I bought a 17 pro max back in October 2025 i’m happy of it it’s better than a regular 13 based model. The only regret i feel is how heavy it is with a case .
Trying to run NextDNS through my browser's built-in DNS-over-HTTPS setting alongside ProtonVPN, but ProtonVPN seems to take over DNS resolution once connected.
Setup:
Issue: With the extension off, my.nextdns.io correctly shows the browser using NextDNS. As soon as I turn on the ProtonVPN browser extension, the site shows a different resolver instead, even though my browser's DoH setting is still pointed at NextDNS.
Question:
Curious if this is just a hard limitation of how VPN tunnels intercept DNS, or if there's a setting I'm missing.
I currently have a promo with public mobile it’s 29 for 2 years Unlimited Canada, US and Mexico wide
minutes + 80GB Dota within Canado, the US
$50.00
and Mexico at 5G Speed
But i’m thinking long term fizz might increase prices for new customers which if I don’t switch now after 2 years i would pay 50 + tax with public mobile.
Any advice ??
Right now getting to folders means leaving the Inbox entirely. I’d love a small Folder button in the bottom-left corner, styled to match the other floating buttons (same Liquid Glass look).
Instead of navigating away, tapping it would pop open a Liquid Glass menu right there with quick access to:
**•** 📥 Inbox
**•** ⭐ Starred
**•** 📤 Sent
**•** 📝 Drafts
**•** 🗑️ Trash
**•** 🛡️ Spam
**•** 📁 Custom folders
Ideally it expands upward from the button with that same smooth Liquid Glass animation the rest of the UI uses — so it feels like part of the system, not a bolted-on menu.
The goal is really just to keep the Inbox clean by default, but make folder-switching one tap away instead of a full navigation change.

I was wondering if helium in the future will be just a minimalist browser similar to brave or more like a new arc browser ? What is the roadmap for helium ? What to expect in the future?
How can I fix this any idea ?
i've notice that now helium feel so slow compare to zen browser anyone else have that feeling too?
I used to have the dev beta on my iPhone like 1 day ago but I removed it because of issue with FaceTime making my phone way hotter than if I used iOS 26 and almost weird glitch on FaceTime where you only see your self even if you answer a call I reported that to apple . But I want to know the the public beta got any bug fixes that dev beta didn’t get ?
Running NixOS with KDE Plasma 6.7 on Wayland. When I click the application launcher (Kickoff), there’s a noticeable delay before the menu actually pops up — but once I click an app inside it, the app itself opens instantly with no lag. It’s specifically the menu rendering/opening that’s slow, not app launch time.
Anyone else running into this on Wayland with 6.7? Wondering if it’s a Kickoff-specific issue, something with the Plasma cache, or a config I should look at. Any known fixes or workarounds appreciated.
So MW4 doesn't drop for a while and I've got some time to kill, figured summer sale might be a good excuse to finally pick this up. Been hearing about it for years but never pulled the trigger.
Checked the player numbers before posting this obviously (no offense) and it looks like it's sitting around 15-20k concurrent on Steam which honestly seems way healthier than I expected for a game that's been out this long. Doesn't look like it's dying anytime soon at least.
Couple things I'm curious about though. Is it rough getting into as a total newbie at this point, or is the skill curve manageable? I keep seeing people complain about the UI changes from the 1896 update, is that still a thing or did people mostly get over it. Also not sure if I should just grab the base game or if the DLC/cosmetics stuff is actually worth throwing money at too.
Mainly just want to know if this is a good pickup for someone who wants something to grind on casually until MW4 is actually out, or if it's more of a "commit fully or don't bother" kind of game.
I’ve tried so many distros, and by now I know a bit more about what I want. I love Arch and NixOS, but I’m still figuring things out. I always feel the pull to go back to Windows because I’m afraid I won’t be able to do everything I need in the future. How did you all stay on Linux without that fear? I watch videos and keep thinking these people are all secretly on Windows for something. What exactly am I missing by being on Linux?
I loved working there but sadly couldn’t stay because I’m sensitive to noise and if your also new at Starbucks just letting you know the noise over there is loud but besides this I had a wonderful time as a worker over there !
