Want the Pixel look on Oppo phone HELP

Hi,

I am coming from Apple and leaning heavily into getting the Find x10 Pro when released.
Oppo ticks all the hardware bpxes for me like an amazing camera and long battery life.

However, I love the stock clean Pixel look and I already got an Honor MagicPad 4 which I customized with Lawnchair and M3 widgets and I love it.

Now I have read that Color OS is not really usable with thirf party launchers because of losing gestures, getting delays etc.

Is there any possibility to come near the stock Pixel look without any trade offs?

Small watch with Google Pay

Coming from Apple, searching for a watch that lets me pay contactless with Google Pay.

Should be small since I got small wrists.

Based in Europe, OnePlus is withdrawing here.
Thank you

Is it wrong to prefer helping my widowed mother directly instead of giving her a fixed monthly amount?

Based in Germany

Assalamu alaikum everyone,

I would really appreciate some sincere Islamic advice because I feel torn between my responsibility towards my mother and my responsibility towards my own marriage and future.

My father passed away, may Allah have mercy on him. Since then, my mother has been living with my sister. My mother understandably does not want to leave my sister alone, and our family hopes that my sister will eventually get married.

However, my sister and I unfortunately have a very difficult relationship for personal reasons that I do not want to share publicly.
We often argue when we see each other. She also repeatedly compares our incomes and tells me that she earns much more than I do and that I am not on her financial level. We both earn good salaries, but she earns more.
Because my mother lives with her, I understand that my mother is naturally closer to her situation and tries to understand her point of view. I do not blame my mother for that, but sometimes I feel that she is caught between us.

My mother receives a widow’s pension. She might also qualify for additional financial support related to housing if she were living alone, but because she lives in the same household as my sister, the household income affects her eligibility. My sister is also financially independent and earns a good income.

Now my mother is asking me to give her around €300–400 every month. Alhamdulillah, I earn a good salary, but I have also recently bought an apartment as a long-term investment for my future. I am married, and while my wife works, I earn significantly more and therefore cover most of our household expenses. I have also bought a larger car because we hope to start a family in the coming years.

I am not trying to avoid helping my mother. During my father’s illness, I spent a significant amount of money on treatments and other expenses. After his death, I also paid various fees and costs. I did all of this willingly for my father and family, and I would help again if needed.

However, a fixed payment of €300–400 every month would make it very difficult for me to save or build financial security for my wife, future children, and our future. I am also worried that if I simply transfer money every month, I may not know how it is being used, and I am concerned that some of it could indirectly benefit my sister. Because of our relationship, I would strongly prefer to avoid that.

Would it be Islamically acceptable for me to support my mother in other ways instead? For example, I could pay for larger necessary purchases, buy things she needs, pay for groceries, cover specific bills, or help whenever she has an actual financial need. I would still be supporting her, but in a way that is transparent and financially manageable for me.

My mother is not without income, and she has housing and support through living with my sister. At the same time, I know that caring for one’s mother is a serious responsibility in Islam, especially after the death of one’s father. I do not want to be selfish or neglect her rights.

Am I wrong for feeling that a fixed monthly payment of €300–400 is too much for me at this stage of my life? Is it reasonable to offer direct support and pay for specific needs instead, while still protecting my marriage, future family, and ability to save?

Please be honest with me. I am not looking for people to simply agree with me. If I am falling short of my Islamic responsibility, I genuinely want to understand and correct myself.
JazakAllahu khairan.

1. BMW Z4 G29 (bereits bezahlt)
Marktwert ca. 33.000 €
8,5 l/100 km
Super Plus: 1,90 €/l
Versicherung: ca. 850 €/Jahr
Steuer: ca. 200 €/Jahr
Laufende Kosten/Jahr:
Benzin: ca. 2.423 €
Versicherung + Steuer: ca. 1.050 €
= ca. 3.473 €/Jahr (ohne Wartung, Reparaturen und Wertverlust)

2. Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD Leasing
36 Monate / 15.000 km
576 €/Monat inkl. Versicherung
Laden ausschließlich am Supercharger (0,43 €/kWh)
THG-Prämie ca. 200 €/Jahr
Praktisch wartungsfrei während der Leasingzeit
Kosten/Jahr:
Leasing inkl. Versicherung: 6.912 €
Strom: ca. 1.032 €
THG: −200 €
= ca. 7.744 €/Jahr

3. Polestar 2 Auto-Abo
606 €/Monat
Versicherung, Wartung, Verschleiß, Zulassung, Überführung und sämtliche Nebenkosten inklusive
Nur Strom kommt noch hinzu
Kapital bleibt ebenfalls investiert
Kosten/Jahr:
Abo: 7.272 €
Strom: ca. 1.032 €
= ca. 8.304 €/Jahr

Meine Gedanken:

Switching from Apple: small wrist - which 40mm-42mm watch?

BASED IN GERMANY

Hi friends,

I am switching from the Apple ecosystem to Android. My phone is an Oppo Find x9 Pro.

I got small wrists so the oppo watch is too big with 46mm and many other watches as well.

I am searching for a classy looking Watch for the office and everyday life with:

- Google Pay
- smallish for my small wrists
- health functions
- good battery

I considered the Samsung Ultra 9 but I read they only work fully with Samsung phones.

Do you have a good value watch suitable for me?

0% Vorteil auch beim Leasing Model 3?

Hallo,

[Germany] Searching for leasing i4 edrive40

Hi,

Danke

Leasing Angebot ok?

Premium AWD. Stealth Grey. Bekomme 3000€ Prämie vom Staat.

Will nicht finanzieren, da ich kein Restwertrisiko möchte und normalerweise alle drei Jahren was anderes fahren möchte.

Frage:
