I know there's a majority that see Sonic & Miku as the SEGA Siblings, but if anything, I think that title should go to Arle instead (Sonic and Miku Fan Art by @JYmilion on Twitter)

Don't get me wrong, the Sonic and Miku pairing is great but I think Sonic and Arle mesh well together with their similar personalities and design philosophy.

Also they're literally twins, sharing their birth years.

Happy (Belated) 20th Anniversary to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

20 years ago, on May 5th 2006, many of us as kids witness the premiere of one of the greatest preschool cartoons of all time. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is multi-generational spanning across a ten year run from 2006 to 2016 making it the longest running show on the channel.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse encouraged mathematical learning and problem solving skills, whilst also exploring the many wonders and magic across the Clubhouse world. The Mousketools were a unique idea as a way to engage kids to use critical thinking to find the most plausable solution to whatever problem Mickey and the gang had to face.

And when the day is done, we celebrated by doing the iconic Hot Dog Dance, which took heavy inspitation from Mickey's first words Hot Dog in the 1929 classic short, The Karnival Kid.

Although the series made its inevitable end in 2016 with many of his upcoming adventures taking place in successor series such as Mickey and the Roadster Racers and Mickey Mouse Funhouse, it would soon make a return in the new revival series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ released in 2025. As it seeks to revive the magic the original had whilst also giving Mickey friend's they own clubhouses.

As we celebrate 20 years of the past, may we look forward to many more seasons and adventures of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
