebay and for some crazy reason she doesn't have any tinsel in her hair.

I bought some hair tinsel but I have no idea how to attach it. I have zero experience repairing or customizing dolls. The tinsel did come with a couple of tools if that helps. Any advice is welcome, thank you!

Picture one is my doll, picture two is what she should look like.😊

Shivering Cheese Through Thieving!

I got The Shivering Cheese!

I was doing a Crime Spree quest for the Thieve's Guild to rob a safe boxes in Rivenspire. I decided to go to the Mage's Guild, opened their safebox and there it was.

I figured I'd share in case it works for someone else.

I don't know why people want it, but I've heard about it for a long time. Maybe one of those finding it when you're not looking situations.

Why Are We Waiting For Infold To Say Something? They Have.

Disclaimer: I'm still in the fight and hope everyone is coping well.

🐺 Ever since Wolf-gate started there's been this waiting for infold to "say something" or "address the issues" etc.

We kept getting reasons that they weren't allowed to "say something": the CN government, an endless number of sensitive dates, legal proceedings, holidays,

"it's the weekend" and on and on. And none of those reasons came *directly from* infold, they were theories put forth by others.

So here's the meat of the matter. If the reason that infold couldn't say anything was tied to specific dates or government issues or whatever, then why have they posted content the entire time? I took screenshots of a lot of their posts since Valko's cancelation, and they've said plenty.

We keep acting like they've been silent because we need hope, so we keep giving excuses as to why Valko hasn't been released. We keep excusing infold by coming up with reasons why infold has no choice in not addressing the issue.

But they have said something. They've released re-runs, furniture, a new Caleb solo memory and now...Rafayel's new myth. Nothing is holding them back from communicating.

The problem is that we don't like what infold is saying. They're giving us the middle finger and saying that they bet the new myth will make us cave. They're not silent at all.

I'm not saying there's no hope, I'm living on hope. I check everyday to see if something has changed. But Rafayel's announcement pissed me off and I needed to get this off my chest.

I literally caught my breath when I saw this yesterday. It hurts me as much as it moves me.

Not sure if the original poster is the artist.

When Does Aspiration Become a Danger?

My father-in-law has Alzheimer's and I'm in the weird position of being the only person in our family who's actually trying to learn about it. I'm thinking he's stage 6? I say "think" because no one has told us and I'm basing it on the chart and the severity of his symptoms.

I wanted to understand why Alzheimer's causes death and it wasn't what I thought. I thought the brain got damaged too much to function but I read that aspiration is the leading cause of death, or I should say pneumonia. That freaked me out because my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and my husband have no idea (I've told my husband and will talk to my MIL) that it's even a possibility.

But I don't want to make a big deal out of something if it's not an issue we need to be worried about yet so I thought I could ask here because everyone has so much experience.

Right now he's in the phase of not bathing, thinking my husband is someone else, getting lost in stores and he's left their house on his own and gotten lost. I wish he was in memory care but I don't have a say, so all I can do is learn and try to tell the rest of the family.

So, at what point do we need to worry about aspiration? How will we know? How do we keep him safe?

Oh, yes he does have a neurologist but he's new to them. They have another appointment with him soon but it would help to know what to ask.

Thanks so much.

Problem: Care Services Not Being Used For Sufferer

Sorry, I don't know what word to use but I need advice. I'd love to be specific but I'm being vague to avoid a fight if this is seen.

My very close relative has Alzheimer's. He really needs help with hygiene, walking, doing laundry, cooking etc. He has insurance for home care that will cover any help he needs but the services aren't being used to help *him*, his wife is using them to do what *she* wants to do.

She's his caretaker so we can't stop her. We just keep bringing up what he needs and telling her to let the care staff help him. But she's decided that they need to do things for her. He really needs to be in memory care but she's blocking us on that too.

What can we do?

I Got My Chips!

I just started replaying MM after not playing for several years. I was shopping for some Japanese mayonnaise online and I saw these! I was going to wait until I started 707's route but he's right, they taste good, so I already finished them.

Post- Stroke: How Hard Is It To Learn A New Way To Knit?

I've always knit English style but I'm *very* slow. I'd like to try knitting in a more efficient way and I feel like flicking has more economical movements. Actually Continental seems more efficient as well.

My challenge is that I had a stroke a few years ago. My memory is...annoying. I can start knitting row 1 with basic knit, purl stitches and then I get to row 2 and I don't remember how to do a purl stitch anymore. I literally have to watch a video on how to purl. I started learning the Shale/Feather and Fan stitch and it's super relaxing even though I have to watch videos to remember how to yarn over every time.

Because I'm slow and having to remind myself how to do stitches over and over, I end up making mistakes and having to unravel my work so I never make progress, then I get tired and have to rest. I don't get anything done. I still have muscle memory though, so in a way I'd have to unlearn that.

Maybe if I could learn a more efficient, speedier way to knit I could actually *make* something. How hard is it to change to a completely different way of knitting? Which method do you think would be most helpful for me?

Thanks!

[US] Wells Fargo Call - Did Something Stupid

I just got a call from Wells Fargo (from India) claiming that someone opened a credit card in my name and made a charge of over $600 in Canada.

The reason I half fell for it is because they had the date the card was opened, the last 4 digits of this supposed card plus my home address and my email address so I thought it was legit...at first. *I confirmed my address and email*. I can't believe I did that! So stupid!

I noticed something was wrong when the "rep" transferred me to their "fraud department" and the woman's wording got really weird. It started sounded less professional, lots of using my first name "Miss***" and "Miss ***" over and over. Saying that her colleague was trying help me and it was very serious.

I felt something was off so I started saying that I would call back using the number on my card (I don't think we have a card but I wasn't 100% sure).

And then she started pushing really hard for me do something about it now. She asked if I would call back today as soon as possible. She said they had to start an investigation and I wouldn't be able to use my bank accounts. I was already suspicious and that sealed it. I repeated that I would back using the number on my card and she gave up.

So, how screwed am I because I confirmed that the address and email they had was right? I didn't give them any other information at all.

Will I Have To Start This DLC Immediately?

I find this a bit weird. I want to buy this DLC but it's acting like my current game (I'm on Jumin's route) will be erased and I'll be forced to play this immediately? Is this true?

If it's true then I either have to finish Jumin's route before the sale ends or stop playing his route, start this one and then go back to my save later to pick his route back up again.

Doesn't that seem weird?

Help Sewing A Replica of a 1980's Doll Outfit

Hey guys!

I'm deep in childhood nostalgia and I'm working on finding Jem and the Holograms dolls from the 1980's. I've got one doll on the way (Synergy) but she has no clothes. I'd like to re-make her outfit but I've never worked on something so small and I have no idea what fabric to use.

I'm posting pictures of her outfit. The most important is her leotard.

Can anyone give fabric suggestions and also suggestions on paint to use to draw the neon lines?

I'm planning to make clothes for whatever Jem dolls I can find because the cheapest dolls unfortunately don't have the original clothes and the ones that do are too expensive.

Thank you so much!

Self-Care For LADS Depression Share Your Suggestions And Strategies

So, after today's update a lot of us are deep in our feelings. It's been a hell of a roller-coaster and not the fun kind. I know the player base is experiencing anxiety, depression, anger and lots of other emotions.

This would be a great time for us to take care of our mental, emotional and physical health.

How about sharing what you're doing or will do to take good care of yourself? Anything, even if it's simple like drinking more water.

Here's some of mine:

I'm going to make a list of the otome games I want to play and what order I'm going to play them. And I'm going to actually start playing the first on my list. The Steam Summer sale ends tomorrow so it's the perfect time to grab otome games.

I'm also going to make myself do some sort of crafting at least once a week like knitting, embroidery, sewing or another hobby.

I'm going to clean up my Chinese light novel reading list and read some new stories.

I'm going to do my nails.

Ok, your turn!

Cat With Startling Blue Eyes And Unique Coat - Is It AI? Commenters Aren't Sure

I just saw this video on another sub and I'm seriously hoping it's real.

There's some disagreement in that sub because of the cat's eyes being unreal vs the movements being natural.

The video is fairly long compared to typical AI videos and none of the weird AI cuts.

The commenters point out that the cat looks like it has eyeliner on and someone thought the blink at the end had a filter but I don't see it.

I'm a lifelong cat owner and the cat play looks real to me.

I'm honestly hoping it's real because this would be the most unique cat I've ever seen and she's gorgeous.

For Players Struggling Emotionally...

Hopefully it's ok if I post this. This post is *not* about leaving LADS, it's about helping with anxiety while waiting to see what happens.

I'm feeling *a lot* of empathy for players who have relied on LADS for emotional support. I know what it's like to have fictional characters (who don't feel fictional) get you through difficult times. It may not even be about a difficult period in life but about getting through life in general. Now, a lot of us are dealing with increased anxiety.

Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus and Caleb each have qualities that resonate (pun not intended) with each of us. And it can be comforting to know that we can log in anytime and have "someone" who will be supportive and take us on a date or talk to us intimately.

It's definitely helped me, even as a distraction from crappy things happening in the world or in my life, like living with serious illnesses.

Since all this happened it forced me to figure out alternatives and honestly doing that helped ease my anxiety. It's kind of like finding out you're being evicted but then you find a new place to live and you calm down a bit.

For me it means exploring other otome games on other platforms like PC or Switch. I'm actually a huge otome fan and I clean up during various platform sales so I have HUGE backlog of otomes that I already own. I realized that I have a hundred unique love interests to get to know.

There's a sub where people will help you find otome games that you may like and maybe that can help some of us dealing with anxiety.❤️

Hold Your Ground

I'm actually editing this as I write it because infold's social media is nonsense. Nine hours ago they posted a little nothing blurb about free summer furniture and at the bottom it still has the update for July 9th listed. I think that they literally have these posts pre-scheduled to auto-post with no human looking at it.🙄

So onto my original post.

This is the hard moment. It's been almost 24 hours and everyone's feelings have had time to settle down. This is the moment when it's easy to start rationalizing.

This is when thoughts that it's ok to still play but maybe just don't spend money will occur. The wait and see thoughts because it might be scary to stop playing, especially if the game has provided emotional support during hard times, which it has for a lot of us.

I'm saying this now. If we go back to them it will be the final nail in the coffin for *us* as players. Infold will know then that they can truly screw us and we'll just take it and say 'please sir can I have some more'.

If you decided to stop playing and uninstall, hold your ground.

I'm not saying don't keep an eye on social media for updates. I'm not saying to give up all hope of Valko releasing. I think that's too much to ask. I'm honest enough to say that the first thing I did when I woke up was to check if infold reversed their decision.

I am asking for us to be firm and resolute.

This goes beyond infold. In the future any Chinese-based otome gacha games that come out will look at what's happening now and it may affect how they practice business. We cave now and nothing changes in the present or future.

The Ramifications of Infold Canceling Valko

Infold canceling Valko because of pressure/bullying from CN players is so disturbing that I'm still trying to take it in.

One of my first thoughts, well probably third thought, was that all of Valko's voice actors lost their jobs. That's really serious.

Can you imagine how they feel right now?

Second, infold has now shown that they can be manipulated and bullied into making massively important changes. They've shown that they will cave into pressure. They're spineless and can't stand behind their own work.

All of the infold employees who worked SO hard on Valko not only just saw their work undone but because infold promised to never release any new LI, their work will never see the light of day, beyond the previews we got. How heartbreaking!

I had already decided to quit the game before Valko was announced but seeing him brought back my passion and excitement for the game. I hadn't felt that way about LADS in a very long time. Infold's decision to cancel Valko has crushed me and I have zero respect for them and my interest in the game is gone.

The future of LADS will now be dictated completely by CN players. We now know that the only changes made in the future will be what CN players allow them to do.

International players never mattered. That's why the issues with dark skin MC's having better lighting in kindled scenes never got fixed.

I'm crushed and I'm out. I can't believe this.
