She wants to set up her laptop to play her old ps2 games she never got the chance to finish and asked me to install the emulator for her like I did with her new 3dsxl and duckstation for her old ps1 games she never got to play because she was too busy raising me. The laptop plays ps1 games with no issues, well almost no issues.

(For some reason some ps1 titles drop frames when other characters come into play and will drop the fps to 19.93-19.96. And fps drop and it is always the same number across the board of every single game. I’m assuming that’s just how some games just ran back then as overclocking didn’t always fix it. Sabans power rangers light speed rescue for the ps1 never went above 19.95 in a handful of scenes no matter how high I set the overclock. And the games that were “fixed” only sped up when I set the overclock to like 600%. Weirdly though, there’s no steady climb to a more stable fps for those games. For example 499.9 overclock still caps out a 19.95 fps but 500 exactly suddenly makes the game run at like 200x’s faster)

Anyways… neither here nor there. I’d like to know if I should even go through the effort of setting it up on her computer or not.

Her laptop is a acer aspire 5 5500u processor, amd Radeon graphics, 8 gbs ram and 512GB ssd. Was this the information you guys need? Is there anything else you need me to go find?

I should mention my mom has a very… unique way of preference for playing retro games. She refuses to use enhancements at all. She had me set it up so there were no enhancements at all and it looked, sounded and played exactly as it did when she first played it decades ago. Needless to say being able to run the game at a higher resolution or with extra bits and bobs is not something she wants to do which I imagine makes it a bit easier to run?

I apologize but computer specs are but my thing, I use computers and even set up emulators on pc and SBC handhelds but when it comes to pc specs or classifications I immediately obtain a room temperature IQ. It’s like seeing a video of people speaking gibberish in an American way, i hear my people but I cannot understand them.

Granted, I’m not sure pc needs one considering the amount of things you can do to keep it updated on your own but I don’t play primarily on pc so idk.

Going back to Arkham games on the series x is a bit rough to look at. For such a popular series and the recent blunders of the studio why haven’t they just did something safe like remastering the Arkham games for current consoles and possibly add in some highly requested QoL updates?

Have they ever spoke about remastering the games?

The game is on sale on Xbox right now for 13 dollars with its deluxe being 20.

The store page says that intergrade contains everything in the deluxe edition minus the digital art book?

Is this a store end mistake or does the digital edition 7 dollars more because of an art book?

They wouldn’t walk around, they’d just sit in a chair and start working on whatever they’re assigned to or they rotate from on thing to another but ultimately cannot be interacted with. They have incredibly basic lines if you just press a, x or whatever the pc button to interact with an npc. They have no unique qualities, they’re entirely just decoration haha.

The goal is to make our empty ships feel more alive with red shirts crewmembers stationed at the many interaction points within the ship.

I’m not requesting anyone to make it, I do not have money to commission anything from anyone so I just asked this in curiosity. Would the creation kit allow someone to make a mod like this?

Oh, and does anyone know of reliable YouTubers that teach the basics for creation kit?

I fucking hate ai and what it’s doing to the planet and how it’s dominating and eating the tech industry alive. I hate that the ai steals from real art made by people and uses it to generate its own. I hate how accepted it is and how easy it is for people to use because its obviously been presented and accessible such a “generous” way where anyone can turn what’s in their head into an image or video. Obviously that would placate a population to look beyond the immediate issues if they can turn their imagination into “art” without spending years learning to make it themselves.

I hate it and yet I can’t make myself look away from ai generated videos and images I come across. I’m obsessed whenever I see them because it looks so real. It’s obviously fake but sometimes I can’t tell. Or the style of the video is so absolutely unique and real that I genuinely am obsessed. I hate how interesting it is and I hate how I’m looking forward to seeing how it progresses (specifically real time ai generation because imagine walking around in a real time ai generated video or game where it looks real with concepts programmers only dream of. AND I FUCKING HATE THAT).

The liminal videos where someone is walking around backrooms like areas with the dancing old Japanese guy dressed as a schoolgirl or that rendition of the man people see in their dreams.

The videos where someone attempts to recreate an atmosphere from decades ago like the 90’s but so incredibly heavy on the feel of it that it’s almost dreamlike.

The videos where it’s spooky or creepy creatures with a found footage effect. The kinds where it’s a colossal monster walking about in the background on a low resolution picture.

The insanely stylized “genres’ like dark fantasy or high tech fantasy.

Images or videos designed to look dreamlike and generated with such a feel that I truly feel like im in a dream due to the accuracy of the nonsense going on.

Anyone familiar with markville? It’s a really weird and shitty ai series that always claws my attention to the screen. It uses a color palette you’d see from the 1990’s to early 2000’s with exaggerated faces and bodies you’d see from practical effect prosthetics and costumes you’d see around the same time. The aesthetic is so interesting with its buildings and streets looking so dreamlike yet so real.

I’m never bored of these types of images or videos, I cant ever just skip them or look away and I hate that so much. I feel so damn awful about it because I know that even if you don’t care about it stealing art you can’t just wave away what it’s doing to the planet.

I’m one of the first people that will post ai slop under ai pictures and videos on social media but I’m a fucking hypocrite because I’ll watch them every single time.

I hate how much I like watching ai content and I’m so ashamed because I know it’s a net negative for our species and planet.

D10 is brain dead easy to complete against the mindless masses. I want to be surrounded by hordes almost constantly and forced to navigate streets and alleyways completely filled with voteless. I don’t want any other special unit, the difficulty should come solely from the voteless numbers itself.

Just scale horde density with difficulty. If large maps cause you to be limited in spawns then make it smaller.

Mindless masses is my favorite because cutting through chaff is great, I wish there were way more.

There are two skins, one male and the other female that I really like the look of and would like the option to make them wear other “armor” I bought or earned from battlepasses/store.

I am not sure why this wasn’t a feature already considering bfv had a system that was ideal for any bf game in terms of customization (I meant soldier customization, not the wacky clothes stuff).

Is there a reason these characters have names and bios? Is there some overarching story I’m not aware of? I didn’t play the campaign, are these guys from the campaign and that’s why I can’t use their face for the class skins I like using?

I’ve been looking for ages and the only eyes I found were just glowing ones.

The vamps in the sinners movies don’t have glowing eyes, they instead have reflective eyes giving them a more sinister nature. Kinda similar to riddicks eyes.

I cannot post pics here so to those that don’t know what I mean you’ll have to look it up. Search reflective eyes sinners and sort by images and you’ll see it.

Now, if worst comes to worst and nobody made one or willing to make one I might try learning to make mods. Unfortunately I have 0 knowledge about it. Can’t make any promises because I have 0 experience making mods.

Been lucid dreaming for like 20 years now and haven’t been keeping up with the community, was wondering if we made any breakthroughs in science or medicine that helps people lucid dream easier.

I can only speak about console from my perspective because that’s the way I play the game so idk if pc players want the same.

The best time I had with this game was playing it with crossplay off but if I try that today it’s rare that I’ll actually find a full match at all.

I mean it’s a pretty minor suggestion but I’m surprised it’s not a thing already.

I genuinely can’t play the game, I’ve been fiddling with the games settings trying to get the feel right and no matter what I just can’t improve how I look around or aim. If someone runs up on me and I aim down I always aim in a jittery mess that goes off to the side of them while they laser me down. It’s like the zoom aim is too fast and I can’t pinpoint the aim at all. It’s either too fast or too slow and I can hover over someone to shoot someone before they lazer me down.

I am not bad a pvp games, in destiny 2 I was among the top players for trials of Osiris on Xbox. On overwatch I often reached the highest rank possible in ranked. I play darktide at the highest sensitivity possible and frequently clear havoc 40 (hardest difficulty possible in the game currently). I’ve had 0 issues with past battlefield games and frequently went above 60-80 kills a match.

But battlefield 6? I can’t go above 10 and I ALWAYS lose fights I should’ve won (like I catch them off guard and they miss hits or don’t even realize I’m there at all) but don’t because I can’t comfortably aim for shit in this game.

I’m close to just abandoning bf6 altogether as the frustration is building to a point where playing is not worth the annoyance the game gives.

Anyone have tips to fix this? Anyone have the same issue but fixed it? What did you do?

Are there any cosmetics they could add? Sometimes I just want to rock a basic chapter and use neutral/unaffiliated cosmetics but most of the cool ones got a big chapter stamp or design to them lol.

Nothing too loud or anything, just things a space marine might adorn casually.
