Why Expert Mode Is So Underwhelming In Ni No Kuni II?

I recently decided to replay Ni No Kuni 2 on expert mode since I thought the normal mode of the game was too easy on my first play through. Honestly expert mode though didn't really feel all too different since all that expert mode does is make enemies deal more damage while you do slightly less. Even though on expert mode it's incredibly more punishing to take a hit the thing is that enemies are still very slow and predictable. Since enemies are so predictable most of the time you should only take one or two hits from regular enemies. Another reason why you should barely ever get hit is because of how easy it is to combo in this game making most enemies unable to actually do anything. Something else that I believe makes this game easy is the amount of free bosses/tough enemies in this game since they all get combo'd very easily. The two hardest bosses in this game are probably Mausinger since the teleporting and faster attacks can be quite annoying to deal with especially since you have to fight Oakenhart immediately after. The second hardest is easily Bastion since I don't know if it's just because I was 10 levels underleveled but Bastion just wouldn't die since it takes forever to move to his weak point and the second phase with the platforms is just annoying to do with a camera made for a JRPG. The reason why I made this rant is because I've seen many people say expert mode is so difficult which made me try it out in order to find out if it's actually that hard. Tbh it really isn't much different then the base game in terms of difficulty. If I were to make expert mode better I'd make it so enemies are much faster and all get hyper armor well bosses no longer can get staggered as easily. I'd make it so less orbs drop since throughout the game I rarely had to use soreaway or sensors since I got free Hp and Mp from just hitting enemies and then even if you can't get constant damage in you'll never need to use healing items ever again once you get Bracken. In short this game is easy af.

Shadar Vs Doloran (Narratively)

When you think about it Shadar and Doloran are very similar. They are both antagonists who serve a much greater antagonist though primarily serve as the main threat throughout most of the story. They are both connected to the protagonist as soulmates. And share similar abilities in being able to manipulate people. The only difference is that I believe Shadar was portrayed better. I don't know if it just has something to do with how much better the first game story was but Doloran just feels much more bland and plain. I think what really makes Shadar a better antagonist is how much more of a direct threat he is throughout the entire story. Shadar is much more personal as he is technically responsible for killing Oliver's Mom and is the reason as to why Oliver set out on his journey. Shadar is also just more intimidating as everyone throughout the game pretty much fears him. Doloran on the other hand barely does shit that directly drives the protagonist for most of the story. I think in the story Mausinger served as a better antagonist since he is more connected and actually felt more threatening through his hatred and actions which makes me wish we got more of Mausinger. I'm not saying Doloran barely did anything since he is basically responsible for almost everything bad in the game. It's just that Doloran had less depth or presence. It felt like Doloran was less of a character and more like a root cause to everything bad in the game. I get that Doloran was supposed to be more like a puppet master from the shadows but he feels more random than cunning. It also doesn't help that he only shows a little character near the end of the story. I mean you can also say that's Shadars biggest flaw as well but his backstory doesn't tie as much with his motives and mostly displays how Lucien came to hate the world and how he connects to Oliver. It also should be noted that Shadar doesn't really need a motive considering he basically already accomplished it and is at the end of the day a secondary antagonist who follows orders from the White Witch. Having Doloran's backstory at the end of the game doesn't help him since he is clearly motive based and it makes his acts seem entirely random. I think Doloran fell flat mostly because he suffers from a lack of screen time. If Doloran had time to reveal more about himself throughout the story and engage more with the protagonist he could have been much more interesting but unfortunately he barely has 5 minutes of screen time out of 40 hours of story. which makes him feel quite rushed.

Could Shalnark have defeated or survived Hisoka if he had his abilities and been more prepared?

I believe that if Shalnark had a chance to use his abilities he could have probably survived Hisoka or at least be a much closer match. Shalnark mainly died because he was caught off guard and gave his ability to Chrollo. It's not clear as to how strong Auto Pilot is since he only really used Auto Pilot on a Chimera Ant Officer who he pretty much blitzed. Even if Auto Pilot is more powerful then Hisoka Shalnark would probably not be able to win since I doubt he can beat Hisoka in the time limit. Hisoka is damn good at surviving things so he'll probably survive Autopilot by reattaching limbs or just straight up coming back to life. It's questionable as to if Shalnark could win but he could at the very least have escaped considering his intellect.

Ni No Kuni Series Bosses Ranked From Worst To Best

First of all I will not include any of the tainted monsters, or bounty hunts since they are mostly all pretty forgettable. I will also not include any of the rematch's from the WOTWW post game since most of them don't really change other than being a tad bit stronger. This list is purely based on how good the experience, gimmicks, and designs were.

What are some good sleeper picks for PvP?

I want to know what are the most underrated Pokémon for PvP. for example once in a while I use a Great League Shadow Rhyperio., surprisingly Shadow Rhyperior can be a Great League one man wrecking crew. Shadow Rhyperior can’t take a hit so if your opponent has a fast grass or water move your fried but if they don’t then they’re fried. Shadow Rhyperior even wins the 2 shield against Shadow Swampert and has good matchups into Talonflame, Jumpluff, Lapras, and several other top tiers. Another sleeper pick I rarely see in Ultra League is Fury Cutter Earthquake Sceptile. Fury Cutter is just in general an underrated move since it’s basically just a Dragon Breath clone meaning you’ll farm energy much faster. Earthquake is so fun to use on Sceptile since that makes Sceptile a safer switch in option. If you switch to Sceptile your opponent will either switch into Tiphlosion or Skeladirge. Because your running Fury Cutter most of the time you’ll farm energy faster. Most of the time your opponent won’t expect the earthquake. Anyways please tell me your best sleeper picks.

Ranking Every Ni No Kuni Boss In The Series From Worst To Best.

This list includes most of the major bosses from the first and second game apart from a few exceptions. I did not include bounty hunts, most side quest bosses, the Doloran's Design mini bosses, and tainted monsters because most of them are just not that interesting. In case you're wondering I counted all 3 of Shadar's phases and the first 2 Cassiopeia phases as 1 fight. This list is just my opinion and can differ between players.

Is Ni No Kuni II REVENANT KINGDOM worth it?

In my opinion the game indeed has many flaws. Despite its many flaws I believe there are a couple things that the game does better than the original. I think the best thing about the game was the overall world building which might be better than the original. he kingdoms are mostly visual stunners and have good concepts. Goldpaw, and Broadleaf are probably my favorite locations in the series.

Even though I love the setting of the game that's almost all it has going for it though. The game can get boring pretty quickly since its game play can be very easy and forgettable. I'd say from my experience even though I was underleveled for the majority of my 2nd playthrough it still felt like I was plowing through enemies well 10 levels under. I think another problem this game faces is the lack of real bosses. The only somewhat decent bosses were the Kingmakers and Mausinger who in my opinion had decent gimmicks that made them alright bosses. For nearly every other boss in the game you're pretty much just fighting bosses that reappear as tougher enemies. The bosses don't have personality like in the original which makes them feel lazy and forgettable.

The combat in the game is just mid in my opinion. There is basically almost no difference between each of the playable characters in terms of actual game play unfortunately. The best part is the higgledy's since they can have some pretty fun abilities to mess around with, and come in clutch in terms of making the Kingmaker bosses fun to play.

The overall depth of the game is quite lacking with a very mediocre plot. Doloran was definitely no Shadar, or Cassiopia but still not the worst antagonist I've ever seen. The plot just isn't that compelling like in the original game with its heart touching moments that made us all cry, and its characters are all very bland in both appearance and character design. I feel like even though Roland was supposed to be kind of like a sub protagonist he just isn't. Roland pretty much gets sidelined throughout the entire game despite being the first character you play as. Evan as the actual protagonist was just lacking, as I think they tried giving Evan some development except they failed miserably. Since the game is basically just Evan the fact that they failed to give Evan some depth does not help.

If you played the original game and are thinking of playing REVENANT KINGDOM this game is entirely up to you to play or not. For me despite having a couple cool side quests and neat things its still just alright. In terms of if this game is worth playing or not for me personally I'm not playing this again. I'll admit there are a few good reasons to play but the negative just outweighs the positive.

Beginner Precision Speedrun

Took a second to make, but it’s a relatively easy precision speedrun level for beginners if you want to try. It has only two jumps that I’d say are somewhat difficult but if your going to try it please give me feedback.

Is Eternatus Ever Coming Back?

To give context I was never able to complete my pass in order to get Eternatus. The reason I never completed my pass is because I had many midterm exams to study for during that week so it was between catching Eternatus or failing my midterms.

I desperately need Eternatus to come back in raids, field research, or something since as of my information Niantic isn't bringing it back any time soon.

Is Hojo Responsible For Every Bad Thing That Happened In FFVII?

Now that I think about it. Hojo is responsible for at the very least half of every bad thing to happen in Final Fantasy VII. First of all Hojo is responsible for creating Sephiroth after technically killing Lucrecia, and fucking up Vincents entire life. Next Hojo decided to kill Gast steal his research and steal his family for his breeding experiments. Because Hojo created Sephiroth he would easily win the war against Wutai causing the country to lose all its power. And since Hojo thought it was a good idea to tell Sephiroth his moms an alien he started his own genocide route which made him erase Nibelheim off the map. When the Nibelheim incident is over he decides to then experiment on the survivors turning them into Sephiroth clones. It's also clear that at some point he kidnapped Red XIII for his breeding experiments. Also if Hojo knew the promise land was not real from Gast's research he could have just told the president. Which meant that instead of investing in Neo Midgar President Shinra would have to go with Reeves plans to repair Sector 7 after the plate crashed. Because Shinra would know that the promised land was fake they also wouldn't need to steal the keystone from Cloud. And for the worst thing he does in the game is try to shoot the sister ray at Sephiroth which would have blown up all of Midgar and give Sephiroth more power to destroy the planet. Even after his death when attempting to fire the sister ray he still comes back as the main antagonist of Dirge Of Cerberus somehow.

Why Is Modern Ash A Bad Protagonist?

I think Ash just keeps becoming less of a good protagonist as the series went on. My main problem is that Ash just matured way too quickly. Character growth isn't a bad thing, but I feel like by the time Black and White released Ash felt almost flawless. It's almost as if Ash had nothing else left to learn. It also doesn't help that the series is painting Ash as a rookie since he shouldn't have to go to school in Sun and Moon, he shouldn't be taking an L to Trip in Black and White, and shouldn't be on par with Goh in Journeys. At those points in the story Ash should not be on that level. At least In Pokemon Indigo League to Pokemon Diamond Pearl Ash felt like he was still progressing. In Pokemon Black and White to Pokemon Journeys Ash's character has no change whatsoever.
